Great Location

I stayed here with my husband and 2 young children. We had such a great time at the beach and were super close to the activities at Baytowne Warf and Sandestin. The Tops'l staff was very helpful and kind. The tram service brought us to the beach access point right from our front door which is so convenient when lugging beach chairs and small children. We would stay here again.

Great Location

This property is located within a larger community that has so much to offer. The Tops'l staff was friendly and helpful to us. The tram service drove us directly from our front door down to the beach access point and back which was super convenient. The proximity to the pool was appreciated by our kids and proximity to the gym was appreciated by my husband. We had a great stay here and would come back.

Pool access

Our stay was wonderful… I believe the only thing that needs to be clarified is the pool access. There was no documentation stating which pool we had access to. Even though there was a pool right out our back door we didn’t have access to it. The only pool we had access to was by the beach which was about 1/2 mile away by tram, which is ok but I had to make several calls to scenic stays and Vacasa to figure it out

Just what we were looking for!

This townhome was perfect for my family’s visit. It was ample space for us, very clean and right by the pool which was perfect for my toddler. The two bedrooms supplied good space and very comfy beds. We also enjoyed the privacy of the outdoor space. The backyard allowed for playtime and blowing bubbles when we needed a pool break. We also enjoyed walks around the property. We didn’t take advantage of the tram to the beach as we met local family at some of our favorite beach access points. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the owner checking in on us to make sure everything was going well. Thank you and we’d love to stay again sometime in the future!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay at this spacious and clean townhouse. The community is private and quiet. The beach was a 10 min walk. The unit itself was well stocked with all appliances and cookware necessary. Beach and pools were free access, but other amenities at Tops'l were additional fees. Any questions we had were quickly answered by the property manager through email.

Disappointing

We chose this rental because it offered privacy and spaciousness of a home with resort amenities. It seemed to have something special for each of us to enjoy; tennis and swimming for our tween boys; a fitness center for my husband, and a spa for me. It looked very family friendly with plenty to do if we wanted a break from the beach or if the weather was not permitting. Unfortunately, we were all really let down with our experience at Tops'l/Vacasa. Upon check-in, we were told that renters of this unit, who do not rent through Vacasa were not allowed access to any of the listed amenities. After multiple phone calls to ScenicStays, and then eventually the owner, we were told we could use the outdoor pools. It was not a family friendly environment either. It felt more like a retirement community with neighbors who were constantly annoyed with our presence. We kept to ourselves and tried not to bother anyone. The townhouse itself was sufficient and exactly as pictured, but would not rent again.
