We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Les's place at Lakeside Park. His place was spotless, Les was very responsive and friendly; gave us a personal tour of his wonderful place. What a very nice man! The beds are extremely comfortable. Lovely kitchen, spacious attached garage. Outside fire pit was great to have, gas grill also. A very lovely house, and a fantastic location.Les's place is right on Lake Michigan, with its own private beach access. What an absolute treat to hear the waves every day, see the sun rise and set over the water. The place is in a great location, and very quiet area. Everyone agreed, Les's place is absolutely fabulous. This was our first time staying at Les's place and we hope to return again and again.

We had an amazing time here! Luckily we were treated to a fantastic moonrise a couple nights. After exploring the peninsula, this home was great to come back to. We hope to return again in the future!

Beautiful location

Beautiful location, especially if you want to remain outside the hubbub of the major towns of Door County. It's a short, easy drive to any of them. Enjoyed the restaurants nearby and, of course, beautiful Lake Michigan! Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful place to enjoy family and the beach. Great location to experience the peaceful side of Door County. Owner was very helpful with check in and house had everything we needed including beautiful sunrise and clear dark skies.

We chose it for the beach and the views. The house was very clean. The views were amazing! Enjoyed walking to A little bit of coffee in the mornings. Wish the beach was a little cleaner but would come back in a heartbeat!

Best Of Both Worlds

Our stay at Les’ beautiful property in Jacksonport was beyond our expectations. Time spent in Jacksonport was peaceful and relaxing. Access to the busy western side of the peninsula for shopping and eating was easy. This all allowed for a nice balanced feel to our vacation. Thanks again Les!!

Absolutely Perfect

My wife, daughter, som-in-law and our two grandsons ages three and two had a great vacation. The property had a gentil slope to the private beach, The water was shallow with a sand bottom. Perfect for the toddlers, who did not want to. Leave.

Amazing view, location & property

Our group of 6 adults had a wonderful stay. We started our days with beautiful and tranquil sunrises on the expansive deck. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to easily prepare our coffee and breakfast before venturing out to enjoy Door County. The beach is amazing. We are already planning a trip back next summer to take full advantage of the sandy beach. We ended our days by grabbing a meal at the local restaurants and enjoying our evening cocktails by a bonfire under the the moon and stars.

Beautiful location!!!

Great location to explore all of Door County or just stay at the house and enjoy the lake life!! Everything was wonderful, clean and Les was close by to answer any questions! We had some wonderful weather and enjoyed swimming in the lake every day with the kids, very easy entry, sandy and shallow so the kids could enjoy by themselves. Shipwreck not far from shore you can easily swim out to. Farmers market was also an added bonus at the park next to the house. Les gave great recommendations for food and where to explore.

Loved staying at the Jacksonport house again. This is our 2nd time and it’s even better than our 1st stay in 2019. Looks like they’ve invested in new furniture, a new stone break wall, and a new wonderfully maintained beach! The house is right by the park, farmers market and Island Fever. A+ vacationing.

Great Place!

We needed to reschedule to an earlier week, which in June is before things really heat up around there, (so we did not get to test the air conditioner or much of th swimming!) but the host was gracious and generous with his support. The house is right next to a park with a playground, which the 10-year-old grandkids loved! The sandy beach is shallow for a long ways out! Thanks, Lee!
