We had a wonderful stay! The host was excellent and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The property is in a great location with beautiful views, and it was very well equipped with plenty of thoughtful amenities. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place to others.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lake house. Don and Lisa were great communicators and very friendly. The property met our needs well and the location is great - don't miss the local breweries and general store! We would absolutely stay again.
My sisters and I really enjoyed our weekend stay! The house was well stocked with everything needed for our stay! We loved sitting on the porch and our view, with lots to do in the area! Don and Lisa were very accommodating and friendly and all the people in the area were friendly as well! Would stay again!
This is such a fun house in a very quiet area! We enjoyed using the fire pit and were so excited to see that camp wood was provided. We saw amazing views out over the lake including a rainbow. Perfect spot for bird lovers - we saw everything from chickadees to a bald eagle. The hosts are extremely sweet folks. We'd definitely book this rental again!
My family had a great time swimming (lake and pool) and we enjoyed the 3rd of July festivities. We also took day trips to Stoneybrook and Letchworth. Lots of things to do in the area. I spent a lot of time on the porch overlooking the lake with coffee and a book. Would definitely come back.
The view to the lake was wonderful and its a good place for a large family to stay. We did not use the stove, but the handle was broken. The towels were mismatched and old and I bought wash cloths because there were none. The pillows were old and uncomfortable. Parking was a challenge because it was on a hill and you had to be careful not to tear up the grass. The washer, dryer and dishwasher looked fairly new and we appreciated that. We did not have any major issues and it was extremely quiet during the day and at night. It was nice to have a peaceful vacation.
Room to move about very functional kitchen. 2 full bathrooms. Nice porch overlooking lake. Upper bathtub could have drained better but overall everything went very smoothly
The location was excellent and the hosts were extremely nice and hospitable. Staying here allows use of all the campground facilities (playgrounds, pool,etc..) which gave us more options for things to do during our stay! Our only complaint was with the cleanliness of the house. We had to pre-wash any dish/silverware we used (there was a dishwasher but this was still a little gross), and we noticed the floors were very dirty. Nothing was run down or in disrepair so I think just a good deep cleaning especially the floors and carpets and we wouldn't hesitate to give 5 stars all around!!
We had a great stay at this property. Ee had a party of 4 adults and 4 little girls and the kids absolutely went nuts over the separate Florida room which they turned into their clubhouse. Everything is well stocked and the wrap around deck (partially covered which was definitely a plus when it rained) was a nice addition. One thing for small kids is that this location comes with access to the amenities at the campground (indoor pool, playground, jump pad) which really can't be beat if it you can't go out on or in the lake for some reason (the little beach across the street had to close at one point due to blue green algae but not the owner's fault as it was a lake-wide problem that week). The owners were very
communicative and friendly. Definitely will consider coming back next year for another week.
The property is situated in a quiet seasonal RV Park. The view from the porch is fantastic! There is a canopy on the porch and we spent several rainy hours on the porch enjoying good conversation with family. We had two nights to enjoy a campfire in the firepit with the provided wood. Inside the clean and air conditioned house is a dining room with seating for at least 8. Comfy step down livingroom for kids to have their own space. In addition, was a sun porch with a daybed perfect for my mom. There is even a back room for storage of food and equiptment. The kitchen has lots of counter space and pots and pans (even a large corn/spaghetti pot). Their was a Kerig and a coffee maker and even a dishwasher. We used paper products mostly, but there were plates and cups and silverware etc. for at least 8 people. The washer and dryer right in the house were so convienient. The sheets and towels (even beach towels) were provided! Loved the two large bathrooms too! The grill on the deck worked well. It rained most of the week, but we rented a pontoon boat for a few hours. There is a dock for fishing right in front of the house (across the street). The other amenities like a camp store, indoor swimming pool, pontoon, row boat and kayak rentals and jump pad are at the other campground a minutes drive down the road. The owner was really nice and very helpful. All the staff at the campground were friendly. There is a small restaurant for a quick bite down the road, but I would suggest Leisures in Livonia at the top of the lake. Dress is casual and food is delicious.
To enter the campground your car needs to go up a somewhat steep hill but all our cars made it fine. Parking at the house is on a hill, but even with all the rain our cars stayed in place.
This place would make a perfect destination for families and extended families or several couples or a girls week/weekend away. Don't let the fact that it is in a campground discourage you. It was so quiet and the other campers were really friendly!!
Our family of four enjoyed a great week at this lake house. We took advantage of mini disc golf, the pool, bounce pad and kayak rentals at the campground. We loved the deck and spent a lot of time enjoying the view from it.
Our visit to New York was amazing and the vrbo was very comfortable place to stay. We are all missing the patio and the views already. The hot tub was a bonus for us. The home was very clean and the water pressure in the showers was awesome. If your looking to stay you won't be disappointed. We are already looking at new dates to come back.
This was a great find for our week in the Fingerlakes. The house was spacious with a great yard and fire pit, and directly across the street from a small lake access area / dock. It was perfect for the size of our group, which included me and my husband, our three young kids, and some family / friends that joined us. Lots of space inside and out for playing, and a great deck and hot tub too! It was a nice perk to have access to the campground amenities, including a large inside pool located at the neighboring campground less than a mile down the road. The location is great too--not only right across the street from the lake, but also within short driveable distance to some great parks / hiking areas. We'd definitely stay here again!
Great communication. Quick response. Extremely friendly. Very helpful.
Don and Lisa and their staff were so nice to be around we can’t wait until our travels bring us back to the area. The house was just as described., also Very clean. Close to everything
The openess of the rooms and yard area presented the "farmhouse" atmosphere. The interior was fresh, bright and welcoming. Accommodations inside, lakefront and extended campground activities provided relaxation and entertainment for the multi generational family that came together and created life long menories.
Absolutely wonderful! Would defiantly rent with them again. House was extremely spacious and beautiful inside. There were plenty of bedrooms and space, including bunk beds for the children. Just a short skip across the street and you’re at the beautiful clean lake! My children had a blast swimming, and also enjoying the fireplace in the front yard for some s’mores! House included all necessities like, (towels, cups, plates etc). Nice front deck porch for some easy relaxing without the sun beaming on you. We also used the grill to cook our dinner a few nights of our stay which was also amazing! Geneseo just a short 15 min drive if you need anything at all. 5/5. Defiantly recommended to anyone looking for a family get away!
