About this property

Cotentin country house

Rescue from a ruin in 2014.
Blow of heart for this house which returns from afar! We put all our savings and a lot of energy into it.
No regrets, however: we are very proud of the result!
This typical house in the north of Cotentin is located in a hamlet of three houses (including a farm), very quiet. View of the fields adjacent to the garden, and also of the sea, in the distance (Islands of Saint Marcouf, coasts of Manche and Calvados). The shops are 5 minutes by car (Quettehou). Very pretty beaches at 15 / 20mn. The prettiest are well hidden: it is a real privilege for those who know how to discover them!
Nearby: Landing beaches (Utah Beach) Saint Vaast la Hougue, Tatihou Island (UNESCO classified sites), Barfleur, Cap de la Hague, Nez de Jobourg, Cherbourg (City of the sea, submarines, Mont Saint Michel.
The accommodation consists of a large room on the ground floor: fitted and well-equipped kitchen, sofa bed (for additional sleeping 2 people), table + 6 chairs, office area, television. Large terrace facing bay window facing east, garden furniture, deckchairs, BBQ.
Upstairs, two bedrooms with double beds each + a fireside chair and a mattress (for extra beds). A bathroom (bath with shower, hairdryer) and a separate toilet. Heating: electric convectors + wood stove (wood provided): charming evenings by the fireplace!
Sheets, towels and tea towels are provided at no extra charge.
Come and enjoy a region that is too little known!

Super Haus mit viel Charme. Gemütlich und sehr netter freundlicher Vermieter. Hat uns 3 Stunden früher reingelassener, da wir aus Deutschland besser durchgekommen sind als gedacht. Schöner Kamin und Grundstück mit Meerblick (mit Fernglas).. Top Unterkunft!Zentral gelegen um sich die Museen und Sehenswürdigkeiten anzusehen. Waren über Weihnachten und Silvester dort. Für unseren Hund endlich mal ein ruhiges Silvester ohne Angst. Top. Schöne Strandabschnitte die zu Spaziergängen und toben am Strand einladen. Gute Anbindung für Einkäufe und Gastronomie. Auch mit wenigen Sprachkenntnissen machbar.

Un très beau séjour dans une très belle région

Une charmante location idéalement située pour profiter des plages de sable et des centres d'intérêt du secteur. La maison comporte 3 locations et a été rénovée avec beaucoup de soin. Le logement est bien fourni en vaisselle, draps et serviettes. La terrasse privée idéalement orientée et le grand jardin sont un vrai atout. Totalement au calme, on s'endort au son des vaches normandes. Nous reviendrons certainement.

Nicher sur les hauteurs de Crasville, dans un petit hameau de 3/4 maisons, vous serez au calme. Je viens dans la région depuis 1976 (mes parents y avait une maison) et je découvre encore des endroits bien cachés. Cette région c'est mon paradis.

Gîte très bien équipé avec une excellente literie (ce n'est pas négligeable) dans un petit hameau au calme à peu de distance de toute commodités. Il faut noter que ce gîte fait partie d'un ensemble de 3 avec terrain commun non clôturé (important si on vient avec des animaux, il faut le savoir). De bonnes vacances, paisibles avec des lieux à découvrir à distance raisonnable. A conseiller.
