About this property

Luxury Mtn Lodge / Indoor Pool / Theatre / Hot Tub

Summary:
This luxurious Mountain Cascades Lodge boasts stunning mountain views, beautiful furnishings, rustic wood and steel finishes, top-of-the-line amenities, and custom touches throughout. There is room for 26 guests, and every bedroom features its own spa-like bathroom; a true retreat for every guest.

The Space:
Set on a private 5-acre lot – adjacent to the gorgeous Eagle River Lodge (also on a private 5-acre lot) – Mountain Cascades Lodge is a stunning 7-bedroom, 7 ½-bathroom mountain lodge with space for 26 and an impressive list of amenities. In this industrial-style group lodge, no detail has been overlooked. Along with the restored-wood-look floors and tongue-in-groove white pine, Mountain Cascades Lodge features beautiful barn-style and reclaimed wood throughout. Each space in this industrial-style cabin has been beautifully designed, from the stone-and-long exterior and incredible indoor pool room to the elegant entryway and gorgeous game loft. It's also just a few miles from downtown Pigeon Forge, offering convenience without sacrificing privacy.

As you step through the double front doors of this luxurious lodge, you'll be greeted by gorgeous views through the huge windows running all along the back wall. The elegant entryway is just the beginning of the high-end style found throughout the entire cabin. It features a large eagle carving, Western spruce pillars, and a log bench where you can sit to kick off your shoes. Here you'll also find a closet with iron and ironing board and the laundry room where you can wash swimsuits and towels after a dip in the pool or hot tub.

Throughout Mountain Cascades Lodge, Southwestern touches add charm and warmth, perfectly juxtaposing the heavy timber and galvanized railings. The living room, spacious and furnished for a group, also feels like home. Whether here for a family reunion, church retreat, corporate weekend, or fun group getaway, friends and family will gather here for peaceful nights and lasting memories. Plush leather sofas and comfy chairs are gathered around a gorgeous stacked stone fireplace that runs all the way up to the soaring ceilings. A timber and steel mantle continues the industrial feel, and a large slice of redwood on the fireplace serves as a stunning piece of rustic art. On cool Smoky Mountain nights, curl up in front of the gas fireplace and enjoy the fantastic views through the windows. The large Southwestern rug is soft underfoot and perfect for crawling kids. Off to the side, watch shows or movies on the 55-inch flat screen TV. This massive space is open to the kitchen and dining area and overlooked by the two lofts, so guests cooking, dining, and lounging can visit with each other. With huge windows all around, you won't have to miss the incredible mountain views when you want to stay comfortable inside. The kitchen is spacious enough for multiple guests to cook at once, this fully equipped kitchen is a chef's dream. Large groups will find all they need for meals or snacks around the cabin, including two coffeemakers, two double toasters, a pantry, a Lazy Susan cabinet, and plenty of serving dishes, glasses, utensils, and cooking tools. Tiffany-style light fixtures hang above the breakfast bar with log stools, offering more seating and plenty of counter space for buffet-style meals. Spacious and well equipped, Mountain Cascades. Log picnic tables with benches and chairs, along with stools at the breakfast bar and a high-top table with four stools, provide enough seating for all 26 guests. Guests won't have to spread out in the cabin for meals; everyone can sit down together. With space, an open layout, and warm wood tones, it offers a lodge look with a homey feel. Stock the pantry and refrigerators with snacks, drinks, and plenty of food for meals, so you'll have everything you need when you don't want to take the whole group into town to eat.

All of the bedrooms in Mountain Cascades Lodge have their own beautiful bathrooms. They feature granite countertops, rustic vessel sinks, and the privacy each guest wants for getting ready in the mornings and evenings. Next to the bunk room, a double bathroom boasts two vessel sinks and two separate two-piece bathrooms (with a toilet and shower in each). For added convenience, you'll also find a half bath in the kitchen and a full bathroom in the pool room.

The game room, located in the loft overlooking the living room, is a fun space for kids and adults to play and hang out. A 42-inch flat screen TV hangs above a pub-style table, and a leather sleeper sofa provides a comfortable place to relax and watch TV as others play a few rounds on the pool table. The cabin also has a new Xbox One, with 2 controllers and several games (specific games not guaranteed)! Loft | Sitting room; a second loft located between two upstairs bedrooms serves as a sitting area for relaxing and watching TV. Furnished with a 42-inch TV, microfiber sofa, chairs, coffee table, and lamps, this is a great space for chatting or letting kids play. The sleeper sofa here also serves as additional sleeping space if you're traveling with a large group.

Home theater: Boasting an 80-inch TV, Blu-ray player, and comfortable leather seating for nine, the home theater offers the ultimate movie-watching experience. Forgo the uncomfortable theater seats and enjoy lounging in these plush sofas complete with cup holders. The barn-style sliding doors create a unique look, and the Edison-style light bulbs offer ambient lighting when you want the lights out. The kids will love curling up on the bean bags, and there's even enough space for laying out sleeping bags or blankets on the floor. It's the perfect spot to have a movie marathon or watch a big ball game.

