What a great place to stay!

Retreat to Paradise is a beautiful place to stay. The cabin was very clean. The deck and patio furniture were very clean too. The place has everything you need. The cabin description is spot on. The nights are so quiet and peaceful. We will definitely rent this place again.

Perfect cabin home

This is a perfect alpine home. It was super clean and so nicely appointed and decorated. Little touches thought through so you never needed anything. Well stocked kitchen. Everything is very fresh and nicely remodeled. Love this home and hope to go back again in the future.

great cozy house in the woods

We stayed for three nights with our two kids in May of 2024. We were out most of the day doing activities and was a great base of operations to explore the area. We panned for gold, went into a cave, drank some wine. Jamestown was fun, I definitely recommend visiting. The HOA pool was a little pricey at $20/guest per day but nice. The house itself was comfortable, clean, and with modern appliances. I would stay there again.

Hot Weekend

Thankful for the A/C that worked perfectly. Wonderful smaller house with great well stock kitchen, nice size bathrooms with downstairs having a good size walk-in shower. Nice little touches like tissues boxes around the house. Great large deck area with Weber BBQ (didn’t need to use fire pit at night). This house is perfect for a family of 4-5 as the two bedrooms will sleep 2 in one room and 3 or 4 (share one bed) in the other bedroom. The listing indicates up to 8 (pullout in common room) but in my opinion 8 would be very cozy as the common room is on the small size. Upstairs bathe is share with the 2 bedrooms. A couple or small family would be perfect

GREAT Weekend Escape

My wife and I traveled to Arnold, Ca for a friend’s wedding celebration. We decided to extend our stay a little and booked this home Thursday thru Monday. We have rented several VRBO properties, but hands down, this was one of the best! Property is managed thru Cedar Creek Realty in Arnold. Communication was excellent with clear directions and easy after hours process to pick up keys as we arrived to check in after 5pm. Tge house itself is incredibly well maintained - in no way did it appear “rental”, Moe like staying at a friend’s immaculately maintained, comfy, inviting home. Kitchen was well stocked, newer fridge and dishwasher. Plenty of condiments, seasonings, staples in stock. Good size exterior deck with Weber gas bbq and extra propane tanks, comfortable patio furniture and table to enjoy morning coffee, meals, and wine. Interior furniture was clean, comfortable, and stylish with plenty of bear themed touches throughout - truly an upscale mountain cabin feel. It was exactly the kind of home we imagine we would want if/when we decide to purchase a mountain vacation home! Look forward to our next stay at this “retreat to paradise”!

Great Cabin Near Calaveras Big Trees State Park

We had an amazing weekend get away at the cabin. After-hours check in was simple although we had a tough time finding the cabin in the dark (our fault not theirs). When we got to the cabin I was extremely impressed by how cozy it was. We had a minor issue with the hot water that was quickly rectified via text to the after hours number. They were kind and responsive which really set the tone for the weekend. The kitchen was easily the most well-appointed kitchen I’ve ever had at a vacation rental. They had everything you could possibly need! The grill and fire pit were well maintained and made for some great time outdoors. Wi-Fi was lightening fast, tv had plenty of channels to choose from for when we were indoors. Calaveras Big Trees State Park was just up the road… It was a great spot for the weekend and we hope to return soon!

Little piece of Paradise

Cabin was extremely clean and cozy; really nice relaxing location. There was almost everything you needed to “ make yourself at home”. Lovely location, very close to parks ( Calaveras Big Trees State park is right up the road, about 6 minute drive).. The management staff was extremely helpful, kind, friendly, courteous and professional. Highly recommend this property.
