Chalet 100m from the sea in a closed and secure residential PRL leisure park with badge for the portal, it consists of 2 bedrooms including 1 BED 140X190CM, 1 BED GIGOGNE and 1 bunk bed with blankets and pillows, a fully equipped kitchen, fridge , oven, senséo, cleaning products under the sink for cleaning when you leave, separate toilet, bathroom with shower and double sink, living room with sofa and television. A beautiful wooden terrace, covered and sea view. Access to the heated and covered swimming pool from April to September. Outdoor children's play area and a bowling alley.
Ideally located, 2 steps from the Landing beaches, 1km from the port of GRANDCAMP MAISY, Pointe du Hoc, the fish market caught at night, the American cemetery, the Normandy museum….

Disappointing finish

The property was basic but fine. The key was not there when we arrived and no notification email was sent beforehand so we had to ‘guess’ how to get onto the site. The washing machine door leaked, the shower was blocked, the bread knife was broken and the WiFi was non-existent. We replaced the bread knife and when we reported to the owner that we broke two plates, we were informed that they were antique plates (they were just old) and that we had broken a curtain rail and scratched a table (we hadn’t) and were promptly charged. On leaving the campsite I was bellowed at by a belligerent man that I was driving the wrong way (I wasn’t). The entire episode has left a sour taste in my mouth and I won’t be revisiting vrbo as the vetting process is clearly failing.

Visite des lieux du débarquement

Idéalement situé pour visiter les sites incontournables du débarquement, proche de la mer. Et la piscine couverte est parfaite pour les enfants, surtout en cas de meteo pluvieuse. En revanche le wifi annoncé est limité à une seule connexion qui est très moyenne (videos impossibles)

Poche de la mer

Chalet très bien équipé et situé nous avons passés un très bon séjour la proximité de la mer grande piscine couverte et chauffée proche du chalet propriétaire agréable et a l écoute en cas de besoin proche des plages du débarquement et musée pour ceux qui sont intéressés proche du centre ville nous avons pu faire nos courses à pied petit village très sympa

Super privé ligging van mooi chalet

Het chalet is super gelegen in het hart van Normandië. Alle invasiestranden zijn goed bereikbaar maar ook andere bezienswaardigheden. Het strand van Grandcamp Maisy is super met een leuk vlot in de zee en allerlei mogelijkheden voor huur van bootjes etc. Er is een nadeel en dat is de wifi verbinding die is niet overal even goed. Ook die van het chalet deed het niet altijd goed dit is met puber kinderen niet altijd even gemakkelijk. Verder heeft het chalet alles wat je nodig hebt.

Prachtig huis op een mooie plek vlakbij zee.

We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in het mooie huis van Fred en Celine. Het huis is goed verzorgd. Het contact met de eigenaars was heel goed en prettig. Ze reageerden snel bij vragen. Kortom, een hele fijne vakantie in Grandcamp-Maisy!

Nette Unterkunft mit allem,was man so braucht.Corona-bedingt mussten wir Bettwäsche/Handtücher selber mitbringen. Kommunikation mit den Vermietern immer sehr nett und prompt.
