Such a nice, remote place to stay. Kitchen was nicely stocked with all the pots and pans needed for cooking. We would definitely come back and stay there again.
We had a great time staying here on a trip to see Yellowstone National Park. Deer and elk both walked down the mountain each afternoon to graze. We hope to come back!
The views from the cabin are awesome!
The cabin had everything we needed except the WiFi was a little sketchy.
Under normal circumstances it wouldn’t matter but my daughters had to do virtual school.
Cabin needs a little updating but was comfortable.
We would visit again if we make it back to Cody,
Just a spectacular home with an even more spectacular view. From check in to check out, everything was smooth and efficient. The home was well equipped. If I was to be a little picky, I would say that maybe a mini fridge in the upstairs portion would be convenient. This is a 5+ star home for sure. The perfect location for excursions to Cody and the Yellowstone eastern gate.
We really enjoyed this home. It seems like you are in such a remote area with a lot of privacy but it is only a 15 minute drive to Cody. It's a little under an hour to YNP and the dirt road was well maintained and made for a scenic, easy shortcut. The house has a lot of rustic charm and the sunrise over the reservoir was beautiful. At night you can see so many stars and planets. Kitchen had everything you could need including spices for cooking, toaster for bagels, coffee maker (Keurig), etc. Only saw the folks who live on the property one time and really enjoyed our conversation. All in all it was exactly what we were looking for and we had a wonderful vacation.
We loved the house and location was beautiful and perfect…but the house and property definitely needs some attention. We had to plunge the sink every time we washed dishes and toilet was hard to flush and faucets in tubs were in bad shape. Outside could use some love… it it is a beautiful place and location. Nice family that live there. And the decks could use some updates. A swing or something would be amazing also! We did enjoy our stay but for that money spent, really didn’t appreciate having to plunge the sink every time for sure. Nice place!
The doubt, some of the best views in the Cody area.
The cabin was roomy and clean but the outside areas around
cabin were not. There are residents living below so we were asked to take care and respect their space. We would not have rented the space had we realized this. I have learned to read the fine print. Last thing I want to do while on vacation, in a rental house, is to stress about being quiet.

Great out-of-town Home with lot's of space and views
This property had alot to like for our 10 night stay in Cody! We wanted to be out of town with some land and views. We got that at a fair value! Sunrise and sunsets were glorious from the decks. Frequently saw deer, sandhill cranes, and sage grouse. The guys went flyfishing almost every day at a public acess on 2 miles away. The property was quite spacious especially in the living spaces allowing the 4 of us plenty of room. The kitchen was well equipped with every possible pan and gadget. The only thing missing were ice trays so we had to buy ice for the freezer. We finally found ice trays in a odd closet we didn't even open until the last day. The furniture in the living spaces was comfortable and beds good. Pillows throughout were terrible and desperately need replacing. They were mostly flat and hard. The bathroom fixtures need replacing as they dripped constantly but we always had hotwater and everything worked fine. The toilet in the master should be replaced. It functioned but the stains were really bad. It was very warm while we were there and we used the AC units in the house which worked perfectly with the fans to cool things down. Overall, it was a good value for us and we enjoyed our stay.
The property was great! It was a perfect place away from town but close enough to get to town in less than 15 minutes. We unfortunately did not get to spend very much time in the cabin because we went to Yellowstone every day and was there from early morning until late evening.
This place was amazing we loved the cabin The view is beautiful lots of wildlife mule deer elk whitetail deer we are planning another trip out there again in the future
A true cabin experience with a breathtaking Wyoming view! The cabin was comfortable and accommodated 4 couples with a few toddlers. We accessed Cody, Wapiti Valley, Cooke City, Yellowstone and Thermopolis area. Beautiful country, we drove a bit but the cabin was a great location to go from.
Our experience in Wyoming lived up to everything we hoped it would be and this cabin as our home base was perfect! It was stocked with everything we needed (except our food and our stuff!). There was all the essentials and more for all of our home cooked meals, and the first floor set up was excellent for our family to spreadout, yet relax together. The property is about 20 minutes from town, which we only frequented for gas and food, otherwise we explored Yellowstone, Cedar Mountain, Shoshone National Forest, and even made it to Montana! I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking to getaway and explore Wyoming.
