This lovely and pleasant little blue house nicknamed 'the blue island' is located 40 meters from the sea, on the landing coast, south exposure, enclosed grounds and views of the sea.

It is very well equipped and comfortable.

The beach is huge, notice to lovers of ballads and sea bathing, without forgetting the fishermen.

You will have the opportunity to visit many sites on the landing beaches (Utah Beach, Sainte Mère Eglise (1st town in France liberated), Vauban constructions (Saint Vaast la Hougue and others), Mont Saint Michel and many other places to visit ....

Pleasant quiet vacation

Cozy house with charm right next to the beach. Very friendly people, beautiful surroundings and lots of relaxation. We look forward to vacationing here again.

Perfect for nature lovers

The house is old and cozy and contains everything you need. Very nice with the enclosed garden when you travel with a dog. Lovely area for walks. The nicest and no nonsense landlady you will ever find😁

A hidden gem

Took some finding.the house is tucked away.we used what 3 words to find it. PREVENTABLE.SESAME.RUMS will take you straight there.the lady turned up as soon as i rang.very nice lady who showed us the house.nipping clean.toilet shower downstairs next to well equiped kitchen except a nice butter knife and pizza wheel would make it outstanding.living room very comfortable with wifi and a smart box with utube which we could watch english films.bedrooms with toilet upstairs very comfortable.loved the blinds which keep it dark all night.sitting out in the garden was nice.well sheltered from any wind.had a walk along beachfront.nice views so all in all very pleasent and worth the money.

Madame Claudine was there to meet us with a big beautiful smile. The cottage was all we expected, really well laid out with all amenities. We did have a peer cut which turned out to caused by a faulty dishwasher, and we had some problems with the oven. But lo and behold next day there was a new dishwasher AND a new oven, what service. The area is dilightful with so many places to visit, and the moving experience regarding the D Day landings was overpowering. Thank you Claudine fir being the the perfect host. Das Haus hat eine super Lage - fast direkt am Meer. Der Meerblick aus dem Kinderzimmer ist sehr schön. Man kann von hier aus sehr gut das Cotentin kennenlernen und Touren planen. Wir haben unsere Ausflüge sehr genossen.Es sind zwar einige Dinge im Haus erneuert worden, aber die Einrichtung/Bäder/ Küche sind in die Jahre gekommen. Das Haus /die Küche ist ok ausgestattet, allerdings mit vielen zusammengesuchten, alten Sachen. Die Sauberkeit würde ich nach meinen Maßstäben als gerade noch ausreichend bewerten. Nicht sehr schön ist der „Garten“, wenn man ihn als solches überhaupt benennen kann. Die Plastik-Gartenmöbel sind schmutzig und teilweise kaputt. Die Auflagen sind sehr alt. Die Schattenplätze sind nicht ausreichend. Was aber sehr lobenswert ist, ist der Kontakt zu Claudine - sie hat umgehend einen zweiten Sonnenschirm aufgrund unserer Nachfrage gebracht. Es gibt keinen Außenwasseranschluss/Gartenschlauch, um sich oder den Hund nach dem Strand abzuduschen. Auch hier ist Claudine sehr bemüht, denn sie teilte mit, das dies ggf. noch nachgerüstet werden soll.Das Haus kann am besten als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge genutzt werden. Sich dort oder im Garten aufzuhalten, war nichts für uns.

Das Haus hält, was die Bilder versprechen. Da auch das Wetter mitspielte, war unser Aufenthalt durch nichts beeinträchtigt. Ein Tipp, wenn man den Kamin nutzt: nicht die (runden!) Holzteile (Pressholz) aus dem Supermarkt verwenden, sondern die klassischen Holzscheite (gibt es schräg gegenüber in einem Baumarkt namens LaMaison).Die Vermieterin war sehr nett und hat uns mit einer Flasche Cidre begrüßt.

Perfekte " blaue Insel "

Wir hatten einen perfekten Urlaub in diesem schönen Haus! Die Lage, die Nähe zum schönen Strand - besser geht es kaum. Im Garten hat man seine Ruhe und man kann sich, oder mittels Grill lecker Würstchen bräunen.Der Fernseher, der noch auf den Fotos der Hausbeschreibung zu sehen ist, ist gegen einen modernen Smart-Tv ausgetauscht worden und es gibt ein stabiles Wlan / Lan. Dadurch gibt es auch deutsches Programm zum Beispiel über Prime-live.Claudine ist eine tolle Gastgeberin, welche uns herzlich empfangen und genauso auch wieder verabschiedet hat. Auch mit unserem untrainierten Schulfranzösisch haben wir uns miteinander verstanden. Stand der Dinge -- Gerne im nächsten Jahr eine Wiederholung!

Schönes Haus fast am Strand

Unsere Gastgeberin zeigte uns mit Freude und Freundlichkeit das schöne, helle Haus, das sehr gut ausgestattet ist. Aufgrund anderer Erfahrung möchte ich erwähnen, dass eine Toilette zwischen den beiden im OG gelegenen Schlafzimmern liegt! Man geht vom Haus aus links oder rechts einige Meter und ist am Sandstrand mit extrem vielen verschiedenen Muschelschalen. Die Umgebung bietet außer etlichen Museen und Bunkerresten auch noch mehr Urlaubsmöglichkeiten auf und mit dem Wasser. Wir waren rundherum zufrieden.

Urlaub in der Normandie

Hallo liebe Normandie Urlauber, wir haben im Mai zwei Wochen im blauen Haus in der Normandie Urlaub gemacht Wer das Meer und die französische Gastfreundschaft liebt ist dort genau richtig. Wir hatten den Strand am frühen Morgen tatsächlich für uns alleine so das unser Hund Charly endlos laufen konnte. Jedes Problemchen wurde von unserer Gastgeberin Claudine sofort gelöst.Ich wünsche allen eine schöne Zeit in Saint-Marcouf.

Meeresrauschen täglich!

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus war rundum gelungen! Die Einrichtung ist zweckmäßig und praktisch, und wir haben nichts vermisst. Alles war zudem sauber, was uns besonders gefreut hat. Ein großes Lob geht auch an die sehr nette Vermieterin, die sich umgehend und erfolgreich um ein kleines Problem gekümmert hat – wirklich toller Service!Ein kleines Highlight war der kleine, begrünte Hof mit Mauern, der für uns als Reisende mit Hund ideal war. Unser Vierbeiner hat sich dort sichtlich wohlgefühlt und wir konnten die Privatsphäre sehr genießen.Die Lage des Hauses ist wie im Portal beschrieben: Das Meer ist wirklich nur 40 m von der Haustür. Toller Kurzurlaub

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im blauen Haus sehr genossen. Alles war wie beschrieben,die Vermieterin sehr freundlich und herzlich. Super schöne Lage, die Nähe zum Strand ist einfach wunderbar, das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet und hat alles, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht., Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen.
