Monika's property is even better in person than in the beautiful photos. This house has lots of room for the whole family to spread out. Every space is updated to perfection. The kitchen was very well stocked. The family room has an abundance of games to play, and the outdoor seating areas were wonderful, whether sitting up by the house with the outdoor lights or down by the river fire pit. The beds were all comfortable, finally the labels and instructions throughout the house were really helpful. This was our second stay and we would highly recommend Monika's property for all family get togethers.
This property was immaculate upon arrival! Communication with our host Monika was outstanding, with very prompt responses. The house was so well appointed and comfortable with everything one could need and then some. Don't hesitate to book this property, and you can thank me later! Thanks again, Monika!
Beautiful home and property! The host was wonderful. This house has everything you need. Pack a bag and enjoy everything this great little community has to offer!
Monica's home was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We were three couples staying together. The bedroom spaces were lovely with comfortable beds. There were numerous outdoor spaces to enjoy the riverside setting. The two bathrooms worked well for us as neither were directly linked to a bedroom so could be used by all.
Monica included many special touches such as sparkling waters, eggs, spices and treats.
The location of the home is perfect for accessing all the area has to offer. The trails to both Rawley's Point and Manitowoc were easy to get to from the house without having to drive to an access point.
Two Rivers is very walkable with coffee shops and dining close at hand. We would love to make a return trip!!
Our family (parents & 4 adult children) stayed for 4 nights in July '24 on the absolute hottest week of the year! Despite the oppressive heat and the even more ridiculous mosquitos, we LOVED our stay at Monika's house. The outside didn't get used as much as we had hoped but several of us were able to enjoy the pergola covered area for resting and reading (as long as the citronella candle was lit!) Inside, we loved games and meals around the large dining table, a movie in the living room with large sectional, lots of seating areas when we all wanted to find a cozy place to read or nap. From handy throw blankets to yoga mats to info about local areas to an apron in the kitchen, Monika clearly loves her house as much as her guests and it shows! We also loved having extra eggs! I had brought in all of our food and cooked most of the week (the kitchen was fully functional!) but having extra eggs on hand was such a special treat. Oh, the fans in all of the lights ... so needed with such a hot week. And, for not having central air, the units keep the place nice and cool (which we tested thoroughly). The "kids" all swam in the river and used the kayaks multiple times. It was also being so close to Lake Michigan and the fabulous beach. My husband loved the Maritime Museum in Manitowac as well and the adult children even said it was one of the best they had been to, as we've been to quite a few.
We didnt have time to utulize everything this place offers. Teens enjoyed the kayaks on the river, adults enjoyed the riverside mornings and evenings. So many different inside and outside lounge areas and plenty of available games. Amazing house in a great location. The host was super fast at responding to questions.
We stayed here for a mother daughter weekend trip and it was wonderful! The house was beautiful, plenty of room for our group and extremely clean. We used the outdoor space/patio every morning and night. Quiet neighborhood, Lots of pleasant “extras” - board games, coffee bar, nice fans, a/c, TVs, kayaks, 2 bikes. We could walk to downtown Two Rivers, restaurants, and shops. We were also in driving distance of hiking, live music and Manitowoc. We never got to use the camp fire area, too busy! Highly recommend!
This place is just beautiful! Five kayaks, beautiful fire pit down by the river, home that has everything for a relaxing stay, and quiet little area! We had a ball!!!
We had so much fun staying at this property! Usually when we’re choosing a place to stay, we choose to prioritize the property/outdoor views and the home itself. This place had it all - a beautiful outdoor space and an amazing indoor space. It’s easy to imagine staying there forever.
Monika was so attentive and accommodating to our group. The owners have thought of so many details that make any getaway perfect. They were communicative and responsive always.
I would definitely recommend staying here.
We needed a place to land for a week between a conference in Chicago and a wedding in Stevens Point, WI as we are from the Philadelphia, PA area and flying back and forth seemed silly, and unnecessarily expensive. I did what I always do when faced with such situations, I went to VRBO. I was not disappointed.
Though we had fewer people than I originally planned on, it was a great place for my husband and daughter to be able to work remotely, without getting in each other’s office calls, my Son-in-Law was able to relax and unwind during his short break between Medical school sessions, and we could visit with my Mother-in-Law and Sister-in-Law and one of her kids. The house is comfortable, the outdoor seating areas are lovely, there are plenty of bedrooms and they are all well appointed and quite comfortable. The house has great natural light, and was spotless when walked in. It’s within a nice stroll to the down town area and a short drive to Lake Michigan. For a rental, it has a very nicely kitchen. I say this last as I’m the odd one who cooks 99.999% of the time when I do a VRBO rental, so always look for a good kitchen when perusing rental possibilities. This house had a nice kitchen, great space, and a lovely water view.
We had a great week, and it was a wonderful place to transition to the intense(and intensely fun!) family wedding that followed.
This place has it all! You literally just need to pack your clothes and a toothbrush as it has amenities plus. The backyard is a great space to hang out and inside has plenty of space to rest and relax. Monika is a great host!
Monika was a great communicator- providing all the info we needed and checking in to make sure we were all settled in. The home was BEAUTIFUL! Her attention to detail was fantastic and we had everything we needed. The riverfront was perfect for a bonfire, we hung in the large living room and watched movies, enjoyed family meals in the dining room, and slept comfortably at night. We fished off the pier, explored Two Rivers and Manitowoc, and truly enjoyed ourselves. The home offers a lot of amenities- and had the weather been nicer we would have used them all. Our family would definitely go back.
