This more than a century old school house is so cool that we couldn't stop ourselves from buying it despite of all the fixing up it needs! You will be staying in a 1500sqft apartment with brand new carpet and furniture. It contains a kitchen, dining table for up to 8 or 10, living room, master suit with its own bathroom and one additional bedroom and bathroom, as well as a laundry room. This is a nice countryside getaway spot, located in the middle of Green Bay, Appleton, and Manitowoc. You will be given a digital code to enter the front entrance, and your apartment is just a few steps up, and to the right. There're two apartments in the building, we live in the other one but have our own entrance and can let you have all the privacy you need, but if you do need our assistance we will be right here to help. Most of the basement remains the same layout from when it was used as a school, except one of the classrooms was converted into a garage. The top floor is just one big open room. Please don't try to go down to the basement and other parts of the building since there are areas that still need work, but we are happy to give you a tour of the whole building if you're interested. There's plenty street parking in front of building as well. We have increased our cleaning fee recently. To ensure your health and safety we have adopted a higher standard for cleanness including disinfecting all surfaces before and after each group of guest. These practices have increased our cleaning time and costs in cleaning products.

The property was extremely spacious & well kept. It was out in the country & very peaceful. The history of the church & school was interesting also. The dishwasher was out of order which would have been nice to know ahead of time but not a big deal. The ice maker was not hooked up either. That's why we gave a 4 star rating. But the beds were really comfortable. We will definetely stay here again!

St Pat's School House
It was just right for our needs. The website states they have increased their cleaning fee, but I saw no evidence of extra cleaning. In fact, I think we were given washcloths which were quite dingy. Also dish soap was provided but bottle was dirty on the outside and dish scrubber was quite gross. I usually bring my own. So refreshing of linens would be a suggestion. The website also states a tour would be available, but we were told they do not give tours any longer. So updating of website might be helpful. The area was quite overgrown also, unlike photo on website. The bed was comfortable and our stay was quite nostalgic for my husband who attended St Pat's when it was a school, along with his siblings. I did like the chickens on the property!
Four of us women, all over 70, flew to Milwaukee and drove up to the house. We drove up to Green Bay for the Seahawks/Packers game. Sadly our Seahawks lost but the trip was great. The only issue we had was navigating using my phone. The house was great! We enjoyed walking around the grounds and checking out the cemetery. Highly recommend it if going to a game. We took the free shuttle bus from the East Town Mall in Green Bay to Lambeau And saved a lot of hassle with parking.
We stayed at this lovely place during Oshkosh 2021 and found it to be peaceful and relaxing. Nice place to slow down and breathe from the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives.
