Our stay at this house in Mauritius had both enjoyable aspects and some clear drawbacks. On the positive side, the pool is excellent and the overall interior design is very সনদর—tasteful and inviting. The outdoor area is great for relaxing, and the house has a nice aesthetic overall.However, there were some issues upon arrival. The house was not clean when we checked in. After we raised this, it was cleaned again promptly, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, some of the furniture is quite worn, and the bed linen had a musty smell, which negatively affected the first impression.Another important point is the location. The listing is quite inaccurate, and you only receive the exact location shortly before arrival. The house is actually located outside the town, so having a car is absolutely necessary.A major downside is the noise at night. Motorbikes in particular are very loud and can be heard throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep. We strongly recommend bringing earplugs.Overall, the house has potential thanks to its nice design and pool, but improvements are needed in terms of cleanliness, furniture condition, and transparency regarding the location.
