About this property

Lovely studio - centre of Ljubljana

A beautiful studio apartment in an excellent location. Situated right in the centre and very close to the river. There are many bars, restaurants and cafes near by, and the main square Presernov Trg is only a few minutes away.

There are many small galleries in the vicinity. Ljubljana has many cultural events happening throughout the year, and is a very popular tourist destination, especially during the spring and summer months.

The main river, Ljubljanica passes through the centre and is lovely for going for a walk, and there is an antiques market on Sunday morning. The old part of town also has many little boutique shops. The main market is a place for locals and tourist to buy everything from fresh fruit and vegetables to Slovenian honey and is excellent on a Saturday morning.

The castle, which is the fort on a hill overlooking the whole city, surrounded by nature is a 20min walk uphill, and provides stunning views of Ljubljana and its red rooftops. A short drive from Ljubljana there is Bled, a beautiful lake in central Slovenia, a must-see for any visitor to the country.

Not far are also the Alpes for those who like to go hiking or skiing, and for those more interested in beaches and the sea, the seaside is also not far and has beautiful little cities, like Piran. Come and see for yourself, you are sure to enjoy your stay!

Unser Aufenthalt in Ljubljana war sehr schön und das Appartment in der Altstadt der ideale Startpunkt für unsere Touren. Die Schlüsselübergabe gestaltete sich unkompliziert und Frau Znidarsic gab uns viele Tips für Lj. Im Appartment waren alle nötigen Dinge vorhanden, Bad und Küche sehr sauber. Die Einrichtung, wie im Museum, war besonders betrachtenswert! Wir können es weiterempfehlen!

We truly loved our stay at this very well situated apartment in Ljubljana. The location could not have been better! Kristina met us with a smile even though we were about 1.5 hours late due to a delay at the airport. She showed us around and gave wonderful restaurant recommendations! The apartment is tastefully decorated, spotless and very comfortable. As the kitchen isn’t that well equipped we ate out, but seriously the restaurants were so amazing and affordable we would not have cooked in anyway! Thank you Kristina! Hope to stay again.

Kristina è molto ospitale, ci ha accolto con gentilezza e premura. La casa è comoda ed accogliente, situata in una posizione molto strategica per passeggiare nel centro storico di Ljubiana e visitare il Castello, godere del lungofiume, fermarsi ad un baretto a riposare. Il quartiere universitario dove è ubicata la casa è molto tranquillo e frequentato da giovani studenti, cosa che rende l'atmosfera serena e piacevole. Grazie Kristina.

Great Location and Host

We couldn't have been happier with our studio apartment in the center of Ljubjlana Old Town. It provided a central location for exploration of the markets, cathedrals, and museums as well as a perfect spot to be picked up by our relatives. On Sunday, a huge antique market was just steps away from our door as was a commercial boat ride. We had the entire boat to ourselves on a rainy weekday for just 8 euro each! Thank you Kristina for sharing your place with us. We appreciated the strong WIFI signal and the artsy touches all around.
