Paola Apartment - Antico Borgo La Torre Farmhouse

Antico Borgo La Torre is a holiday farm located in the Municipality of Reggello, 27 km south-east from the centre of Florence, in a sunny and quiet position, immersed in the green of the Tuscan countryside.
The farm is composed of two main buildings, numerous agricultural outbuildings and surrounded by a large natural garden with a small private lake. The 32 hectare private property also includes vineyards and olive groves.
Guests have at their disposal a private outdoor space, equipped with garden tables and chairs.
In the summer season a 20-m long swimming pool is available to guests with a splendid view of the lake.
There are currently nine spacious apartments with fully equipped kitchens in operation.
All apartments have a washing machine.
Guests are provided with bed linen and towels.

The 100m2 apartment ‘Paola’ is located on the 2nd floor of one of the main buildings. It consists of: a large living room with a double sofa bed, two armchairs and a sofa, a dining table and cable TV; an eat-in kitchen (4-burner gas hob, oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher) with dining table; a double bedroom and a twin bedroom; two bathrooms, one with shower / bidet / WC and one with bath / bidet / WC. The house is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, gas heating and fans in all bedrooms.

Beautiful stay in the heart of Tuscany

We have spent a terrific week in this renovated medieval place. Federica and John are super friendly and ensured that our stay is comfortable. Our 6 year old daughter was able to learn diving in the spacious pool. I took my Mountainbike to explore the area, but in hindsight I would recommend a road bike during the summer. All the trails are overgrown. Bring a Moskito net if plan to stay in July or August …

Viel Platz und leckerer Wein

Der alte Bauernhof ist ein wunderschöner Ort mit liebevoll renovierten Gebäuden, mitten in den Weinbergen auf eine Anhöhe gelegen. Trotzdem hat man Anschluss an eine kleine Ortschaft, sodass Restaurants und ein kleiner Supermarkt gut erreichbar sind. Es gibt viel Freiflächen zwischen den Gebäuden, einen großen Fussballplatz und eine Tischtennisplatte, also viel Freiraum für Kinder. Der gut gepflegte Pool mit See im Hintergrund ist traumhaft und gut beschattet durch Bäume. Das Apartment war großzügig und bot viel Platz, besondere Erwähnung verdient das schön renovierte Bad! Federica und ihr Mann sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und geben gerne Auskunft über Wanderungen und Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe. Der Chianti aus eigenem Anbau schmeckt köstlich. Es war toll, eine Führung durch die Weinberge mit John und Federica zu machen! Wir sind ein vierköpfige Familie mit 2 Teenagern und haben 10 wunderbare Tage dort verbracht. Diesen Ort können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

A piece of paradise

The tranquil and serene setting of a Tuscan working farm was so pleasurable, and we are a family with four kids. The apartment was spacious, the kitchen very functional, and the pool and ping pong table made the kids time totally enjoyable. Florence is very accessible and the nearest town, 1km, had everything we needed. Thank you to the Castellanos for a delightful stay.
