Vacation with peace of mind at Diamond Beach! This beautiful, Gulf-front condo offers views of the water, a private balcony, and a deluxe swimming pool with a hot tub and winding waterslides. Spend your days soaking up the sunshine and walking down the sandy beach just below.

After a fun-filled day in the sand, the kitchen makes it easy to cook your favorite meals and settle down for the night. Pop some popcorn and watch a movie on TV. Don't worry about sandy clothes, as this condo also has a private washer/dryer! Falling asleep is always a breeze, because the tide will lull you to sleep.

When you're not out on the beach, visit The Strand Historic District to shop, dine, and tour the museums and galleries. Those looking for outdoor adventure can head over to Moody Gardens to learn about exotic marine life, hit the waterslides at Schlitterbahn Waterpark, or step onto Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier for all sorts of fun. You can also try your luck at fishing off of Galveston Fishing Pier with the locals!

Exactly what we were looking for

Stayed there with wife and 3 kiddos (17yo,15yo, 10yo). We were looking for a place on Galveston island with a little bit bigger pools and lazy river and amenities for my older kids. This place was awesome! This was our 8th beach trip as a family and the first time we have ever stayed in a place that did not smell like mildue. Amenities and condo were all as advertised. Love the location as it was close to activities on rainy days. Ice maker on fridge did not work after the first day and there was no lock on the guest bathroom but these were small things in the midst of a 5star stay. Would stay here again in a heartbeat and mostly will book this place again for next summer! Thanks for hosting us in such a great unit! All that’s left now is to apply the aloe!

Just Right

We really enjoyed our stay here. Kids loved the bunk bed/trundle combo. Enough family-friendly amenities, you don't have to leave the resort unless you want to. Highly recommend.

Perfect

We had the best time at this resort. We hardly wanted to leave since we had so much fun at the pools, arcade, and theatre. The unit was very comfortable, we all slept so good. We went on a fishing charter and had no problem cooking up our fish because the kitchen was so well stocked. If your going to Galveston, I highly recommend this rental.

Galveston Getaway

The Diamond Beach property was a great choice for our 3 day stay in Galveston. The condo was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The pools and lazy river were wonderful and we had so much fun in the game room. The location and view were perfect! Only a few drawbacks… there was no dishwasher and there is a really nice soaker tub but it was broken (had to use the shower instead.) Still, I would definitely recommend the property to others who will be visiting the area.

Spring Break Recharge

This condo was prefect for our family of 3 for a Spring Break get away. We played on the beach, enjoyed the hot tubs, and splashed in the indoor heated pool as the outdoor water was still a bit chilly in March. The game room was a great escape for the kiddo and the location was conveniently located near Moody Gardens, restaurants, and the Sea Wall. The beds were most comfortable and the living spaces were also comfortable and welcoming. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home away from home with us!

Great place to stay

This was a great condo. There were a few prior reviews mentioning the dryer didn’t work. However, this seems to be resolved. Both washer and dryer worked well and appeared to be new units. They did provide dish soap and sponge for dishes since the dishwasher didn’t work. The amenities at the condo were great. The pool was still closed due to the storm cleanup, but the lazy river was open and so was the indoor pool which was nice. They had a great play area for my son and staff was very nice and helpful. Overall, this was a great place to stay and would definitely recommend.

Great Locaation and Admenities but the Unit Needs a Bit of TLC.

There is a huge 3 tier pool and a lazy river and right on the beach. The facility has a theater room, indoor pool and gym as well. The property facility itself looks very well maintained. The unit itself looks like it has been a bit neglected. The walls are very dinged up and we could not get any lights or fan to work in the living room. We tried every switch in the unit and none worked for those. One by the living room did nothing so assume it is suppose to be that one. The kitchen was missing some basics, like hot pads for the oven. We just used a towel after we saw there there none in the drawer. The dryer does work now and so does the dishwasher. I know that was a issue in the past. On first arrival the unit looked clean but as we settled in we saw more and more issues. The largest was the master shower, there was a huge clump of hair stuck to the wall and we wore socks because our feet were getting black bottoms due to the tile being dirty. Overall great stay, not sure I would stay in this unit again due to the issues but would for sure stay in the facility itself again. Diamond Beach is a beautiful property.

Best place to stay in Galveston!

