The Vantage - In the Historic Downtown Wilma Theater

The historic Wilma building was built in 1921, and has stood the test of time as a Missoula center piece and hot spot. From the front door you are steps away from amazing and creative restaurants, distilleries and brew pubs.

The Vantage will transport you to a golden era in time while offering outstanding views of the Montana surroundings. Renovated by a national award winning local architect , this unit has been meticulously created as a luxe refuge, whether you're staying for a few days or a month. Honoring the 1921 birth of the Wilma building, the Vantage is designed in the Regency Style of the 1920's and 30's.
At 741 square feet, the Vantage is a large unit on the southeast corner on the sixth floor. Eight over sized windows provide mountain and river views to the east, south and west. The Vantage offers a full kitchen open to a large living and dining room, a bedroom with queen size bed and on suite full bathroom and a full guest bathroom. In the living room, a queen size sleeper sofa provides additional lodging. From the dining area, a fireplace provides ambiance for the connected living and dining areas. Historic 1920's light fixtures compliment the original terrazzo flooring. Crisp white walls are accented by cherry and black cabinetry and silver velvet curtains. Marble floors and walls adorn the bathrooms. Typical to the Regency Style's nod to the riches of world travel, African and Asian elements add depth to the experience.

The Vantage hints at what life might have been like in the days of Roosevelt, Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong and Mary Pickford, among others. Enjoy a gimlet as the sun lowers across the valley. Play some jazz. Watch the kingfishers over the river. Be awed by the views--or the vantage--this unit offers. Pause. Relax...Just be in the Vantage.

The unit has a mini-split air conditioning and heating unit, Wi-Fi, 37” television, Blu-ray, and Sonos system. The kitchen is fully equipped. Ironing board, iron, hairdryer and all linens included (down alternative comforters and pillows).

Laundry Room is located on first floor.

Loading and unloading zone for your use is located in front of the Wilma Building. Public parking is close by, street and garage. Parking Map and web link will be provided. Parking meters are available to pay for daily parking, and parking is free from 5PM to 8AM and on weekends.

Perfect "Vantage" of MIssoula

Excellent space and location, with beautiful views out the many windows of the Clark Fork and the mountains. Plus right in the heart of downtown and convenient to all that Missoula has to offer. Some issues with lack of specificity on check in and parking but Rita (the owner) was instantly available by text and assisted on this and other tips for our trip. Missoula offers some great bar and dining options and also good day trip possibilities (Flathead Lake, Bitteroort Valley). Overall wonderful stay.

Location, location, location

This condo was quite the surprise. It was comfortable, quiet, private, convenient, and breath-taking. We felt right at home with all of the available amenities and conveniences. Both walk-in showers were perfect (great pressure with an abundance of hot water). If you're one that enjoys a view of the mountains, THIS IS THE PLACE! As a former local, this is the best 'residential' view of Missoula over looking the river, Caras Park, and the gorgeous surrounding mountains. The location is perfect, as well. You are in the thick of it all - entertainment, shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, people watching, etc., etc. All within easy walking distance. Lastly, the host was on top of it! The few questions I had upon arrival were answered immediately and with great sympathy. Definite RETURN CUSTOMER and REFERRAL TO FRIENDS/FAMILY.

Great location!

The Vantage is a well appointed, clean and beautiful condo in the historic Wilma building. The location is wonderful, and the view is amazing! Except for a lack of dresser space (there is an armoire for hanging clothes and a couple storage cubes) and bathroom counter space, everything else was great. Beautiful tile work and lighting (on dimmers, which was greatly appreciated), and the bed is comfy. Enjoyed our stay!

Great Location

Love downtown Missoula! The apartment is spotless, well appointed, and in one of the best locations in town! Views of the Bitterroots, the Clark Fork, and Mt. Sentinel. Caras Park and the farmer's market right out the back door!

Wonderful historical condo updated with well done touches and unbeatable views of city/riverfront

Unit is real nice and well thought out. Location in the heart of downtown Missoula. We loved all the items for our extended two week stay for cooking. Unit is laid out real nice and the added 3/4 bath was wonderful to have. Plus: Excellent location, updates to unit, historical feel, two baths, comfy bed, beautiful views of city/riverfront. Negatives: Parking spot too narrow for anything wider than Subaru, parked in pay lot, more "city noise" than expected, ran fan to get cool air into bedroom.
