We had a wonderful stay. The property is located in Wild Dunes Resort which was a plus. We also liked that the place had easy access to the beach which was beautiful. The property manager Alex was very professional & he got back to us right away w/any questions we had.

This review is going to be a bit of a tale of two reviews. I will start with the host and the communication and the cleanliness and the space and view were absolutely wonderful. I did love the furnishings. They were very comfortable in the living room. I have rented about 40 of these condos over the past two years so I have a lot of comparative points. A couple of things renters need to be aware of.The mattress on the bed was either 30 years old or a very cheap one. I was very disappointed with how lumpy and soft the bed was. I also did not appreciate the plastic mattress cover which I immediately took off. I thought that was unnecessary, hot and sweaty. overall the bed was very uncomfortable. I was disappointed and frankly for the first time in renting any of these units that there wasn’t a TV in the guestroom. Normally it wouldn’t matter, but because it rained all weekend it did. I also was surprised how limited the appointments were in the kitchen. Only two wine glasses. I didn’t have a large enough cookie sheet to cook a pizza. Again, I usually have all these things in other properties I rent. Just be mindful -and in my experience -the details really matter and just because of the bed unfortunately I wouldn’t rent this unit again. I will also say it’s the first time I stayed in summer house and it’s the only property where you could hear everything above you and everything below you so there was not major but ongoing noise from the neighbors.

Easter Beach Trip

The condominium is as advertised easy walk to the pool and beach. Condo is clean and comfortable. Great location. The pool is clean and seating ample. FYI the pool is not heated but still refreshing in mid April. Easy check in/out process. We are already planning another visit. Loved our stay.

Perfect spot for family vacation!

We have stayed in downtown IOP before, but this was our first time staying in Wild Dunes and we loved it. The unit was spotless and comfortable and just right for our family of four. Steps to the beach and the pool, great views from our balcony, an easy and scenic drive to downtown IOP and downtown Charleston both. We had a great time, loved this unit, and hope to stay again!
