Located on the deep waters of the Assateague Channel with a view of the Assateague Lighthouse. This two bedroom, one bath condo with spectacular views is the perfect spot for fishing, boating, kayaking, bird watching, crabbing from your private dock, soaking up the sun and salt air breezes. This sleeps up to six people with one queen bed, one double, and two twin beds. If you love fishing, sitting on the porch, listening to the waterfowl, or watching the Assateague ponies or dolphins swimming by, this is where you want to be on your vacation. Very comfortable, clean and bright, with central air-conditioning and heat. Newly re-modeled with original artwork and beach decor. Dock your boat in our 21 foot boat slip and clean your fish at one of the two fish cleaning stations. Enjoy your catch of the day while stargazing on the floating dock . Great place to stay during the off season

The property is near the state park, and the ponies made several appearances for photo ops. The beach was chilly but great for walking. Restaurants can be tricky to find at the beginning of the week until they open full-time for the summer. Overall, it was a relaxing and quiet place to stay.

Perfect set up

Annual Mother/Daughter trip

My mother and I have been traveling to Chincoteague together for a few years now. We were delighted when we discovered Steve's place at the Sea Tag. It is a perfect little space on the water. It is comfortable, inviting, very clean, and you can't beat the view! We love this place and will continue to come back year after year!

Little oasis

What a nice location. Especially sitting out back overlooking the water. We saw horses, jellyfish, bald eagles, and the usual seagulls and cormorants. We fished off the pier and caught a croaker. Others were catching crabs. We would come back here again.

Great Find!

The property was just as described. The views were absolutely amazing and the location was great- a short ride to the beach and restaurants. My son and husband rented scooters and rode them into town.

Last minute Chincoteague vacation

We had never been to Chincoteague before. Our stay was perfect. The condo was clean and neat. I would describe this as the quieter side of the island. We fished, crabbed, kayaked and took in the beautiful scenery with peace and quiet right outside out back door. Just what we needed to do before the school year starts.

Our happy place!

We loved our stay!! There were lots of THOUGHTFUL additions like hooks in the shower, a dehumidifier so towels dried, and a picnic table that can be easily wiped off. When we weren't out on our boat or at the ocean we were on the large dock fishing or crabbing. The deep water floating dock is a bonus for boat owners! We have stayed in a few different places on East Side Road and would definitely come back to this one :)

A Boater's Dream

A Boaters Dream was all that and more! Stop searching and book this place now! This immaculately clean, beautifully located unit was absolutely perfect for our small adult party. This thoughtfully refurbished unit was well apportioned, centrally located, and offered exquisite water views. Steve was a gracious host and thoughtful communicator. This unit also hit with the details as well such as thoughtful happy hour ware. This unit exceeded our expectations!

Great Location

Photos don’t really show what the outside of the building looks like and initially I was surprised it looked like a renovated motel. However, the inside is super cute, well decorated, and clean. I biked around the entire island and was hard pressed to find another property so perfectly situated next to the water in this price range. This was perfect for myself and my 3 kids ages 20, 18 and 16. As one reviewer mentioned, the front door opens to one of the bedrooms but that wasn’t an issue for me since my kids were older. Not sure that I would like it w younger kids tho. Loved that the dock was right out the back door, unit had everything we needed, Steve was super responsive and we had absolutely no issues. Thank you, Steve, for your hospitality!

Sea Tag 12

The listing indicates washer/dryer when, in fact, there was no w/d but there was a laundry at the end of the facility requiring quarters to use that we didn't bring with us. The beds were terribly lumpy causing backaches and lack of sleep. The floors needed vacuuming that I completed as there was too much sand and debris on all the floors. The view of the harbor was terrific from the unit giving us feelings of calm. It is a hassle bringing your own towels/sheets since we were tired from the trip and had to make the beds before retiring. We both became ill upon arrival and spent the entire week unable to enjoy the beach, shops or any tours. Bummer!

Beautiful location on the water with great views. It is a lovely quiet area of the island. You will have to drive into town although it would be an easy ride on a bicycle. The unit was very clean although there was high humidity inside the unit. The dehumidifier was able to keep up appropriately as long as you remember to empty the bucket. Communication with host was extremely easy and very prompt. I enjoyed having the household closing expectations listed in the unit. All of the light switches were labeled and easy to find. There was plenty of space for 4 adults to have their own beds as well as a bunk for a youngster. Overall well laid out and newly updated unit in a lovely location. Nice touches: tv in each room and wireless charger in queen room. Great deck chairs and table on covered porch overlooking the water.

Quiet/clean

My overall experience was decent. I did contact the owner concerning the mini split unit in the main/master bedroom not working properly. Fortunately, he was in town working on another unit in the complex so he came to our unit to rectify the problem. Unfortunately, the mini split was not blowing as it should have been. The other bedroom was blowing very well when we turned up the fan to put out more heat. The owner was insisting that the unit in the master was fine. Although, my friend and I were in disagreement with him, since it wasn’t blowing heat when turned up. The room did get warm enough after a couple hours. Other than that, our experience was acceptable.
