Just renovated in warm coastal style! Our villa at 5190 Beach Walk is located near the beach, the Beachwalk swimming pool, and directly on Horseshoe Lake for catch and release fishing right outside the back door. It is convenient to the Beachwalk swimming pool - just a few steps away. Hop on the complimentary tram or take the golf cart to the Baytowne Wharf or sugar white beach. Getting around the resort is a breeze!

Our fully stocked kitchen with granite countertops makes it a pleasure to prepare and serve family meals. The stylish dining area offers seating for six guests with additional bar seating for four. With cushy seating and an HDTV, the family room is comfortable and inviting! There is even a sleeper sofa for unexpected guests. Take time to relax and enjoy a remarkable lake view from the back patio. For the chef in the group. there is also a propane grill on the patio along with brand new outdoor seating.

The master bedroom suite's bed offers a brand new king mattress with fresh linens, HDTV, generous closet space and a lovely lake view from the picture window. The master bathroom is designed with a double vanity and a bathtub-shower combination. The guest bedroom features a brand new king bed and mattress, HGTV and ample closet space. The adjoining guest bathroom offers a bathtub-shower combination. For your convenience, there is a stackable washer/dryer combination upstairs, and wifi is complimentary.

CANCELLATION: Reservations that are cancelled more than 30 days prior to the arrival date receive a full refund. Reservations cancelled 14-29 days prior to arrival receive a refund of 50% of the amount paid. Guests are required to complete a rental agreement by electronic signature within 3 days of booking.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’ve stated a lot of places over the years and usually the pictures online are filtered to make it look better. However, when I stayed here, I was pleasantly surprised. It was absolutely phenomenal. The place was very, very clean not rundown better than the pictures. My girlfriend and the kids absolutely adored it. There was no funky smell. Everything was perfect. I would 100% rent this place again every year and every opportunity I got we had a wonderful time. It was close to everything we needed. The golf cart worked and it was overall amazing. I really can’t say one negative thing about this place from our trip. Thanks again!! 100 will be a returning customer.

Great Location

Overall the stay was great. It was off the beach so it wasn’t as busy but it was a short ride in the golf cart to get to the beach. My family and I loved it especially my 4 year old.

Convenient

We enjoyed the convenience of this location along with the view from the back of the rental. The added golf cart was a plus! The downstairs area had a good set up. Upstairs shows two twin beds in one room and a queen in the second room in the pictures. However one room had a queen and the second room a king bed.

The townhouse location and view is awesome. The furniture was comfortable and relaxing. The only negative was the golf cart needs replacing. It is not dependable and the battery would lose power in short period of time. If you don’t need a golf cart I would highly recommend this unit.

Overall Nice Unit

The unit itself is very nice. It was clean and as described in the listing. We checked in about 45 minutes after the check-in allowable time and received a surprised visit from the cleaning inspector. It wasn’t a big deal at all as she was very friendly and apologized for interrupting our stay. The golf cart was nice to have to get around the property. It could use a good detailing and a new key chain for the keys. A few throw blankets could also be added. The washer and dryer worked perfectly as well as all the kitchen appliances.

Many problems/ repairs needed

The Property was in a nice location easy to the pool the golf cart made it easy to go to the beach and surrounding areas within the community. The golf cart would only go 11 miles an hour which made it tough because all the other golf carts and cars we’re having to constantly go around us. We started experiencing a leak in the ceiling on day two or three in which we did call maintenance , Maintenance came out andthey said it had been an ongoing problem

Overall decent stay, had a few issues.

Property is good, could use a little updating. Golf cart gave us problems but eventually starting working correctly. King bed upstairs broke but we were able to fix it, the slats under the box spring have some pegs that slid out and almost broke the slats when we were going to bed. We had to remove the mattress and box springs and reinsert the pegs which look to have been broken for a while. Parking can be an issue also, every day we were fighting for our spots. Other than that everything was fine. Want to give an honest review.

Great setup, few areas to improve

The property was just as advertised and worked great for our family. All of the appliances were in working condition. Hot water, cold AC, gas for grill. Original Golf cart wasnt working so they had a replacement being delivered just as we arrived. Very helpful cart person toothed! The replacement was a bit worse for wear but given the alternative happy to have one made available. We had all the basics we needed to cook dinners in. The floorplan and setup gave us the space we needed to invite other family over for dinner. Few things that needs improvement Dusting - blinds, stairs, under beds. There were cobwebs in master window, lots of dust under bed, and in creases of stairs Better broom and dust pan. Cureent one didn't sweep up sand, just pushed it around Grill grate badly rusted, needs to be replaced Door code expired at least 10min before checkout. We fortunately had gotten all our stuff out and went to do final trash and walk thru but couldn't get back in at 9:48am.

My 86 year old mother could not have opened it herself. When I called for the few issues we had you responded quickly and I appreciate that. Mom thought the place needed a good dusting (the kitchen area decorations for sure). The neighbor insisted that you should not promise two parking spots and that it is a free for all according to the HOA. It was a fight all week to park the car next to the golf cart to save my mother from walking too far. He was rude. We went to Bijoux, Tommy Bahamas, Flemings, Pizza place by Publix, all very good. The doors could all use some WD40 as well. It is a great location, I've stayed in some nicer units there but as I said, you were responsive to our every email or text and I appreciate that very much!

Thank you for your review! We are sorry that you had trouble at the beginning, but we are glad we were able to address and resolve your concerns. We have scheduled a second deep cleaning and adjusted the back door handle. The HOA does allow two cars per unit, but all of Beach Walk is open parking, which is first come, first serve. We are so sorry for the neighbor, but so glad you guys had a good time and enjoyed so many wonderful and local eateries.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We used that cart to go to dinner the night we got here and ended pushing it halfway back, thats the only time it was used. They kept telling us they would fix it everyday and finally put new batteries on it the adternoon before we left. By that time we had plans for the evening and didn't get to use it. I had a VRBO rented and they were nice enough to help me find a place with a golf cart and let me transfer. I am so upset about all this. The unit was not very clean at all, I cleaned the kitchen before using it, and then we found a pair of dirty socks under the dining room table. They are still there because I was not touching them. They only refund $250.00 for the golf cart, whichwas ridiculous. This has been the most disappointing trip we've ever had in Destin, and we come every year.

Unfortunately, the replacement battery had to be ordered and arrived later than expected. We apologize if this was not communicated properly. It is clearly stated in the signed rental agreement that we do not typically offer refunds for golf cart malfunctions as these issues are out of our control. Nevertheless, a refund was issued as a courtesy to your party. Again, we are so sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused and apologize that the batteries were not replaced earlier in your stay. Regarding the cleanliness of the unit, we are very sorry to hear about the condition you found upon arrival. Had we been notified during your stay, we would have gladly sent our housekeeping team over to address these concerns immediately. Our cleaning standards are very high and we regret that this was not demonstrated to you. We have notified our housekeeping team of your concerns and apologize for any issues you encountered. We hope you will accept our sincerest apologies and choose to return for another stay. We would love to have you back and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a much better experience in the future.
