Pete, we're so glad you had a great time! We love the location as well--close enough to be super convenient yet just removed enough to be quiet and peaceful! Aloha, Camille, and mahalo for the nice review! So happy you liked our condo and the location--it's really so easy to zip around all over West Maui from there, we really like it, too! Thanks again--please keep us in mind the next time you visit Maui!

Thank you so much, Kristina--we really appreciate the great review! We are thankful for Monty as well--he's the best! I'm guessing you're referring to the rice cooker--we did get a new one since the old one wasn't working for you. Sorry about that! And sorry the new one didn't show up in time--logistics can be tricky on the island. I hope you were able to use the slow cooker or stovetop to your satisfaction for the rice. We are also getting new stickers for that stovetop, fyi. The microwave, fridge and dishwasher were all new in 2025, so no worries there at least! We're very happy you enjoyed your stay--please come back sometime, we would love to have you! Mahalo!

Thanks for your review, Angela--we're glad you enjoyed your stay! We will definitely keep your suggestion in mind--at least the sun doesn't come straight in until late afternoon and we have AC. We tend to have jet lag most of the time we're there, so we're up early anyways, but the added shade would certainly help--it's on our list! Thanks again and please keep us in mind the next time you visit Maui!

Thanks so much for your review, Deborah! We really appreciate the feedback--we are going to look into getting a keypad, just need to work out the logistics with Monty. I'm glad you got back in quickly and also glad that you enjoyed your stay! We have been making improvements to the condo (as logistics and finances allow). We actually replaced the flooring in the downstairs bedroom since your stay and changed the listing photos. The keypad will be next! Thanks so much--please keep us in mind the next time you visit Maui, we give discounts to returning guests!

Thanks so much, Michael! We really like the location and private feel as well--it's very peaceful! Please keep us in mind for your next trip to Maui. Mahalo :)

Aloha, Peter! We're so glad you enjoyed our condo and also the location! It is convenient to just hop in the car right outside the condo and go and, since the main road is close, it makes it even better, we agree! Hope you had some great adventures and thanks for the great review! Keep us in mind the next time you visit Maui :)

Thank you so much, Frances! We are so happy you enjoyed your stay--we agree, the location is great! Please keep us in mind the next time you visit Maui--we would love to welcome you back! Mahalo!

Aloha, Kathy! Thanks so much for the great review--we really appreciate it! So happy you liked our condo and appreciated the location--it's close without being too close! So sorry about the surprise--we do have info about that in our listing but there's no way to incorporate that into the numbers when booking (since it's paid to the condo complex) and also no way to put it in bold type in our listing in the system. Glad it wasn't too much and thanks for your understanding. Please keep us in mind the next time you visit Maui! Thank you so much!
