Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was great! We loved having the table outside to be able to sit in the evenings and have some meals together. We loved the windows over the dining room table, it stormed during our stay and we loved listening to the rain hit the windows. My only complaint would be that the listing said there was a gas grill and we got there to a charcoal grill. We like charcoal better but we prepped for the gas.

It is so soft and not supportive at all. We stayed two weeks. In the second week, my husband could not sleep on it because it made his back very painful. We also got a lot of bug bites on the bed. Other than that, it is a good place to stay.

Reviewer Comments: Overall, the location was great and the cleaning was what to be expected from a back to back rental. There was a non stop waterleak under the bathroom cabinet. The worst part of this rental was there was a continous prescence os small roaches in the home. The infestation was primarily in and around the kitchen. I should have paid attention to the previous reviews that spoke to the bad roach issue.

Easy access to the beachside amenities. We were disappointed with the quality of the furnishings. All dining room chairs and barstools were replaced with metal chairs. Coffee table and TV stand in livingroom looked like they were purchased from a thrift shop. Queen bed in Master is in need of a new mattress but was sufficient. Mattresses in 2nd bedroom have no support whatsoever. The gas BBQ on patio had been removed. Management promised us a new one but in the 2 months we were there it never came.We did receive cushions for metal chairs and management was quick to provide other equipment we required. I feel that this property would be much more appreciated if the owner upgraded the beds and replaced the tables in the living room. A fresh coat of paint would also make the property more desirable.Overall we were satisfied with our stay but would prefer better furnishings next time we visit.

Several issues on this property , cockroaches upstairs And downstairs ,light fixtures on master bedroom hanging ,parking is terrible too many golf carts in the area , not enough parking .guest needs to be given at least 1 parking spot .We park on the grass coz we cannot park anywhere and we were given a citation ticket . I been going to this same place for 10 years so far this is the only place I’ve rented that has least update inside and too many issues .very disappointed .

We are sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction with the property. Our properties is on a quarterly spray plan inside and out . This is Florida and we do get palmetto bugs. The parking in the beach walk villas has always been a first come first serve, however each unit has is allotted two parking spots. they may not always be directly in front of the unit though, if someone has already parked there. There is plenty of parking throughout the complex though. We 're working with the owners on upgrading the property a and taking care of any issues, including new flooring that was just put in after your departure. We look to the opportunity to earn back your return business.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great, right in Sandestin so it was close to everything. The place could use some updates but was overall enjoyable. My 2 complaints is that there was a fruit fly issue while we were there, so that needs to be worked on. Also, there are many things that needed to be added to that condo for you to be able to enjoy most of the things they offer. For instance, there is a washing machine and dryer, but no detergent offered, there are pans, but not Pam to spray them with, etc. While I understand not being able to provide everything, those are 2 simple things that would've made our stay a lot easier. It is hard to ask people to buy things like detergent and Pam, when they will only use a short amount for their stay, and it is too much effort to bring home with them. I would also recommend adding more trash bags. We only had 2 for 3 days, and we were struggling with finding places to put garbage. Overall, for the price and the location it is worth a stay.

While we do provide starter packs for all guests, which include a dishwasher pack, laundry detergent, two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, a roll of paper towels, two trash bags, a small bottle of dish detergent, hand and body soap bars, and small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and hand lotion, it is necessary for you to bring your own items if you will need more than we provide during your stay, which we state on our contract. While the amount provided works for most guests, so guests who stay longer may need additional items. We unfortunately do not provide any sort of food products, including cooking spray and spices, due to FDA regulations and Covid-19. We're thrilled you enjoyed your stay and hope to have you back again soon!

Good, but could use some sprucing up.

Overall we had a great trip to Miramar Beach/Destin. The condo was spacious for our family of 5 and the property manager was responsive to my questions. The property had everything we needed in the kitchen and enough paper products for the week. The place is a little dingy however. The throw rug was very dirty, couch and chair could use a good cleaning as well. I don’t think it would take much to spruce it up a little. Overall it was still a great trip and the place worked well.

It is a bit dated and the kitchen is small, but overall all it is comfortable and served us nicely for the week.

Opening the backyard sliding door is imposible. The TV in the family room is tiny we couldnt even enjoy family time there. There wasn't enough couch space for all of us to sit together either. Beds were old and flimsy. Actual light in our room did not work had to use the lamp. I just felt it was SUPPPER updated

A Sweet Labor Day Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My experience was awesome. My son is stationed in Pensacola, Fla for school with the Coast Guard. I am always going where he is. It was only a 4.5 hr drive and loved every minute of it. My daughter and 2 granddaughters left on Friday and checked out on Monday morning. We enjoyed the beach and even went Parasailing. Now that was the most fun part. We enjoyed the condo we stayed in. It was equipped with everything we needed except extra trash bags and that's the only thing I was missing from home. The house was the best.

