This is a beautiful property and is by far the nicest place I have ever stayed at on a fishing trip. The cottage was extremely clean and had everything we needed to prepare meals. We plan on contacting Dan next year for another fishing adventure. Also the hot tub was great after reeling in king salmon all day.

What a gem! Hidden Haven is a great stay. We played Whistling Straights and instead of staying with the crowd at the America Club, we chose Hidden Haven and we were blown away. The property is gorgeous, the sunrise over the lake was worth the fee alone. The cottage is exceptionally clean and well taken care of. Communication with the owner was flawless and everything was so easy. If you’re playing the Straights, or just want a quiet getaway, I strongly recommend Hidden Haven!

This property was perfect for four ladies to enjoy a weekend getaway! The kitchen was well stocked with most any equipment you could need. There was plenty of outdoor seating and the hot tub was wonderful. The hosts were very responsive and we'll definitely look to book again! Thank you for a wonderful place.

What a beautiful weekend! The home was clean and the kitchen was well appointed. We really enjoyed all the natural light in the house. The lake view was absolutely beautiful! This was a great place to relax, unwind, and disconnect. The hosts were responsive and communicated prior to arrival and during our stay to ensure we were comfortable. We appreciated the Kureg and coffee too! I would not hesitate to recommend! Bookworm Gardens was a great find close to the house for children and adults alike. Thank you!

This is a lovely house that was deliberately built with many little extras included to make guests feel comfortable. Everything you could need is there for a relaxing visit. The decor is light and airy - no dark pine with dead animals on the walls - kind of a relief to find this one, actually. Just a beautiful view of the lake. We used the hot tub every day and had dinner on the deck every evening we ate in. My husband grilled on the Weber - it looked brand new. It's located between 2 large state parks, and nearby Sheboygan has plenty of restaurants if you want to eat out. This is really one of the nicest places we've stayed at and would highly recommend it.

The views and seclusion are what drove the 5 star rating. This location is beautiful and so close the Whistling Straights and Sheboygan. The host was responsive and the building was well designed for the smaller space. The futon wasn’t great for an adult so that was the only consideration compared to our needs. There was a note to sanitize dishes before use which made us nervous (didn’t see this until after using dishes and rinsing without sanitizing), but no issues.

This is a very clean, well kept, new property with excellent amenities including a fully stocked kitchen, wonderful bathrooms and super comfortable beds. The host was an excellent communicator and responded to the few questions I had within minutes. Highly recommend this property that is located only a few minute drive from Whistling Straits golf course. Beautiful view of the lake with a nice fire pit, too. A

Excellent weekend getaway

We had an amazing stay at hidden haven. Kitchen is well stock and house was exceptionally clean. Fantastic view of Lake Michigan can’t wait to come back again.

Perfect location for a girls weekend

We've stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, but this lake house stands in a class of its own.From the moment we arrived, it was obvious that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. The house is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need and then some. Whether you're looking for flour, sugar, baking pans, an apron, kitchen gadgets, or cooking essentials, it's all there. It felt less like a rental and more like a home that genuinely wanted us to enjoy ourselves.The modern conveniences are equally impressive. There are more than enough outlets throughout the house, and the lighting deserves special praise. The numerous lighting and dimming options allowed us to create the perfect atmosphere whether we wanted a bright morning space or a cozy evening retreat.Every bathroom was spacious, warm, and beautifully designed. The master bathroom deserves its own paragraph. The kettle-style soaking tub felt like lying in a dream. After a day spent exploring and enjoying the lake, it became one of our favorite places to unwind.The coffee drawer and station made every morning feel like visiting a private coffee bar. Small touches like this elevated the entire experience.Outside, the amenities are just as impressive. The propane grill was spotless, fully fueled, and easily became the all-star of our trip. We used it often and appreciated how well maintained it was.The hot tub is simply magical.

Early Memorial Day getaway

Place was great inside and out. The house was bright and comfortable. Nicely decorated. The outside fire pit was a great place to hang out and look at the view of Lake Michigan!
