Beautiful trip

We enjoyed our stay here so much. Beautiful view of ocean, the most comfortable bed I have slept on in long time, and short walk to beach. The isle of palms is so beautiful! We are planning to book our next trip for next year in same unit. The elevator and luggage carts were very helpful!

Wonderful condo!

This 2 bedroom condo was perfect for our getaway. Nicely appointed and quiet community. View from porch was perfect for relaxation and reflection. Isle of Palms is not my favorite beach location; but condo made it most enjoyable.

Amazing! Loved the condo, very clean and great view of the beach.

We enjoyed the condo very much. The beds were so comfortable even the pull out sofa sleeper. The condo was very clean and we loved the location. We as a family tried to come up with one negative and the only thing we could come up with is a full length mirror. We would definitely recommend your place. We had a wonderful time. Thank you for a great vacation.

Very nice for a weekend

The condo was spotless and comfortable. Very nice view of the ocean and pool from the screened porch and master bedroom. The only thing lacking for comfort was a coffeetable. The small bathroom I used needs a bathmat or something to reduce a chance of slipping in the tub. It was like glass!

Nice spot near the beach

This unit has all of the needed amenities. The screened in back porch had a nice view of the ocean. It is only a very short walk down to the shore. We had some issues with Vacasa. The wifi code was not available and the pool code changed and we were not able to get in contact with anyone to help us

Older, but nice and clean. Kitchen smelled of death. Apparently, a mouse issue since there were traps set in that area.

Long weekend

Unit was clean and had nice furniture inside and out. It could use a little updating in the kitchen and master bath shower. Plus the second bedroom TV is from the 90's. The patio door handle lock did not function. But overall very acceptable.

Great beach for a getaway

We stayed at this property (different unit, different owner) last year and really enjoyed the location and the large and relatively private beach. Given the pandemic, we decided to return because we knew there would be a lot of space to spread out away from others on the beach and it definitely did not disappoint. The condo is on the older side, but well maintained and has everything you need. It's not luxurious, more utilitarian, but functional and mostly comfortable. The only drawbacks of the unit were the lack of smart TV for streaming (fortunately we brought a Roku Stick), an extremely uncomfortable bed in the master that left me tossing and turning every night and waking up with a sore back, and the need to use a key to get in the front door even though there was a code lock on the door (they would not provide us with the code). There were several times we almost walked out to the beach without a key. My biggest complaint has to do with the property management company (Vacasa). They do not let you check in until 4PM, but their office closes at 5PM. So you only have a 1 hour check-in window! They don't bother to tell you this until 2 days before your trip. Driving in from out of state, I had a lot of anxiety anytime we hit heavy traffic, afraid bumper to bumper traffic would put us in after the office closed (there was nothing in the email about what to do if that happens). I did not need that kind of stress heading to vacation. Also, given the pandemic, we had decided we were not going to go out to eat, so I emailed them the Wednesday before our Saturday arrival and asked if delivery services like Uber Eats are able to get through the security gate at Wild Dunes. They did not respond until Saturday afternoon, and only said they were not sure and they would need to check with the local property manager (Vacasa is apparently a large national company) and they would get back to me. They never did. I can't imagine dealing with this company if we really did have a problem. So long story short, we will definitely return to this property but will look for a different unit not managed by Vacasa. And yes, food delivery services can get through the security gate.

Clean and comfortable

We enjoyed the condo it was very clean. The screened in porch was nice but could use some paint and cleaning. There was some construction going on around the tide water building when we were on the week of Oct 24 so it was very noisy the whole time.

DISAPPOINTING

Very disappointed in this house. Floors were filthy. Toilet in one bathroom moved when you sat on it. Dishwasher was broken. We had a smell of a dead animal (housecleaning’s description) when we got there that only intensified as the week progressed. We contacted the company right away with our concerns and they said they would address it immediately and get back to us and they never did. Reached out to them toward the end of our stay regarding our problems and , yet again, was told they would address it immediately and they never did a thing! Would not recommend.

Lots of Space Good Location

It was great being so close to the beach and the pool. My wife and I stayed with our 1 year old and we had plenty of space. The screened in deck was a great hang out spot. Tidewater was a very calm, low key complex which is what we were looking for. The TV situation wasn't the best (we didn't watch much but it is small and has volume issues) and the kitchen utensils / accessories could use a restock. There are more updated units in Tidewater that we will probably look to book next time.

You are paying for the location

This property is facing a beautiful beach and that is ALL that's going for it. Otherwise, it lacks in every way - furniture, appliances and overall feel of the place is very old and dated. The amenities that one would expect (i.e. sheets, paper products, kitchen items, etc.), especially paying this type of nightly rates, are the absolute cheapest you can possibly imagine. The master bed's mattress cover had blood stains that were visible through the thin sheets... The noise from people on the level above, which was mentioned in other reviews, is real; you can hear every time they walk around and it sounds like they are marching. And for the service - the only time we reached out was to request a pool code, which was not provided in all the standard communication we received. They texted back with 4 digits only, no words of any kind, but the code did not even work... Bottom line, if all you expect to get is an easy access to the beach - this place might work just fine. But don't expect much else.

Great for families

The location is great, and the pool is never really busy. Easy access to the beach, and the view and sounds are perfect.
