Winchester Lodge sits on a beautiful wooded lot in the Shotgun area of Island Park, it's about 40 minutes to the West entrance of Yellowstone. Enjoy comfortable furnishings throughout the cabin. Towels and linens are provided. Living room has large windows to see the surrounding beauty of the area. Satellite T.V and DVD player is provided for your entertainment. Gas fireplace in living room to keep you warm and cozy in the colder weather.

Kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, fridge, stove with oven, small appliances, pots & pans, dishes and utensils. The large dining table seats a large number of guests so have the family over for homemade meals. There's a washer and dryer on the bottom level with detergent provided for those dusty days playing on the trails.

Along with being only minutes away from West Yellowstone and the West entrance in Yellowstone National Park, there are numerous other activities that you can enjoy. There is a boat rental just ten miles away, that you can rent boats to float down the Henry's Fork of the Snake River. Moose in the River is a common sighting on this adventure, it is enjoyable for all ages. Just twenty minutes south, there are two waterfalls you can see - Upper and Lower Mesa Falls. They are both breathtaking.

​​​​​​​**This rental home is subject to an Idaho Department of Environmental Quality Boil Water Advisory. Winchester Lodge is located on the Island Park Water Company system that is experiencing water contamination due to current disrepair. This will be undergoing new management to get the systems up to date. Until further notice, guests will be required to boil water for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and preparing food. We highly suggest bringing bottled water.
