Speedy responses from the host, property was clean, only complaint is that I'm very sensitive to scents and the plug-in air "fresheners" were offensive and lingered with my belongings the rest of the trip. I unplugged them but the place retained the fragrance - it would be best to eliminate those--it makes me think that there are smells that need covering up and some people are allergic to the chemicals. The host delivered an extension cord when the plug behind the bed was only 2-prong and even brought a box of decaf coffee pods. Thank you.
We loved the fireplace and the 2 bedrooms and the kitchen which we used every day.
We would have liked a garbage disposal but that was ok. There was no stopper for the tub and one of us wanted a bath.
The outside light on the house behind the bedroom close to the kitchen side was on all night and prevented the bedroom from being dark despite closing the blinds.
House was clean and comfortable. The house was located near shopping and food. Neighborhood was quite with very little traffic.
Would highly recommend the property for your visit to the area.
Home was in very good condition, it was decorated nicely and was sparkling clean. The host was attentive. The exterior door light was out and someone came quickly to fix it. The kitchen had almost everything I needed. I just needed to borrow a 9 x 13 glass baking pan and a cheese grater from my daughter. I would highly recommend this rental and would return here in the future.
This was a great place to recover for a month from transplant surgery. Super clean, nice kitchen and appliances, Bedrooms and bathroom were nice and clean. Laundry on site was super important for us and didn't disappoint. There is traffic as noted in other reviews, but we slept well and I'm a really light sleeper. I felt very safe there. Roku tv in living and both bedrooms. Communication was excellent. It's a duplex, but didn't hear anything through the walls because the way it's laid out is excellent privacy. It's about 25 minutes to downtown Legacy Good Sam. There's a couple routes to downtown, so if there's traffic, GPS would reroute to a beautiful back road near the Pittock mansion. Excellent shopping centers nearby, I would not hesitate to rent again. I left a pillow and they kept it for me until we came back to town (they even fluffed it and put in a bag) Stunning roses that bloomed while we were there. Thank you so much!
The place was fine. As advertised. Location was good for my needs though the street is quite busy. Communications with owner were good. I wanted to extend my stay and she was helpful and accomodating.
Larger than the photos. Nicely decorated with sufficient cookware in the kitchen. Plenty of clean towels. And Comfortable beds. Pull out sofa was also comfortable. Parking spot was generously sized that offered shade in the hot sun. Only at the end of our trip did we discover the switch to simply turn on the gas fireplace. Bedrooms are away from the from so noise from the street was not heard but you could hear it from the living room which wasn’t a huge deal for us. Had a great time located here.
Fantastic experience! I will book again and again!
I've stayed in many VRBO's over the years and this lovely home rates high on the list as one of my favorites for many reasons. First, it is absolutely beautiful, clean, updated and comfortable with every attention to detail. Comfortable beds, super soft linens, warm blankets and nice pillows. New shower with high pressure and hot water, spacious fully equipped kitchen, and comfy living room furniture with a fireplace and big screen tv. We stayed here over Thanksgiving and it truly made our holiday very special and warm and inviting.
Kim is a wonderful host, very communicative, and kind. I visit Beaverton often and hope to stay at her rental every time.
As to the street noise - do not be discouraged! I am a light sleeper and I had no trouble sleeping soundly every night. Granted, the home is located on a main road, but I found that traffic quieted down at a reasonable hour and as a bonus, the 2nd bedroom around back is extra quiet and I had zero issues with street noise.
Enjoy!!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Listing accuracy
The main issue with this property is that the photos from the listing appear to be from the unit next door. The layout is the same or similar, but the furniture, beds, carpet, etc., are not as pictured. We knew this property was at a lower cost than others in the area, but there's a few things I'd check with the host about before staying here:- The biggest issue was the beds. One was broken and being held up in the middle by a piece of wood. It immediately gave way when our friends got into bed. The second bed had very little support and the mattress sunk significantly inwards. We all slept poorly.- The furniture was not in great shape. We couldn't use 1 of the kitchen stools because it was missing a foot and wasn't safe to sit on. There was at least one kitchen table chair that was so loose I thought it would come apart when getting up from sitting in it.There were some less serious issues:- About half of the light bulbs in the hallway light fixture and the bathroom light fixture were out, so the lighting was just OK.- The lamps in the second bedroom were unplugged when we go there, and I had to stretch a lot to find the outlets and plug them in behind the bed.- The keypad to get in is a little confusing; it has numbers that change places each time you use it. I understand it's probably for safety reasons but it doesn't feel accessible. - Some of the blinds don't open.- There were no check out instructions.I've contacted the host about the main issues.
A two bedroom/one bath unit in a duplex on a somewhat busy street. The unit had a bit of a lived-in look but it was clean, all of appliances worked, it was quiet. The owner was very pleasant to deal with. The beds were comfortable. Probably not the best place to host a garden party but if you are looking for a comfortable and relaxing place to serve as a home base while in the area put this place on your short list. I would happily stay here again.
The place was a nice place to stay, very comfortable and added to the enjoyment of our trip. It was nicely furnished and had lots of kitchen items for cooking. The rental was very comfortable, the rooms were decent size, the beds were comfortable to sleep on and we found the book of local places very handy. The location was very convenient with lots of places to go within a very short distance of the property. I would stay here again.
I stayed with my daughter and two teenage grandsons. We were very pleased with our stay. Everything was clean and just like the picture exhibited it to be. We cooked, played games and watched television. All the amenities needed for meals including spices etc. Even a full oven. As a bonus one grandson attended prom while we were there and needed a last minute boutenere. I went into the yard and found the last tulip of the season made him one. There was tape in drawer and oddly enough a pink plastic ribbon hanging on the fence. I was the hero. The host was available when needed by phone. We would definitely stay again.
