Beautiful spacious family friendly home with huge garden and amazing view

Chant-au-vent – comfortable self-catering accommodation (gîte) in the Ardèche, near to Le Cheylard.

Lovely holiday home ideal for large families, with four bedrooms suiting up to 8 people plus an infant (there is a cot and high chair at the house). Chant-au-vent is a real home-away-from-home, yet nestled in the mountains of the Ardèche with stunning views. Chant-au-vent is set in approximately an acre of gardens with an outdoor dining area and patio.

Situated in the charming village of Accons, just outside the market town of Le Cheylard and within an easy drive of the source of the Loire at Mount Gerbier de Jonc, the spectacular waterfalls of Cascade Ray-Pic, and numerous chateaux, both standing and ruined, this accommodation is ideally located for visitors to enjoy everything the Ardèche has to offer. With excellent walking and outdoor pursuits close by, including cycling, climbing & swimming, Chant-au-vent is an ideal holiday base.

Spacious and comfortable

Beautiful, spacious and comfortable house with a big garden, at a very quiet, peaceful location. Recommended for lovers of nature and outdoors, perfect for families. Kind and helpful neighbours (they take care of guests as the owner lives elsewhere).

Location idéale, maison chaleureuse

Accessibilité facile, et l'accueil au top ! Merci Michel ! Cette maison familiale est magnifique et très chaleureuse. Louée pour les fêtes de fin d'année autour de la cheminée ont été des moments magiques. L'été doit être aussi merveilleux dans ce cadre de verdure.

Très bon séjour en Ardèche

Très bon accueil de Michel. Ses conseils de visite, randonnées nous ont permis de découvrir cette belle région. La maison est grande et fonctionnelle et au calme et Très bien située en hauteur du village avec une vue magnifique sur les montagnes avec des couchers de soleil mémorables. En vacances en août nous avons pu admirer les nuits des étoiles filantes ! La maison est à 2 min à pied une aire de jeux pour petits et grands. Petit bémol le terrain de la maison n’est pas clôturé alors il faut surveiller vos animaux (nous sommes venus avec 2 chiens) et risque que le ballon des enfants glissent sur le terrain du voisin. Nous n’avons pas trouvé de bonnes boulangeries ouvertes au mois d’août dommage. Nous conseillons les visites du château de la chèze et la baignade au lac de st martial. N’hésitez pas à demander à Michel qui saura de bons conseils. Vous avez à disposition dans la maison des informations pour faire des randonnées à pied et à vélos. Nous avons passé un superbe séjour entre randos à pied vtt baignade dans les lacs et rivière. Cette location est idéale pour les grandes familles avec petits et grands enfants pour des vacances sportives ou farniente

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour entre ami . Maison spacieuses et agréable dans un quartier calme Dommage pour la météo nous n’avons pas pu profiter du beau parc et du cadre .

We all really loved this house and the quiet surroundings. It is spacious and well-equipped, and the garden is enormous. Very friendly and helpful owners. Great for a family vacation!

Grande maison très confortable au calme avec un grand jardin et parfaitement équipée. Tout était parfait et adapté à nos besoins ainsi qu à notre enfant de deux ans (aire de jeux à 100 mètres).

Sehr schöne Lage

Wir (2Erwachsene und ein Boxer) hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub in Accons. Das Haus entsprach unseren Erwartungen. Die kleinen Mängel an den Badamaturen haben wir akzeptiert (z.B. keine Temperaturregelung). Der Garten und die Terrasse waren sehr schön. Der Zaun fehlte leider. Die Umgebung und die entspannende Ruhe waren fantastisch.

Lovely views and spacious house

Lovely views , quite location, spacious well equipped house, really liked La Chaylard the closest town to shop, lots of character a genuine french town and a good market . Went on several walks spectacular views and enjoyed the flowers and butterflies.
