Had a wonderful time as always! First and foremost LOVE that it is pet friendly! Appreciate that there are kayaks and paddle boards available to be used. Great having the ice machine and a fast coffee maker…lol. Thank you for another year of making memories!
My husband and I enjoyed the cottage, very tranquil location with everything you need to enjoy "up-north" living. Our host Adam, was wonderful to rent from and even provided us with great information on boat rentals etc Loved our stay and hope to return.
The cabin itself was very clean and cozy. Kids had fun swimming off dock and sunning on lily pad. Lake was great!! The only complaint is I guess there was a new water filter but it either didn’t work or water is super hard because the shower water had very strong sulfur iron smell. Other then that it was a nice place.
The cottage was cute and the water was great for swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding. It was fairly windy when we were there but we will still able to enjoy the lake. The kitchen was well stocked and there was a nice selection of puzzles and games for down time. The kayaks and paddle boards are stored in the garage so be prepared to carry them down to the water and back. The dock was nice, with steps that made it easy to get in and out of the water. The water was clear and the swimming area was not weedy, which was important to my 12 year old daughter! The bunk room is a separate building but only a few steps from the door to the house. There is no bathroom in the bunkhouse and I felt comfortable leaving the cottage door unlocked in case a late night bathroom visit was needed.
Lake views where beautiful.. had everything from kitchen to the lake anyone could ask for! Had couple questions for the host after we arrived and got back to us very quickly with the answer we were looking for! Very pleasant place to stay on dead end rd. Very peaceful place to stay! And very close to town for food/drinks or if even forgot something for the trip! I would recommend staying here to friends or family!
Fantastic property! First time renting a house on the lake since we sold our place there. This home has everything you need and more, we had been use to having all our own stuff and did not know what to expect. They have games, stuff for the lake, and lots of great areas to relax. The kids love these the bunkhouse as they are teenagers and starting high school. Favorite part was our daughter found a hammock that was just like the one she had! She almost cried as that was something so special to her- we set it up, same lake just a different view. Thanks for making the entire process so easy for us- we can’t wait to comeback. We are definitely going to look at scheduling a stay once every season…it was nice to back at our “summer home” and seeing all our friends and family at the lake.
Before our week-long stay started, Adam was incredibly helpful, friendly, and communicated better than any host I've had before. The property is awesome: the view of the lake is spectacular, the deck and 6-person table are perfect for meals, the backyard and fire pit area is well-cared for, and the dock is spacious and in great shape. The kayaks were clean and fun to use. The cottage itself left some to be desired. The place overall was very clean, but some of the "deeper" areas (cabinets, drawers, etc.) were a bit messy and much of the dishware could have been cleaner. The kitchen is pretty small with not much counter space, and we were forced to rearrange/put away several things to be able to more easily cook and fully open the coffee maker and garbage can. However, it is very well equipped with appliances and cookware. With the size of the place, I couldn't imagine staying there with another couple, let alone a family - I think it would only work if you spent almost all of your time outside and only did simple cooking. However, the living room is cozy, well-decorated, and has comfortable seating. The little fireplace was a great feature, too. The water pressure is very bad, and you can't really shower and have a faucet on at the same time. We also didn't have hot water for the last 2.5 days of our stay, but these things happen and Adam did his best to resolve it. Overall, I think the place is good for a 2-4 day stay if you spend almost all of the time outside

Thank you for staying with us, and for the kind words about the view, deck, dock and fire pit. We’re glad the kayaks and the cozy living room were highlights.
You’re right about the water, and we’re sorry it affected your week. Well water up north has been a a steep learning curve for us. We found the newer and larger filters clog much quicker later in the season, which caused the low pressure. They’re now replaced monthly and purchased in 2 packs. The hot water outage traced back to a chimney cap damaged by a falling log, which let the wind blow out the recently replaced pilot light. That has been repaired. Thank you for your patience while we sorted it out.
The cottage is cozy by design, and many of our guests return year after year for exactly that lake-cabin feel. We appreciate the feedback and hope to see you again
Absolutely wonderful stay! Everything was exactly as advertised. The cabin was clean and comfortable with great views and a fantastic ninja coffee maker. The host was wonderfully communicative. We especially loved the kayaks, it is such a beautiful lake.
We enjoyed a relaxing stay with our dog and kayaking on the lake. The cabin and surrounding area were as described. It is a beautiful spot on the lake. We would also recommend a hike on the Moccasin Lake Trail which allows dogs.
The cabin is comfortable with room to spread out. We found everything we needed during our stay. The lake is beautiful with a rocky bottom nice for swimming. The bunkhouse is cozy for movies and sleeping. This was our second stay and it only improved
We love this place! Great views. Cozy cabin. The kids love the bunk house. We stay here every summer. Great host. Great communication. Highly recommended!
Great place! Cute little cottage with a great view! Kids loved having their own bunkhouse. Very accommodating host. Would (and are already booked to) stay again next year!
