Quick socially distanced getaway

Heritage Harbor is an in-progress community that will be amazing when its complete.We rented "Somewhere Else",a cute 2 story cottage right on the river with amazing views.The decor was super cute...but a few suggestions: the master bedroom really needs a ceiling fan and a better bed frame.The room was stuffy even with AC on and the bedframe squeaked with the slightest move, despite the matress being comfy. There are also LOTS of river bugs that get in the house...not a huge deal, but annoying. The renter ahead of us left the grill a mess and when I went to clean it, the grease trap was FILLED with cigarette butts! Ewww...otherwise, a nice cottage and lots to do: swimming, boating.The onsite restaurant has a great lobster quesedilla!

Just What We Needed

The hubby and I wanted a peaceful weekend getaway to relax and unplug. This place delivered! The property was beautiful inside and out. The waterfront views were gorgeous, the neighbors friendly, and property cozy, clean, and welcoming! We will be booking a stay here again.

There was some confusion about how to use the TV some directions would be nice and other remotes didn't even have any batteries. The room with the balcony was very nice for my mom. But as two adults when our cottage was changed and told to be an upgrade with two adults it would have been nice if the second room wasn't bunk beds. But being right on the water the view was very nice. I did have to call back to get a new email sent to me for a change of rooms that was never fully explained to me but when I did get someone she took care of ot right away

We loved our stay.

We loved our stay. The pool was in beautiful condition and everything in the resort is kept nice and clean. All the staff were amazing but the Marina Staff were especially nice to work with. Also I asked one of the grounds keepers for extra firewood and it was there within hours and split nicely.

The stay was great. The one negative is the directions to the property. It is very difficult to see the home numbers and the parking numbers. The directions gave multiple addresses and it took a while to figure it out.

I really liked the text message updates about arrival and departure instructions. This is really helpful so emails do not need to be revisited.

I only spoke with Curry(spelling?). He was always so very down to earth & friendly & always got the job done!! Our server on Thurs. night at Red Dog, also was personable & we had a nice dining experience.

Everyone who walked by or jogged by ,as we sat on the porch ,said hello. Very nice. Rich quickly resolved a minor issue we had with the key pad and was very friendly.
