About this property

Vacation Villa overlooks 9th fairway a 12 minute drive to Cedar Point near beach

Our Vacation Villa originated with my parents 35 years ago and has been enjoyed by the whole family every summer when they came to the Huron area from their winter home in Orlando, Florida. My husband, children, my siblings and their children would converge every summer to go to Cedar Point, take the ferry to the Islands and golf on the Sawmill Creek's golf coarse. The best part of our time together, however, was sitting around the villa laughing and enjoying everyone's company. The open space design allowed us all to be together and never miss a joke! When the grand kids got restless we would take walks to the private beach along Lake Erie's shore. My husband and I were so fortunate to be able to purchase this beautiful piece of property and keep the legacy of hospitality that my mother and father began years ago. My mom is back in Florida and thrilled to see the renovations and updated changes we made. Even though my dad passed away three years ago, his love for his family has inspired us to create an atmosphere that will bring enjoyment for many families to come. Our journey is just beginning and we hope you enjoy our vacation villa as much as we have enjoyed making it special for all our future guests.

The Villa was beautiful, the hosts have done an amazing job on the furnishings and decor, every detail thought of from well-equipped kitchen and grill to games and extras in case you leave something at home. It was so quiet and peaceful around the development. We enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return! The Villa was exactly as pictured and Lynn was so helpful, checkin and checkout so easy.

Great condo on golf course, private beach, pool and marina

My 15 year old daughter did all the research for a vacation close to home and found this beautiful Updated condo that was centralized to everything in the area. We were within a half hour of most major attractions. This condo is absolutely beautiful and plenty of room for 6 of us. Lots of amenities. The Owners were very responsive to all my questions.

Quiet golf resort

It's a great stay at this cozy and quiet condo. Very peaceful. Everything is within 7-10miles. Had a good walk at Sheldon Marsh State Nature Preserve and enjoyed the nature. There is a beach there too.We had a rare opportunity to watch sun eclipse. Very nice condo for a family to spend time. Thanks Lynn.

Wonderful home!

Plenty of room for us to stay in this beautiful spot. The guys got to take advantage of the golf course and kids werent right on top of one another. Bathrooms and kitchen were well stocked with everything necessary! That master walk in closet was WONDERFUL with all the extras you may need. The outdoor storage closet was packed with extras for outdoor activity. 10/10 experience

Amazing Villa Looking over the golf Course.

Beautiful Villa. Quiet area. Great layout. Plenty of clean dressers to use. Large walk in closet. Very clean. Lots of towels and linens. Kitchen was well stocked. Owner was amazing and communicated very well. My kids loved the spiral staircase and loft up top with the trundle bed. Was a great location to the sports park where we played in a week long baseball tournament. Highly recommend staying here!

Home away from home

We have used many rentals within the US over the last decade and this was one of our favorites! We stayed with our 2 kids in the heat of July during our visit to see family and this rental was perfectly comfortable (excellent AC- thank goodness!). The host was very helpful, sending us useful details before the trip, stocking the unit with a reasonable supply of bath/kitchen linens and providing clear instructions on where to park (parking was EASY!). The unit was clean and inviting. Check in/out was straightforward. The neighbors were very kind and helpful. The area is very quiet, which we loved. The kids loved the loft for gaming/napping. We also liked the unit’s proximity to Cedar Point, island ferries, and Huron family with easy freeway access. We hope to be back during our next visit to see family and would recommend for anyone needing a quiet, clean home away from home.

Stayed for National dance competition

Everything was as described in the listing. The one exception was the pool. The listing stated that we would have use of the community pool on the property, unfortunately it seems that some previous guests ruined that and we did not get use of the pool. The house was very nice and clean with loads of supplies towels, bedding laundry soap, even batteries and a first aid kit!! Lynn was super sweet and answered all of our questions.

Great Family Vacation

This was the cleanest place we have ever stayed on vacation. If that is a priority for your family, you will want to book this villa. It is beautifully decorated and everything was so thought out. The villa had everything you could possibly need to have a great stay. Our daughter forgot her toothbrush, and there was one wrapped in plastic in the bathroom. All the luxuries of a hotel, while having the comfort of home. We ate most meals in, and the kitchen and grill managed to accommodate our crew of 7 perfectly. Mike and Lynn even dropped off a crock pot when I emailed to ask if I should pack ours. They were super to work with. We enjoyed the pool, beach, and searching for sea glass. We rented a boat and went to Kelley's Island. Everything was a short distance. Try Piped Pipers ice cream if you stay here. Ask for their special twist. We would definitely stay here again. Wonderful condo in great community

Condo in a great golf community with a view of one of the greens and a short walk to Lake Erie. Several nice touches to the stay including - a welcome batch of local baked muffins, toiletry/bath items and kitchen products. Lots of subtle amenities including charging ports on the nightstands and towel rack on the back of the door. Conveniently located to Cedar Point and local attractions. Hostess was responsive to questions and let us check in early. A great experience and highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time. The villa was thoughtfully furnished, the host took the time to think of what a family would need. Plenty of extra towels and blankets, and a well-equipped kitchen that also included a few essential cooking ingredients in the spice cabinet! The host also provided the most delicious blueberry muffins from a local small business bakery. We appreciated the booklet the host compiled of recommended restaurants, stores, and info about the area. The host also left her contact information in case we needed anything during our stay. The villa and the unit were very quiet while we were there.

Cozy Family Villa

The cozy little villa is super clean and comfortable! It is located very close to anything you’d want to do in the Sandusky area. The resort was under construction as new owners work to upgrade the hotel/lodge, but it was still a very nice area to stay. The golf course is right there if you golf and the pool was close as well. I only gave 4 stars for location/neighborhood because we were hoping to dine at the lodge and golf course restaurants as an easy/close meal, but since they were being renovated we didn’t get the chance. I am sure once it’s completed it will add another perk to this place. Lynn was super easy to communicate with and they made us feel very welcome, especially the delicious muffins!! The villa is loaded with everything you need in the full kitchen, extra bedding and plenty of towels!! It was a nice place to come home to after a long day of our kids dance competition. I would highly recommend this villa to anyone staying in the area!

Sawmill resort

Lynn the owner is terrific, asked to use garage for bikes, no problem. The other owners were friendly, their kids included my 4 year old grandson as part of the gang. The unit was 3 miles from the marina my boat is docked in. We cooked dinner most nights. Thanks
