Brand new home with elevator completed in 2020! Escape to your beautifully maintained Beach Home Away From Home one block off the beach for a much needed relaxing and joyful vacation for your friends and family in Scotch Bonnet Soundside of North Topsail Beach. Located three miles north from the heart of Surf City and the brand new high rise bridge. This 4 bedroom 3.5 bathroom home is perfectly situated for you to enjoy the most beautiful views over the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway. Whether you're looking to get away for a couples retreat or a family vacation, this rental property is suited for your needs.

The Beach House has plenty of room to enjoy the outdoor island life with 3 covered porches and 3 sun decks. The front porch has 4 captains chairs and 2 end tables to enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine with your family, while soaking up the beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean.

The third floor of the home is an open concept and great place for your family and friends to come together and spend quality time with two adjacent living room seating areas. The living room is equipped with a 90" flat screen smart TV with cable and Apple TV. There is also a Bose Wave IV Radio/CD/Bluetooth system for your musical enjoyment. You will surely enjoy this space overlooking the ocean, pool and ICW. This floor also has a custom built farmhouse table, which comfortably sits 10 people. There is also a half bath located on this floor adjacent to the kitchen and pantry.

The second floor of the home has 3 bedrooms with adjoining porches. There are two bedrooms overlooking the pool and ICW, which each have a queen bed and one of the bedrooms having a twin bunk overtop of the queen. Both bedrooms have a 42” wall-mounted Smart TV. There is a full bathroom with toilet and shower/tub along with a double vanity adjacent to the bedrooms. The second floor master bedroom is the most relaxing with a King Bed overlooking the ocean and 55” Smart TV. The MBR also has its own Full Bathroom with double vanity and shower/toilet. The laundry room is also located on this floor with a front load washer and dryer.

The 4th floor has a private master bedroom with King Bed along with a 65" wall-mounted Smart TV with Cable. The master bathroom has a double vanity, shower, separate soaker tub, and toilet. This second master bedroom is the full length of the home with great views of the Ocean and ICW. There is also a twin day bed overlooking the ICW.

Bedding linens and bathing towels will be provided for each Bedroom/Bathroom for ease throughout your stay. Each full bathroom will have 4 bath towels, 2 hand clothes, and 2 wash clothes.

Other amenities include Central AC/Heat with Nest Thermostat, WiFi, and access to the professionally maintained and brand new community pool built in the fall of 2019. There is also a 130 can beverage cooler and 32 bottle wine cooler located in the pantry for extra space away from the refrigerator when you want to enjoy a nice refreshing frosty or glass of wine! There are also a few coolers for all of your refreshment needs while enjoying the beautiful beach, the community pool or while renting a boat. 10 Beach chairs and umbrellas are provided for when you head to the beach or pool. The home also provides plenty of beach towels for all of your family and friends. The ground floor also has a gas grill.

When it is time to go to the beach the access is located down the neighborhood and directly across the street. When coming off the beach there is a refreshing hot/cold private outdoor shower to rinse off.

Great house with fantastic amenities both in the home and for the beach. Owner is very helpful and responsive. The community pool is right across from the house. Beach wagons provided to help carry stuff for the short walk to the beach. Highly recommend this house!

the best week at a beautiful house!

This house was perfect and had everything you could possibly need. We didn't have to bring beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, b/c the house had it all. The walk to the beach is about 3-4 minutes and beach access is very easy to navigate. The community pool is perfect and never busy. Most of the time we had the pool to ourselves. Brian responds immediately and is very kind. Can't recommend this house enough!

2024 Family vacation

We had a great time in Topsail. Probably one of the best places we’ve ever rented (house wise) It was clean and nicely decorated. It had things I wasn’t expecting but appreciated like sound machines and phone chargers in every room. My only complaint is that the view from the back of the house is outdated. Since the pictures have been taken two more houses have been built directly across the street blocking a perfect view of the ocean from their back balcony’s which was one of the main reasons we chose this house to rent so that was disappointing to see but otherwise we were extremely happy with this rental and we would definitely go back :)

Amazing views & house!!

Simply amazing!! The house was in pristine condition but had an amazing lived in beachy feel. All of the pictures & descriptions are spot on. This house had everything you could need & more! We loved having the beach chairs, umbrella & large beach towels for our use, made traveling a lot lighter. The outdoor shower got more use than the indoor showers. My kids, husband, friend & I only used the outdoor shower...the gorgeous sea breeze that swept through was so refreshing as well as using cool water after a day at the hot beach. There was plenty of room for the 9 of us throughout the house. It was so nice to just have to pack your clothes & toiletries...everything else was there. Just some food shopping (including your paper products) was all else we needed. We will definitely be back!! Thank you Brian for your amazing house, communication & hospitality!!

Property manager let us know in advance building had been struck by lighting couple days leading up to our stay and that he was working on fixing what he could and arranging service. His communication was fantastic. And even though the elevator couldn’t be fixed for our stay, he was more than generous refunding us. Hidden Gem for a location!

This location currently has ocean views from the second floor all the way to the top, and amazing marsh views on the backside of the property just over the neighborhood pool, which is conveniently located about 40’ from the house! The house was clean, and had a massive wall mounted flatscreen TV. Owner was super nice and promptly answered every concern we had. My only wish is to be able to score this location again in the future!

Best week ever

We had an amazing week in this beach house. There was plenty of room for the entire family of 9 people. The house was new and clean. The pool is located just behind the house and the beach was a short walk away. The beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, and wagon were an added bonus. We loved all the porches and the views. Brian was a great host and provided for every need for his guests.

Believe The Hype

It is sometimes hard to trust reviews that you read but this is a case where everything that I read in the reviews it what we found at the house. Location was great. House was supplied with everything we needed plus some. Was leary about not bringing our own beach chairs but believe that the (10) chairs provided where high quality Tommy Bahama. Sent two questions to owner and had responses in less than 30 minutes. By far the best VRBO experience to date.

Everything!!!

We have stayed in many places and traveled much. I don’t think there is one detail Brian had not considered. The home, furnishings, location, decor and amenities were spectacular. It’s like every detail you would imagine is thought of. We were delighted to meet Brian in our check-in and what a great guy. He checked on us and made sure we had all we needed. We even had a small issue that was our fault and he was so kind in resolving it. Just a delight to stay at this property. Our suggestion to future guests, instead of using the community beach access suggestion, that has stairs over the dune, go to the right out of the neighborhood and use the 9th street public access, which has no stairs and a cart can be pulled over it. I also feel it’s closer to the beach from Brian’s house. If you have many chairs or umbrellas, bring a cart that is sand friendly. The access to the beach is aprox 150 yards, no big deal. Easy. We highly suggest this property and endorse Brian as an excellent owner and communicator.
