Convenient to all of what Jacksonville has to offer
Nice location next to town. We enjoyed the shops and fun that Jacksonville has to offer. We enjoyed the sun beaming through the stain glass windows and the cozy comfortable bed. House could use a bathroom on the second floor as the steps and House are from the 1870s. Also, the same steps exist to the Kitchen in the basement, another remanent of the era... Overall a great weekend away!

Beautiful historic house
Incredible historic house. Huge old windows looking out on gardens with deer wandering through. Kitchen down stairs with family sized table. It all feels from a different time and yet it is clean and cheerful. We just used bedroom downstairs with a bed fit for a queen . Great experience

Fun and quirky
Excellent communication with manager. Historic home with lots of charm and and an awesome backyard with daily deer visits . Great location across street from Britt Gardens and trails Not a good home for people who struggle with steps and upper bedroom level without a bathroom.

Really great place to stay
It's a great historic house. The stairs will keep you in shape or get you into shape. The kitchen has a great family feel and the claw foot tub was spectacular! We had a great time watching the deer in the yard and the walks to downtown.

Perfect location
Loved the location. We easily walked to town and back. Beautiful neighborhood. Very charming house. I would say the two twins in the living area are not suitable for adults due to the springs under the mattress. Very uncomfortable!
