Oceanfront Condo - Beautiful Setting For a Memorable Vacation IOP Permit#P-00560

*Please note that there is planned construction in an adjacent building between now and May 31, 2025*

A picture paints a thousand words, so picture your family vacationing on your oceanfront condo balcony having breakfast while watching the sun come up over the ocean. Enjoy the cool ocean breeze and unobstructed views as you relax on the balcony. Swim in the pool or take a stroll along pristine beaches within the exclusive Wild Dunes Resort.

In 2023/2024, the entire exterior of the building was completely removed down to the steel beams. Fire and waterproofing was updated to current code. The steel beams were repaired or replaced. New exterior walls/painting was done. The building now looks brand new. Summerhouse is now probably the safest oceanfront building in the Charleston area!!

A new HVAC unit was installed in 2025. In 2024, the master bath was remodeled with a large marble tiled walk-in shower with glass doors for easy access. Also, all windows were replaced with hurricane proof double panel windows. New flooring was added throughout the condo in 2022.

This condo has been created for your comfort, in the hope of giving you a feeling of home from the minute you open the door. You won’t find a more comfortable, relaxing, beautiful place for your vacation. To top it off, we even have a little beach buggy (wagon) for you to use during your stay, which makes it so much easier for families to get everything they need down to the beach in one trip. Pickleball Players, Wild Dunes has 4 pickleball courts for your playing pleasure. They are located on court 18 at the tennis facility. Bring your paddles!

Overall great condo, excellent attention to detail and just a marvelous stay. The deck is very well appointed, with a fantastic view. Only suggestion would be beach chairs for the unit, however that is simply a minor suggestion to a great place to stay in IOP. 5 stars!

Lovely condo! Great stay!

I can not say anything negative about this condo and it is definitely a 5. It is a lovely, well maintained, very clean and inviting home. The kitchen is well equipped and there is an extra large balcony with a great view. We spent many hours out there. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay and definitely would like to visit again.

Comfortable with a view

Great view and community. The property was clean and comfortable. Pool was great and there is a nice wide beach. Comfortable beds and bathrooms. We would be happy to stay here again.

Upscale condo with easy feel to it

Overall the condo was great with an excellent view. Clean and upscale place. Easy to check in and check out. Very comfortable feel to the place and very up to date. Would stay there again.

Super clean condo

The condo was exactly as pictured and was super clean. The two king bedrooms with baths would make it perfect for two couples. We had an issue while we were there but the manager and owner were very quick to respond and take care of it as quickly as possible. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic stay on the IOP

This condo is fantastic! The furnishings are comfortable and spacious. The beds were comfortable. It was very clean and welcoming. The owners thought of everything in this beautiful condo. I love that there were two king bedrooms. It was the perfect spot for our trip! The covered parking was wonderful as it rained a couple of days during our stay.

Absolutely Perfect!

This place is so great!! My husband & I along with my mom stayed here a couple of weeks ago. The condo is decorated beautifully & anything you could possibly need is right there. We loved having a wagon to take our beach gear to the beach. Only issue with condo is the glider on the balcony was broken-was a bit lopsided & a couple of exposed screws so we were unable to use it. We did have a couple of tornado warnings thanks to Helena but never felt like we were in danger. Will absolutely look at staying here again in the future.

Everything and More!

Beautifully decorated, spacious and very comfortable. Exactly as described and pictured. Feels like a home not just a beach rental. This unit has everything you could wish for and more than most rentals offer. The beds are extremely comfortable and the walk-in shower in the master suite is great. Absolutely loved our stay there and would highly recommend it.

Ideal location

Beautiful ocean view and access. The balcony is the perfect place to sit and visit, or just enjoy the environment of the ocean. The balcony gets sun until around 10am, then shaded the rest of the day so it is not too hot. Perfect breeze comes through to enjoy, too. Inside is beautifully decorated, clean, and has all the necessities. We hope to be back!

Third visit

This is the third time I've stayed here. Feels like home away from home. This time I took my parents and aunt. My mother is in a wheelchair so I knew it would be perfect with the elevator. My family loved the condo just as I knew they would. They went on and on about how nice it was, how pretty the décor, how comfortable the beds, the balcony, the ease of visiting Charleston,etc. My dad said next time he wants to stay at least a week. Accurate Pictures/Description - Clean Beachfront Condo

The Summer House condo appeared just as it was described and pictured in the listing. Upon entering the condo, everything was clean and in place. The building features an elevator and luggage carts to make getting everything up to the 3rd floor a simple task. The kitchen was well stocked with various glassware, plates, bowls, cookware, cutting board, etc. The only thing missing was a wine bottle opener, which we were able to pick up quickly at the nearby Harris Teeter. The living room, master bedroom and balcony all have beach views and you can hear the waves from the master bed. The second bedroom overlooks the exterior hallway and parking lot. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans. For the most part, the condo was quiet and noise was only occasionally audible from adjacent units. For those traveling with children, the second bedroom closet contains various beach toys, chairs, an umbrella and a beach wagon to easily get everything out to the beach. This would be very convenient for anyone that wasn't able to bring these items with them. Check-in and check-out were simple and almost non-existent. We were emailed a letter to provide to security upon arrival and when it was time to leave we just locked the door and left. We never actually had to meet with anyone. The property manager was very responsive via email with the few questions we had. Overall, if we ever found ourselves wanting to visit Isle Of Palms, SC again we would likely revisit this condo. This building exterior is showing it's age, but the updated condo itself met or exceeded expectations based on the listing information.

Thoughtful unit = comfortable vacation

We just returned from a stay during the Great American Eclipse. We were a family of 3 (2 adults, and one 10 year old), and we thought this was the perfect stay. Everything was so comfortable and convenient. The word that comes to mind when I think of this unit is "thoughtful". The owner really put thought into every aspect of what a guest might need and had it available. We were delighted and pleased to find an ice cream scoop, for example, so we could celebrate my child's birthday (on the day of the eclipse, no less) while there. We had gone looking for a way to celebrate and certainly found it. The owner had helpfully labeled everything from remote controls to light switches so you didn't have to "experiment" to figure out what they did - another thoughtful touch. The beach wagon, umbrella, chairs, and sand toys came in very handy and it was an easy walk to the beach and pool. The beach in this area is perfect. It was a considerably busy time, but we never struggled for parking either. As far as drives, it was very easy to get from Summerhouse to anything we wanted to see with a rental car. We were all over the area - Magnolia plantation, Charleston, Mt. Pleasant, Awendaw, Sullivan's Island, and nothing was more than an hour drive even in the dreaded eclipse crowds. The unit itself was quiet, clean, and spacious. Our beds were comfy. "Check in and out" was easy. Having laundry available in the unit was invaluable with our days on the beach. Our favorite part of this unit was the balcony. My husband and I spent almost every morning and evening out there, enjoying the ocean breeze and warm air. The rockers were just wonderful. If we return to the area, we would absolutely try to book this unit again. Thank you so much, owners, for putting together such a thoughtful rental!

We had a wonderful family vacation in the Isle of Palms. The condo was clean, comfortable, in a beautiful gated community, the owner & staff were easy to contact, & prepared us perfectly for our stay. There's plenty of things to do in the area as well, it's uncommercialized, & very family friendly. I'd recommend the condo & area to anyone.