Reviewer Comments: condo was very dirty lots of dust and marks on the walls that were easily removed, I ended up cleaning as much as I could myself both couch and chair are broken in living room. Bar stools in living room need replacing Lack of glasses, silverware wine glasses mold on shower liner in guest bath TV in master didn't work lack of netflicks on TV TV is living is so old picture is bad as is the sound mold in master bath shower curtain dust on fans was rather amazing stains and dirt on carpeting all rugs were stained and dirty vacuum didn't' work one burner on stove didn't work others were so tilted we had difficulty cooking on them My biggest complaint is that we spent the same amount of money on this condo as my parents did through another company and their condo was fantastic as was my sisters. My parents was 5090 beach walk I can't remember my sisters. Both of these condos were the same square footage as our Over all we were very disappointed in the entire condo We didn't complain at the time because we didn't want to go through the trouble of moving. We had so little time in the sun I would really like a refund of at lease half of our rent I will not recommend your company to anyone

Dear Ms. Smith, We thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on this villa. I will certainly communicate this to the owner. We wish that we would have known specifically about the housekeeping issues since we have a full time housekeeping department. We also like to get photos of any issues so we can address this with the housekeepers. We would have certainly had housekeeping come back over. We also have a full time maintenance department. Again, if we had been made aware we would have sent them over immediately. Typically before a winter guest arrives we do a deep cleaning of all of our properties. We were not able to do a deep clean in this unit since it has been completely booked since October. We housed Hurricane Michael evacuees in this property and they departed the day you arrived. A deep clean typically takes 2 to 3 days so there was not enough time to accomplish this task. Now that it has slowed down a bit, we have gone in and cleaned everything thoroughly. I have also reached out to the owner to replace the in the unit and she is agreeable. Again, we do appreciate your feedback and we are working diligently to upgrade the unit to Platinum Vacations standards. We hope that you would give us another opportunity and we are ofering a 10% discount on your next stay. We hope to hear from you again soon. Regards,

As we are from panama city and our home was destroyed from hurricane michael, we have been incredibly impressed by the property managements ability to find rebtals for us on a monthly basis until our home is fixed. Reviewer Comments: When we got there the management company hadn’t done a walk through to make sure the place was cleaned properly. Thankfully it was, but someone from the management company walked in about 20 minutes after we arrived. He explained the situation and said if we need anything call the management company. I told him we were looking for the grill that’s in the pictures of the property, he said call on Monday and they should provide one if they have it. He gave us extra trash bags and dish soap. The following day we called the management company about the internet not working properly, remotes not having batteries, fan/light remote had old batteries so we couldn’t turn it off, and asked about the grill. I was told someone would call me back that deals with property maintenance. I called back an hour later (no return call) and she told me they had many calls to return and transferred my call. The person she transferred me to told me they don’t deal with internet to call them directly, no grill sorry, and someone should be there to deal with batteries. My husband called the internet company. We had to connect to the general Beach villa internet, which means the internet was horrible. They tried to fix it, but couldn’t for the rest of our stay. He maintenance guys came by right after I made the second call. They didn’t have batteries for everything. They put some in the TV remotes and said they would be back for the fan remote with more batteries. Never came back. The villa was clean with first glance, but upon further inspection it had dirty spots on walls. Ex. Like where a child might rub their finger on the wall to get something off of it. It needs to be updated. Furniture is old and not too comfortable, couch in particular. Dishes that were clean, were not. I had to rewash everything before using it. Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at San Destin Resort many times. The property at 5177 was the worst condo we have ever rented. At first view it was ok. However, we experienced the following, outlet failed to work in bathroom, bedroom, dining room and kitchen. To be fair, maintenance came and fixed that quickly. The bathtub in the twin bedroom failed to drain every time it was used, which eventually led to my five granddaughter sharing one shower and bath. The downstairs toilet would not flush properly. I tried to fix that by raising the back lid and was sprayed with water. There was dirt built-up and hanging off of the over-head fan blades in the twin bedroom. The pullout sofa mattress had debris on it plus it had a stain on it that looked like blood. I refused to let my grandchildren sleep on that. We purchased a blow up mattress for them to sleep on. Minor things that were annoying there was no broom to sweep up the sand, we called and asked for one but did not get it. There were no extra garbage bags, so we supplied our own, the kitchen clock did not work, and the extra linens for the dirty mattress were also stained. I was more than disappointed in the property. It is difficult to take five children on a vacation by oneself without being a plumber and maintenance person We did enjoy the pool and it was well maintained.

Beachwalk is the perfect location to enjoy the tranquil setting of the lake after a long day on the sugar white sand at the beach. We apologize if you felt badgered with our notifications. We just wanted to make sure all guest have everthing they need and proper instructions on check in in formation. We call guest prior to an arrival to make sure they know how to work the keyless doors and other types of equipment. This is to help guest understand how things work when they arrive.
