Ideally located in the heart of the historic center of the beautiful city of Aix en Provence, between the Place des 3 Ormeaux, Place Richelme (Market Square), and the Place des Prêcheurs, very nice and spacious apartment of 70 m2, full charming, overlooking a beautiful square planted with plane trees, very quiet (pedestrian) and not overlooked, including a beautiful living room of 35 m2 with 2 large windows, open kitchen, beautiful room of 22 m2 with a King Size bed (180 cm) benefiting from 2 windows with corner office and air-conditioning, toilet separated, bathroom.
Tomettes throughout the apartment, fireplaces, beautiful volumes (3.20 meters under ceiling), clear and calm.
Ideal for two, it is also possible to stay at 4 by using the sofa bed of the living room.

Great location!

We had a great time in Aix-en-Provence! The location of the apartment was great and literally in the center of everything. The beds were a little firm for me, but I am sure that is a personal preference. Other than that, we loved the quaintness of the property, but with modern conveniences!

Wonderful Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the apartment! It is a short walk from Cours Mirabeau and even shorter to some of the other markets.We enjoyed how light and bright the apartment is as well as how larg and open it is.Our check in was quick and any questions were quickly answered. We also appreciate how close the Monop’ is—a 1 minute walk or less!We were cautious going dow the couple of steps to the bathroom and toilette room and the lovely bathtub was awkward for an old lady to get out of! (Not a problem with some assistance.)We really enjoyed our 6 nights and would stay again in a heartbeat!

Great Location, Questionable Accomodations

Pros -Fabulous Location -100 meters from Place Richelme -Abundant shops, restaurants, Marche -High Ceilings, Large Rooms -Great Large Windows, overlooking plaza -Small Monoprix market, less than 50m around corner -Hosts are very responsive -Quiet Pedestrian area Cons -Photos don’t show access to bedroom & bathroom -Steps down to bedrooms & bathroom require great attention to navigate. A misstep in the middle of the night could be catastrophic. Should have grab bars -To be fair, age & structure of building defies making access better. But photos should have shown these steps and the very funky WC. WC is “finished” using chipboard/particle board, that had been sanded and coated with polycoat. Very industrial looking. These photos would have been a deal breaker -There was no nightlight in the hallway to the bathroom, where there are 3 steps up and 3 steps down. We went to the hardware store (close by!), and fixed up a night light hanging from an extension cord from the door. Fnky! Bathtub/Shower was difficult to navigate. We should have noticed this in the photos. Our mistake. -Grab bars should be in place, doubly so for anyone with stability issues at all. -Stove/Range top seems to have a mind of its own, stopping heating while cooking. -Lighting is a little slim, especially in the kitchen area. -Spacious, but feeling was cold, hard & spartan. No rugs on the floor to soften the space. -We booked 6 nights, left after 4 nights -Not Comfy -No Response from Host
