We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Could not have asked for a better ocean view. Loved watching the sunrise every morning. The condo was clean for the most part. Only issues was floors need a good cleaning. Our feet were black from going barefoot. Overall a great experience. Just bring slippers.

Great location and a comfortable condo

Portofino resort has everything you need. We loved the pool and the coffee bar.The condo had a great view of the Gulf of Mexico. High praise for the bed in the master bedroom!

we had a great time. Very relaxing place was spacious, clean, views you cannot beat. Look forward to going back maybe next year. Was a disappointed with the check out receipt of a $75 check in . Plus $10.00 resort fee per day. But overall excellent trip.

Spectacular - view and unit

When we walked through the large double doors, the first thing that struck us was the large den, dining, and kitchen space with wall to wall and floor to ceiling windows. My wife and I enjoy our travels tipped to the luxury side and we were very impressed. In fact, my wife informed me we WILL be coming back soon!! 😎

Breathtaking views

We loved this location. Breathtaking views of both the Gulf and Santa Rosa Sound. Right across the street from the beach, and the main pool was directly on the Sound. Portofino had great amenities: a pool at each tower, indoor and outdoor pools at the Activity Center, gym, stores, restaurant, lovely grounds. Comfortable beds. Full kitchen.

The View!!!

We are returning guests! We are no strangers to Portofino. This has become our go to unit. First, the VIEW! Second, we feel the owner is very invested in the experience and feedback of their guests. We have witnessed the upgrades over the years, along with most any improvements suggested. Either way, we love this unit and will be back!

Amazing Views

The Portofino Resort is gorgeous in itself - but this room was incredible! Access to the beach & pool/hot tub was easy! & the pool was heated! The views from the balcony were breathtaking. It was a perfect way to start the morning with a cup of coffee. There was a nice round table , perfect for family dinner & games after. Updated kitchen appliances!

Annual vacation

We had the best time in Pensacola this year. This resort had everything we could have imagined. The view was spectacular. We were on the beach or in the pool everyday. Close to everything, yet far enough away from the bustle to truly relax. As we live in a resort town with business and rental homes of our own we wanted away from the hustle and bustle. we loved this place more than any others we have stayed at in the area. Thank you!!

Very disappointing

We’ve stayed @ Portofino resort before and loved it! This unit was dirty when we arrived. We got into the unit @. 5:30. I contacted the owner, he said they were busy because it was New Year’s Day. No one contacted us about late check-in or that the unit would not be ready at our designated time of 5pm. The cleaning crew arrived at 7pm and left at 8:30 pm. Overall the furniture was very uncomfortable, Beds are super hard and the king in the Master sinks in the middle. The linens were hard and stiff. The living room furniture is very small. The large rug in the photos showcasing the unit is no longer there, it was gone. The floor was so dirty we had to wear shoes the entire time, or our feet would turn black. I tried to find a mop to clean. It was so dirty and old it wouldn’t have helped. The oven mitts were disgusting and super dirty. We did not use them. It was very uncomfortable and we’ll never rent this unit again! We actually couldn’t wait to leave. Since it was paid for we stayed. The dryer vent has a hole in it and lent has built up so much it is clogged from the wall to the dryer (which is a fire hazard). It was the reason our clothes took forever to dry. The comforter and shams for the beds that were on the bed when we arrived unmade were out right back on the beds. We took them off and used our own blankets & pillows (since we drove we had them for back up). The owner never reached out to see if the unit was cleaned properly and if everything was okay. The only e-mail we received was to let us know the unit was available for another night if we decided to stay. Portofino overall is a beautiful property with lots of activities to do with the family. The views from the 20th floor of this unit are amazing g and it’s the only thing that made it worth the trip. The unit needs updating and much TLC. If they would put more into it and take care of their guest it could be a beautiful vacation. Our Family will never stay in this unit again. To the owners, I took pictures of every detail listed above, which I’ll email you so you can see for yourself. If you don’t live close to check your unit, the cleaning company you employ to care for this unit. Isn’t doing you a service! I’m not one to complain. But the unit was in sad shape! Good luck
