This was our first stay at this home, but not our first stay at one of Rigoberto's properties. The house was clean, had a well stocked kitchen, and the beds were comfortable. The kids loved the game room area in the basement. We also loved the little fire pit area for the cool evenings. Our only complaint is that there was no TV in the main living space of the house. It was starting to get chilly in Manitowoc during our stay, with some days only hitting 50*, and the basement (where the only TV is) was pretty cold and not comfortable to be sitting down there to watch TV. With 5 kids in tow, a TV is a nice to have when trying to get everyone ready for the day.
Thanks for the stay!
We came up for a Packers game. This had great low-key location with easy access to I-43 to get to GB. 5 minute drive to downtown Manitowoc, found very good places to have dinner. House was very clean and had everything we needed for a great stay. Fully recommend.
Very comfortable.
Great beds
Beautiful bathrooms
Kitchen could use some additional supplies; silverware. Glasses. But we managed
Tv room is in the basement which was a bit of a hassle but also kept us from watching too much tv. 😁
Very nicely appointed and spacious property. Plenty of room for 6 people, in a convenient location, and very comfortable! A good retreat after a very large 90th birthday party.
This house is close to everything. The house was clean and cozy with plenty of room for a large family. My wife and I stayed here and was very pleased with the layout and cozyness of the house.
We didn’t use any of the appliances or cookware, but they have everything you need to make dinners and breakfast.
We will definitely stay here again next time we are in town.
Thanks for a cozy place.
Had a great stay, beds and bedrooms were clean, spacious and comfy, loved the frig… kinda weird that we couldn’t flush anything down the toilet, like, toilet paper…… also, the basement needs a dehumidifier as it was really hard to enjoy the tv and game room as the smell of old basement was overpowering. We live in a very old farmhouse. The size of the house looked small from the outside but very nice and roomy inside!
We would have liked a TV upstairs,a Garbage disposal is mandatory . We would like rails on both sides of steps since they are very steep ,It would have helped to have access to the garage since it was difficult parking for more than one car . We also called VRBO to have a fan in the lower bedroom fixed never got a call back .
The house is just what you see in the pics. Very clean and well appointed. I would definitely rent this one again. Easy to get around the area and close to our extended family’s home. Very comfortable and the beds were comfy as well . Def a thumbs up 👍
House was great! Very comfortable and clean, excellent communication with owner! Only issue was shower curtain in master bath would not stay up. Didn't ruin our stay though -- highly recommend this home.
We had a wonderful time staying at this home over Memorial Day weekend. Great location to visit area museums, the beach and parks. Five adults and two children, spacious rooms everything we needed. Excellent communication with host. There was so many things to do in the area, museums were high quality.
We enjoyed our weekend in Manitowoc. This home was beautifully decorated and very well appointed. Beds we used (only two of the 4 available) were very comfortable. Just a note about accessibility - two of the 4 bedrooms are second story and as was the tradition in older homes, the stairs are steep and narrow. Similarly, the enormous TV, game area and laundry are on the basement level with stairs. My husband and I are older folks getting wary of stairs, so we pretty much stayed on the main level which was enough for us! Just a consideration if you have mobility concerns. We thoroughly enjoyed the house - including the lovely "sun room" at the back of the house. I highly recommend this place!
Really enjoyed staying at this rental, lots of room with big beds. Everything was ready when we arrived, basement with air hockey and foosball table was great. Highly recommend.
Overall this home was nicely updated with lots of space and a stocked kitchen for preparing meals. New refrigerator, gas stove but no dishwasher or main level TV. Would definitely rent again. Great neighborhood!
Everything was neat and clean, very well decorated.
Property was very well organized and nicely stocked. The only area for improvement would be the need for a television in the main living room with local programming available. The need to go to the basement to watch television is not convenient.
We loved our stay in Manitowoc. The home was recently remodeled but it maintained its classic Tudor style. The decor was beautiful and it’s evident that the owner wanted his guests to feel very comfortable.
Property is as adorable as it appears in the listing. The location is perfect for activities in Manitowoc and Two Rivers. The only negative was the back yard was unkept. It didn’t impact our stay, but if you had kids it would be less than desirable for playing. There are so many wonderful places to eat and things to do in the area. If you are a gardener or just enjoy flowers, make sure to spend some time at West of the Lake. Ice cream lovers need to visit Cedar Crest Dairy. This was our third visit to this area and we always find something new to enjoy. This house made the perfect home base for us this year.