This was the perfect spot for 3 adults to stay and enjoy all the amenities that Diamond Beach offers. You can watch the sunrise from the condo, you can access the beach, enjoy the lazy river and pools and you aren’t too far from the Galveston attractions. The master bedroom king bed is the most comfortable bed we have ever had in a condo rental. The resort was nearly empty due to it being off season and we loved the quiet and peace. The recliners in the living room were so relaxing and the view out the window was awesome. The sinks in the bathrooms are really high for a short person like us. The tile floor in the master shower is extremely slick, slippery and dangerous. Although the shower itself is big and has 2 shower heads. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would rent this exact condo again.

Indoor pool disappointing

This was third time at this resort, and all three condos have been nice but two of three stays got the same story-"the indoor pool heater broke yesterday". At this time of year, this was the main activity planned with our grandchildren. Also remote to main TV in room was not working and took greater than 24 hours to get fixed. Too expensive for us not to have these amenities and asked to be reimbursed for part of stay but have not heard back. Others staying there with children were likewise disappointed. Contact (phone text) at one point told us indoor pool was not heated pool and we knew this to be false. Let down significantly copared to our first visit to Diamond Beach.

Diamond Beach #516

We loved our stay in room #516. The amenities were fantastic and the staff was very helpful. We loved the location of the condo. We would definitely like to return again next year. Just a few notes but not any deal breakers: 1. The 2 tvs in the bedrooms would not work right. The master bedroom tv I think it was a cable thing and the other bedroom was missing a remote. 2. The front bathroom would not let us fill the tub( my daughter likes baths). 3. Also the ceiling above the first bathroom leaked about a gallon of water in the evening hours of Monday. We called maintenance and gave a report. We found a bucket and placed it under the leak. 4. The fire alarm also went off like 2 times on Sunday night. Everything always has a few hiccups but I still rated our experience overall a 10 out of 10. Thank you for everything!

Overall good, with a few issues

Overall property was great with extensive pools and beach access. Condo itself was clean and spacious. Ice machine in fridge was broken and the bathtub option in shower/bath was broken, leaving effectively two showers and no bath. Fixing these issues would make us eager to return.

Needs help

This property needs maintenance and some inexpensive updates. Balcony furniture hugely Uncomfortable!! Door to balcony difficult for a weightlifting teen age grandson to slide open and closed. Hotel type coffee maker makes 5 cups. This property needs a little love!!

Replace shower head and get another remote control

The showerhead in the master bathroom has a big black corrosion or mildew spot on it. Needs to be cleaned or replaced. Also, both bedrooms have a Xfinity remote control, but the living room does not?! Call Xfinity and they will promptly give you another remote for the main box in the living room. Without it, it seems impossible to go the Xfinity guide and (local) channels on the main TV!!

Disappointed in this condo

This was not our first stay at Diamond Beach but we have been in other condos and during summer. While the property/lobby/condo were clean, the lazy river and pools were filthy. We were there for a week bit only in 516 from Fri-Sun when we got our grandson and switched to a 2 br. It wasnt until Saturday that the pools were finally cleaned.My biggest issue was the thermostat was controlled by property manager, not us. It would clearly show where I set it but it would not reach that temp until midnight. Then it appeared by 7 AM they would auto reset it to 73 and we could not override it. My body temperature does not regulate correctly and 73 for me may as well have been 90. I had sweat pouring off me. The condo itself is needing paint and the toilet paper holder in guest bath was broken and under the sink.On the plus side the beds were comfortable with great pillows and living room furniture was nice. Management was very responsive when we reached out, especially after we were 2 hours down the road and hubby realized he left items in the nightstand and we turned around and went back.

Money over people

Location , Location, location....... if this was a normal LOCATION the star would be 1 or 2 at the most! The shower has mold on the walls and the shower head .. Didnt have a broom and for a visitor staying 7 days not acceptable. The amount of supplies for someone spending that kind of money , you would think you would have the red carpet rolled out for you or a door mat painted red ! A 1/4 bottle of dish soap , 1 roll of toilet paper per restroom , icemaker not working , 3 to 4 trash bags , main bedroom sink splashes everywhere, pillows has strains on them . Oyeah 1 bigger pot .The complex was cutting down palm trees near pool ,so pool was closed .That could've been relayed to perspective buyers . I hope this helps the next visitor because im quit sure they will repair problems and will have more hospitality . Find a reason to Love someone or something. EZ

Gorgeous!!!

My children were exceptionally satisfied with this condo!!! Beds were comfy and everything was stocked and cleaned. Beautiful facilty and everyone was so nice!!!!!! We will definitely be back!!!!
