This 6th floor one-bedroom unit featured on HGTV's Beachfront Bargain Hunt Season 17, Episode 13 - is perfect for your next Galveston getaway! Sleeps 4 guests with king-sized bed in the bedroom and sleeper sofa in the living room.

Modern beach décor and updates throughout this unit. Living room with wide-open view of the Gulf and sleeper sofa. Fully stocked kitchen with stainless appliances, breakfast bar, full-size frig, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and Keurig to make your morning coffee. Spacious bedroom with king bed and flat screen tv. Very beautiful, modern, clean condo with views of the ocean and the lazy river. Comfy bed. Mini store right across the street. Washer and dryer in unit (and laundry soap) are very helpful.

Great Secret Condo at Diamond Beach

This is the second time my husband and I rented this condo. It is perfect for us--has a balcony with a lovely view of the gulf, a comfy bed, and a well-appointed kitchen and bathroom. The owners have a special touch--all lights are labeled, there are enough essentials to get through a late night arrival, and the towels are folded in cute ways. We will definitely return!

Diamond Beach

This property is not being maintained. Only one elevator available which made for long waits. Pool not available, tiles falling, We always enjoyed the swim up bar in the lazy river, but it was closed. Our unit was OK, but no rug on the floor and TV in bedroom was unusable.

Beautiful and comfortable

We were in Galveston for our daughter's wedding and came in 3 days early. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook, the condo was clean and inviting and there were plenty of fluffy towels which was huge because the last VRBO we rented gave us one very thin towel each for a week. Communication with the owner was great for the most part. She notified us prior to arrival of street closures due to filming of 1923 which was helpful and appreciated. The front desk clerk told us when we arrived the pools were closed and she was surprised that we had not been informed of this ahead of time. The only suggestion I would make is newer, thicker pillows on the beds. They are very flat and even stacking the two on the bed plus one from the bunk did not help. Typically we travel with our own pillows and didn't which I was regretting after the first night. The biggest plus was the mattress was very comfortable and the room dark so once you fell asleep, it was easy to sleep in. Great amenities on property, especially for someone who may be traveling with children. Large game room.Beach toys in condo. The spa on property was incredible. Hubby and I both had a one hour massage while we were there. We thought there would be somewhere to eat while on property but it may have been by the pools that were closed and inaccessible. We had to leave the property for meals but there are lots great of places in Galveston to eat. Overall I would recommend and we will be back next year.

Unfortunately our stay was cut short because of Beryl . The host was great at answering our questions and concerns in a very timely manner. The unit was roomy and worked well with our small children. We were sad to leave this beautiful and fun property early. We will definitely return.

Enjoyable overall with potential for greatness

Our experience was mixed overall. The condo mostly lived up to its description, it had amenities like a cozy king bed and well-stocked kitchen. The highlight was the breathtaking view from the balcony which overlooked the property and provided a stunning view of the ocean. The air conditioning worked flawlessly. There were several aspects that fell short of expectations. The bunk bed felt unstable and swayed with movement. Dust accumulation was noticeable in various areas, the couch was stained, several furniture pieces needed replacing. A large accumulation of mold around the balcony door seal and on the sliding door exterior was concerning. Despite these shortcomings, the condo facilities were mostly well-maintained. The game room with free arcade games was a hit, although some machines showed their age. The fitness room, impressed with its ocean view. During our visit none of the onsite bars or restaurants were open. The children's play area had a strong paint smell and could have been cleaner. The outdoor grounds, pools, and lazy river were in excellent condition but the splash area wasn’t working. The location's proximity to the beach was excellent with easy beach access. Our stay was enjoyable overall, with potential for greatness given some updates and more thorough cleaning. We would consider returning to this location but might explore different condos unless improvements are made. With a little maintenance, this could be an outstanding vacation spot.

Overall we had a great time, loved the place. However the bathtub wouldn’t hold water good bc the stopper was broken. & the sofa could use an upgrade, makes a lot of noise and not that comfortable but overall it was a nice place.

Amazing property!

This was the perfect condo for myself and my 6 year old. It actually seemed much bigger than it looked in the pictures. I loved the balcony, the view was incredible. The pool area and lazy river were huge and very well maintained. It rained much of the time that we were there, but on rainy days we enjoyed the large indoor pool. It was actually pretty fun to watch the storm through the large windows by the indoor pool from the second floor. We had such a wonderful stay.

Nice condo. Diamond Beach Resort has a lot of entertainment . The owner Jessica was quick to respond. The only negative thing I can write about is the balcony is small.We would, and do plan on staying there again. Cheers!!

Diamond Beach Resort

We had a great stay at this property. It was a great spot away from all of the busyness of Galveston and we were thankful to not have to cross the road to reach the beach like other areas on the seawall. The kids loved the arcade and indoor pool.
