Close to Mt. Snow and the quaint town of Wilmington. Come and relax in this private home set on two acres surrounded by beautiful white birch trees. All the amenities of home, with an added impressive stone fireplace, hot tub, and game room with pool table. 5 miles to Mt. Snow and Carinthia ski areas and close to the many hiking trails. Stratton Mountain also close by.

Second time still a charm

This was our second time staying at Peaceful Getaway and the experience was just as good. We all enjoyed the close proximity (about 10 min) to the mountain and use of the hot tub after a day of skiing. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. I would highly recommend this place for those wanting a "peaceful" getaway!

Great Weekend Getaway

The house was clean and comfortable, with plenty of extra amenities like the pool table and hot tub. Robert was a great host, checking in on us to ensure everything was going well on our second day and even letting us check out late when they didn't have another reservation immediately after us.

Great spot for a VT getaway!

The property is nestled in the trees in a very private location in the hills of Dover. The house was well stocked with spices, cooking wear, multiple grills, firewood, and everything needed to show up and get right down to enjoying yourself. With the yard out front and out back, and the downstairs playroom it’s also a great spot for families. The hot tub was perfect, and a great place to view the leaves or the stars. The surrounding towns are beautiful too, with lots of warehouse and tag sales and natural beauty to take in. And you’re stoked if you ski with Mt. Snow right there. It’s a 10/10 for me. 100% would rent again!

Family ski week

This is a great house for a family stay. Staying here has become a new family tradition for the past three years. About 10 min. Drive to Mt. Snow. Everyone looks forward to the large fireplace, hot tub, and pool table in the game room after a day of skiing. Room for everyone to have their space.

A great place wether you stay in or go out

The house was great with amenities galore from a quiet deck to relax on to a pool table for those rainy days. Robert was a wonderful host and was quick to answer any questions. We will definitely return for another stay.

Truly a Peaceful Getaway!

Loved our stay at the Peaceful Getaway! The house was perfect for our family, was well stocked and only a few minute drive to Mt Snow which was so ideal for our family. The owners were very responsive to our questions and issues that came up during out stay (we had a power outage or two due to storms). Would highly recommend this property that provided us so many comforts of home during our month long stay!

Snowy Weekend Getaway

We had an excellent stay. The house had everything we needed and the hot tub at night underneath the stars was great. We enjoyed staying only a short drive away from Mount Snow in a quiet location. We would definitely recommend this house to others looking for a spot in the area

Great home. Great location. Excellent host!

We will be renting here again. Robert's home was clean. It had a well-stocked kitchen and we wish we took full advantage of the amenities like the pool table and hot tub. Robert was excellent at communicating with us and addressed any concerns we had. He was accommodating and understanding. He checked on us several times during a major snowstorm to make sure we were comfortable.
