Guests enjoy being right next to skiing, sledding, walking and hiking trails within walking distance of downtown Valdez, shops, restaurants, museums, tours and much more. Wildlife is abundant right outside your door. Delicious baked goods make our continental breakfast something to look forward to.

This place made our trip! It was more affordable than the cabins we were looking at and the view was 100 times better. Our host even notified us of the northern lights which I thought was so sweet. I would definitely stay there again.

Home away from home

We were warmly greeted by our host on arrival and instantly felt at home walking through the door. The rooms were clean, spacious and well furnished. Everything about it was lovely: the bed was incredibly comfortable, the breakfast and home made cake were a lovely touch and the view was to die for. We stayed three nights and if we didn’t already have plans, I would have stayed longer. Valdez is a pretty, quiet and relaxed place to spend time. I highly recommend Valdez and this property.

This is a very clean place with an excellent view! We felt very safe the entire time during our stay. A sweet neighbor was coming over with homemade jam for our hosts and was very friendly. So close to the harbor, restaurants, downtown museum, and convention center. Not a far drive to the hatchery where we saw lots of wildlife every day. Self check-in was easy. We enjoyed the birds by our bedroom window, even heard 2 different kind of owls on our Merlin app. The hosts were easy to communicate with and quick in response time. The snickerdoodle cookies were very yummy and we enjoyed the mango canned drinks too. Nice hosts with clear instructions. It was a peaceful stay. We'd stay there again if in the area.

This was the perfect place for us. The rental was spacious and clean. Krista left us baked goods and goodies for breakfast. Beautiful views, great location and communication. We loved staying here.

We loved this property. It was quiet & comfortable. You can tell that the owners put care into every detail. The coffee bar and “continental breakfast” provided were lovely, the entire place was perfectly clean, and the bed was comfortable. We’ll definitely be back!

Fabulous space. Super comfy bed. Great porch area with outside seating. Great communication with host and flexible with our late check in time. Adorable extra touches of baked goods, snacks and travel size items you may have forgotten.

we had a great time and the peoperty was very usable. My only imput is regarding the beds- the queen bed was too soft and not very commfortable, and none of the blow up beds worked- they leaked. Our hostess Christa was extremely helpful and accomodating.

Outstanding Hospitality!

My husband and I are a teacher couple in the Interior of Alaska and we very much enjoyed our two night stay at Krista and Lee’s home. You have the privacy of your own entrance and patio with a beautiful view. The bed was super comfortable and the hospitality was to die for! We LOVED the complimentary breakfast items and cake. 10/10 would recommend.

Very nice place to stay. Hosts are very kind and bake-good were made and left for us during the stay. The place is the bottom floor of the hosts house, and you can hear the hosts walking around upstairs (but it wasn’t super loud). The only thing I wish they had were curtains for the windows. In the spring and summer in Alaska the sun is up most of the day and night, and not having curtains and just blinds, the apartment was very bright all the time and hard to sleep/stay asleep.

Fantastic Property

We loved staying here. This place has a fantastic view! Very easy to access and so many great amenities. The hosts were very easy to communicate with. So many nice touches in the space. Great continental breakfast choices, and delicious cookies. I love the comfortable space. It felt like home away from home. Wish we could have stayed longer. I would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you so much. The bed and sitting area were very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and well equipped. Beautiful artwork too.

Clean, comfortable, and everything you need!

This room was PERFECT for our stay in Valdez. We stayed 3 nights. The room was incredibly clean which is very important to me and bed was very comfortable! There was a microwave, toaster, kuerig machine with several coffee pods available to use and the host stocked the fridge with fresh milk, yogurts and other things! The room had really everything we could need with so many special touches. My ONLY feedback would be to install blackout curtains for the summer months. Sometimes it was hard to sleep because it was light out all night. I would 1000% stay here again.

Terrific Place to Stay in Valdez!

My wife and I stayed in this lovely little oasis in Valdez for two nights nights in September 2022. Mice medium memory foam mattress in the queen bed, nice sitting area, coffee/cocoa/tea nook with a Keurig and microwave. We were left a nice little evening brownie snack, as well as lemon poppy seed muffins for the next morning. The bathroom was well appointed and laid out, with optional toiletries available for a small fee should you forget something. Tuck in the back of town, it was only 5 minutes from everything downtown, but quiet and secluded and just up on the hillside at the back of the neighborhood.
