Wonderful week and really enjoyed the facilities. Only complaint would be the lack of explanation of where to drop off the garbage upon departure. Thanks

Furnishings are beautiful and home was stocked with everything one could need. We were in the area during a -25 spell and we were cozy inside. There is great access to downhill and Nordic skiing.

We had a wonderful stay during our visit to Montana! There was a small snafu with check in (my mistake missing the notification) but they were quick and super helpful to get me the info to get into the unit. There was convenient parking right out the front door and was so close to both downtown Big Sky and Big Sky Resort. It made getting to the mountain in the morning a breeze. I was expecting only two rooms but it had so much space - I cant wait to come back with more friends next winter! Oh and the welcome cookies were SO good! Excellent experience overall.

Hi Kaitlin!
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed the space, convenient location, and even the welcome cookies. We’re glad we could quickly resolve the check-in hiccup, and we can’t wait to welcome you and more friends back next winter for another great stay in Big Sky! Best, Jannen E
We loved this property, newly renovated, new appliances and furniture, beautifully decorated. The only thing that would make it better in my opinion is that the couch should have been a sleeper sofa so we didn’t have to have a huge blow up mattress in the living room. It’s about a 10 min car ride to big sky resort and tucked away from the main road. Hot tub was in nice condition too. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again when in big sky.
Stay Montana was an communicative management group that made the stay very seamless and comfortable. They sent over all the check in and out details well ahead of arrival. The only slight issue we faced was the original code for the door didn’t work. It was resolved quickly over the phone.
The property itself is in a nice neighborhood close to the resort and slept our group comfortably. The space was lovely, as advertised, and I would be happy to come back.

On the morning of the 3rd day of our stay there was no power in the unit. Since the heat is electric, there was no heat either. Later in the day guest services told us this was a maintenance issue with the power. The condo was cold and unusable without power, but I was told that no refunds or discounts would be offered. This was very disappointing. I do not plan to use Stay Montana in the future.

Great location! Away from the chaos of the ski resort but close enough for a quick drive. Very close to stores in town. Clean interior. Kitchen well equipped w even special items you might have at home such a melon baller, lemon squeezer. Love the decor to feel like you are in a cabin. Keep in mind that the condo is 3 levels. The kitchen/ sitting area are on the 3rd level. We didn’t catch that on the website before we signed up. A few things that could have been better: lighting in the dining and sitting area. It was really dim that we had to bring lamps from downstairs to brighten the room. There was a mild smell of dog urine in the hallway. We informed the management and they offered to bring over some deodorizer but we declined. It wasn’t too bad, maybe our noses adjusted to the smell. We appreciate the management’s quick response and effort to address the issue. There wasn’t a dish soap and a sponge as part of the starter kit in the kitchen. So we reached out to management and someone brought those things over the same day. Again, we appreciated the quick response. We were very impressed with the communication with management. Every time we texted a question (any concerns about the condo, or for recommendation in town), we received a timely response w a friendly tone. This ease of communication made us feel like we truly had a host there to ensure our enjoyment the entire week. The best compliment would be that we would stay there again!

Big Sky Vacation
The house was great for a multiple day stay snowboarding Big Sky. The garage was perfect for storing gear, lot to park outside in front, and the house was more spacious than the pictures portrayed. Everything else listed as advertised. Quick responses from hosts. Easy to get to, ~10 min drive to the mountain and ~5 min drive to town.
Other than a couple of broken windows, the back door being unlocked when we artived, and the powder room window not closing fully, this condo met our needs. The unit has more if a cabin feel to it than it looks like from the pictures.
The initial code we were given for the front door didn’t work, but a quick call to the management office resolved the issue (we were given a different code).
Overall, the condo met our expectations.
We had moose in our backyard. Other than the tablet not allowing us to check in, it was a great place to stay! They helped us right away with the issue.
Everything was great until the workmen started tearing off the roof of the building at 8 am on Saturday morning. The noise was very disruptive and they left debris including nails and shingles all over the balcony and parking area. Other than that, we loved the place.
Newly remodeled, close to the town and the mountain. Perfect view of Lone Peak. We did stay the week they were roofing the building but very little inconvenience.
A little further from mountain than expected (a full 5 miles) but close to markets. Place was nice, beds OK, all clean. When you go in the keypad is in the main door (there is a keypad outside that we must have tried 10 time) so a little frustrating. The tablet to communicate was BS…didn’t respond the chats, had some outdated info etc but didn’t really need it

Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
Unsatisfied family of 5
The place was nice enough, but I chose it to comfortably sleep 5 adults and to be able to wash our laundry as needed.
My son had to sleep on the couch the first night because the queen air mattress wasn't there. They did bring a new one in the next day as promised.
I was going to wash laundry the first night as we had already been traveling other places and this was our halfway mark and I made sure to rent a place with a washer and dryer in house. Only problem was the washer didn't work, so I was hand washing undergarments and other clothing items as we were running out of clothes. The manager came to see that the washer wasn't working, which in my opinion seemed to be for show. She then said she'd have someone in the next day or two out to repair it. That never happened, so I'm overall very disappointed as it was a very pricey place after all the fees and taxes were added on and so I would expect some sort of consideration of our sacrifices and just maybe do the right thing and apology and issue some credit to make it satisfactory without me having to say something! Also my advice is to make sure someone can be reached after hours to solve issues that may come. There was an allotted amount of hours to reach anyone and even that was a little difficult as you have to use the iPad and msg and then wait for a response. Not everyone stays put in the condo at all times and has the time to sit around waiting.
One more thing, I was given an access key to the pool and hot tub and was even told if I lose this key that was simply a piece of paper with our condo # on it and inserted into a plastic sleeve, it would be a $150 replacement cost and the pool and the invisible hot tub were closed for covid. Just odd the key was specifically left for that and they never mentioned it was closed.
