Our stay at LGI was wonderful! The home is absolutely amazing, clean, comfortable, and beautifully renovated! It is the perfect distance to the beach with a beautiful view of the marina so you get the best of both sunrise and sunset. The hosts communicated clear instructions from the moment of booking to the very end of our trip. The kitchen had everything we needed, from cookware, to extra paper towels, trash bags, and so much more. The golf cart was a great addition. Traveling via the ferry was a breeze as well. We really enjoyed our time and will definitely be back!

While it may not have a view of the Gulf, this unit is close to a huge ice machine and to the Ferry which takes runs back and forth to the mainland. The golf cart will allow you to see the Ocean and beach in a matter of minutes. The proximity to the ferry is very helpful.

LGI is one of my favorite places. We had a wonderful Spring break…all because of the location, beach, renovated condo, golf cart, ferry, grill, sun, ocean….I could go on and on.

This is a beautiful island to stay on, the Hideaway beach club gives you a taste to island life. We have been before and was looking forward to our trip. It is a shame the host did not pre warn that there is still lots of work happening around their property and the island itself, letting us know would have prepared us for the shock we got on arrival.

We were a little nervous about staying on an island without shops or restaurants, but the host immediately put us at ease and gave us all the right tips to make the experience enjoyable and stress-free.From the moment you step onto the island, the experience begins. The ferry captain and even the people arriving with you create such a welcoming, friendly atmosphere, it’s relaxing from the very start and truly unlike anything we’ve experienced before. They’ve done an amazing job creating a peaceful getaway with everything you need to feel comfortable and completely unwind. It really feels like a special little escape from the everyday. There is still some rebuilding and construction happening around the island, but it didn’t take away from the experience at all and certainly wouldn’t discourage us from returning. We absolutely loved our stay and would come back in a heartbeat this place is a hidden gem and a truly unforgettable getaway.

We have stayed at Hideaway many times since 2011 and understand the realities of older buildings and island living. Unfortunately, this unit did not match the expectations created by being described as “newly renovated” and “rebuilt completely from the studs” after Hurricane Ian.There were positives: the condo is beautifully decorated and was exceptionally clean. I am very sensitive to dust and was genuinely impressed by how dust-free it was. However, we encountered numerous issues. The A/C initially wasn’t cooling, although it did improve after troubleshooting and replacing thermostat batteries ourselves. The master-bedroom ceiling fan never worked properly, and obtaining a floor fan became a multi-day coordination issue that ultimately took time away from our vacation. The owner was courteous, apologized, contacted service people and offered a discount. Our concern was not a lack of willingness to help, but the number of issues requiring attention in a unit represented as a completed studs-up renovation.More concerning, the loft smoke alarm was sitting loose rather than installed, an electrical switch was taped off with a handwritten warning about wiring, portions of the loft ceiling were visibly unfinished, and the screened lanai had multiple damaged areas. There were also several maintenance/finishing issues throughout the unit.We love LGI and Hideaway and will return, but would not choose this unit again unless these issues were addressed.

Highly Reccomend

My family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed this renovated condo on LGI. It had all the things we needed for our vacation. The condo was very clean and spacious. The 6 seater golf cart was an added bonus that made traveling the island easier for us as well.

Weekend Getaway

We found this rental to be a nice quiet end of summer getaway. We enjoyed the golf cart trips to the beach where we spent most of the day. We made sure to return each evening to watch the beautiful sunsets. The kayaks were put to good use to explore the ocean and the beach umbrellas provided much needed shade. We truly enjoyed the quiet island and treasured family time. We would recommend this property to others for a beach vacation.

2nd time around

This is our 2nd time staying here and it was just as great if not better than the 1st. We've thought of getting a house but the convenience of the ferry, parking and golf cart has lured us back again. Always clean, has everything you need! Owners are superb at communication.

R & R at it’s best

Our family has been visiting Little Gasparilla Island over 24 years. We try to come at least twice a year. This was our first stay in this condo and let me just say how GREAT this place is. The 6 passenger golf cart was a HUGE plus. The unit is nicely decorated and very comfortable. They also have games for family game night. No need to bring beach chairs, umbrellas or beach toys all is included. Pack light, you really only need bathing suits!!! We will definitely be returning!!!

Beautifully remodeled condo with all of the amenities!

This was our 4th year coming to Little Gasparilla and staying at Hideaway Bay. We have stayed in a different condo each year and this one was by far the most nicely and tastefully remodeled. It had all of the amenities that you could possibly want, both inside the condo and for activities outdoors. The 6-passenger golf cart was great and worked perfectly for our family.

Neil, That is very kind and humbling- with our recent changes we hoped to make this condo a great choice for guests looking to experience the island for the first (or 20th time)! Glad you found it to be just that. Do come back soon!
