The house worked great for our group. Kitchen was spacious and well provisioned. Bedrooms were very nice. Whole house seems recently remodeled. We were also able to fit three vehicles in the driveway, which was helpful during an otherwise difficult parking weekend for Chaska.

The house worked great for us. It was conveniently located. We were in town for a wedding at the Glasshaus. This location was an easy drive and allowed us to share a home with our adult children and dogs, and make a weekend gathering for our family. We walked to restaurants, bakeries and shops from the home. We enjoyed sitting on the porch. There is a lovely park a short walk away. The home was clean and comfortable. The interior of the home has been renovated and complete with amenities. We brought some camp chairs with us so we could sit out in the back yard. We knew from another review that there were no outside chairs at the house. Also, while the yard is fenced, there is an opening between the house and the garage. The host was easy to work with and check in/out went smoothly. We would choose this house again if traveling to Chakska.

Property on the inside was much beyond curb appeal. Backyard was lovely (lawn chairs would be a great addition). Sunny porch for coffee in the morning was so nice. Bathrooms/bedrooms accommodating and clean. Location is outstanding! So many places to walk from the home…restaurant across the street, hiking/biking trails, park area. Perfect for wedding guests at Bavaria Downs…12 min away. Exceeded our expectations.

The house is beautiful and welcoming. It had everything we needed. More over, the front porch was salted multiple times to ensure no slipping during the snowy weather. The owners are very attentive and their website makes it easy to navigate our stay. Thank you!!

Good fit and location for us

We found this place to fit our family's needs very well. The home was clean and very welcoming. We have many family members living in nearby towns which made it easy for us to see them often. We really loved having the enclosed front porch as it provided a place for our kids to play. The bedrooms were comfy and cozy. There were just enough bathrooms for our party of 3 adults and 3 children ages 6, 3, 1. The dispensers of soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion were a pleasant surprise. We did find a few things missing in terms of kitchen ware and cleaning items, (would have loved having a broom and mop on occasion), but for the most part the home is well stocked. Along with the tv in the living room, there were tvs in the 2 bigger bedrooms. We aren't very tech savvy so we weren't able use the bedroom tvs, but played youtube shows for the kids on the living room tv. The laundry pair came in handy; however, we found that the washer had a slight smell of mildew probably as a result of the door being closed when not in use or too much liquid detergent being used per wash. We like the detergent sheets provided as that is what we use at home. The backyard is fenced which we needed for our dog. The yard crew only mows so we moved the dead branches that fell off to the side of the yard. We used the new grill a couple of times. We bought utensils for it as there weren't any yet. We hope to find this home available when we return to visit family in the future.