Indoor pool: Offering more than just a pool, the pool room in Mountain Cascades Lodge is spacious and luxurious. Ranging from 3.5 - 5.5 feet deep, the 16' x 30' heated indoor pool (kept at 87 degrees) features a wading area for kids, a beautiful waterfall feature, a salt-generating chlorine system, a log bridge, and stone details throughout. There is plenty of seating all around the room, including a cushioned loveseat and the dining table for six that's set in an alcove styled after a picnic pavilion. It has a 55-inch TV for those who just want to relax, along with a CD player, DVD player, and sound system. Bring along the kids' favorite movies; they'll love having them going as they splash around in the pool!

Every bedroom in Mountain Cascades Lodge is a stylish and relaxing retreat for guests. For restful nights, each bed is outfitted with a pillow top mattress and cozy bedding that will tempt you to head to bed early and sleep in. Spread throughout the cabin, they provide the privacy you want on your Smoky Mountain vacation. Six of the bedrooms have king-size beds and 32-inch TVs, and every room has a closet for unpacking and storing luggage. The Yellowstone National Park room is the bunk room, which will be a favorite with the kids. It's furnished with two full-size custom-made bunk beds, a 42-inch flat screen TV, sleek tin ceilings, and a sleeper sofa for lounging or extra sleeping space. In the Yosemite National Park room, you'll find some of the most spectacular views in the cabin. Gorgeous turquoise bedding is bright and fresh, and the bathroom offers peaceful wooded views. Walk through the loft sitting room and you'll find the Shenandoah National Park bedroom with warm reds and browns. The other upstairs bedroom, the Grand Canyon National Park room, boasts beautiful mountain views.

On the main level, find the Grand Teton National Park room just off the kitchen and the Rocky Mountain National Park and Big Basin National Park bedrooms paired to the left of the living room. The Big Basin National Park room has beautiful views and easy deck access through the glass door. Along with the amazing amenities inside, Mountain Cascades Lodge continues to impress with its outdoor spaces. Hand-hewn logs make up the exterior, and a wraparound deck offers tons of space to enjoy the incredible views and lovely Smoky Mountain weather. The covered deck is furnished with lots of cedar rocking chairs and a dining table with cushioned chairs just off the indoor dining area.

On the lower level, a six-person hot tub is the ideal place to unwind after a long day. As you sit back with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee, take in the beautiful mountain views and enjoy the serenity that comes with the secluded Pigeon Forge cabin. With luxurious interiors and so many wonderful amenities, it will be hard to leave Mountain Cascades Lodge.

Very spacious cabin. Nicest indoor pool I have ever seen. Very clean. Amazing view. Very close to town. Only negatives was weeds hanging over driveway and scratching vehicles and theater room furniture was severely worn and damaged.

Beautiful views and overall nice place. We sat on the porch alot with all the chairs and really liked the hot tub. The pool was broken when we were there except for the last day so that was a disappointment. Couches in living room and theater room need replaced as they are worn and uncomfortable. Nice having a bathroom attached to every bedroom. Customer service was helpful when we contacted them.

This property is good for a large group as you can spread out and there are enough places to sit. However, for the price you’re paying all the furniture including beds are frat house dirty. Hygiene is a big problem at this place. It’s dusty and neither the pillows nor mattresses have protection so it has stains. Big ick. It also advertises a theatre room which we couldn’t even use because the TV is broken. The pictures do not resemble the true state of the furniture. View was beautiful. Ample parking for 7 cars. They really need to do better on the quality of the place.

Family Gathering

This cabin was perfect for our first family gathering since the onset of Covid. Our 10 adults and six kids comfortably fit into the bedrooms. The pool, hot tub and fire pit, along with the large dining space, provided places for all family member to enjoy and interact with each other after being isolated for so long. Our entire family loved the week we spent at the cabin.

Wonderful home for an extended family vacation

We had a wonderful week at this amazing home with our 20 family members! The home was perfect for our three families and three couples. Large enough to spend time together - while also giving privacy. Pool and hot tubs were favorites of everyone! And the home theater is a nice amenity as well. Great communication with the house manager and very clean. There are so many things to do nearby -- hiking, tubing and whitewater rafting in the Great Smoky Mountains, fun at The Escape Room, go-karting, pancake breakfasts... we had a blast.

Beautiful Home!

We had the best time at this property! The view was simply amazing. It was very private and serene. Driving up to the cabin is a bit challenging on the curvy gravel road, but once you get up there its all worth it. Only issue was a tear in the pool table fabric, one chair in kitchen needed to be tightened. Didnt notice anything other fixes that needed attention. You are still really close to the strip in town and there were lots of attractions and things to do. I would recommend this property and would definitely stay again!

Great Cabin

Beautiful cabin with beautiful views! Size, layout, kitchen, kitchen supplies, pool, theater room, pool table, etc. was great for large family gathering. Cabin is located at the top of a mountain and there is a gravel road, but don't be intimidated, it is easy (and safe) to navigate. Be careful if snow or ice is expected, you're not able to get off the mountain due to the icy back roads leading up to the cabin. Just be patient and wait for the ice to melt. Highly recommend for future visitors!

Family reunion

The property was wonderful for our family of 14. The pool was a huge hit and we were so comfortable with each family having room for mom, dad and children. Our one huge negative was not having it wheelchair accessible as stated in the description. The only walk in shower was on the second floor. The doorways were hardly wide enough for a walker.

The Cabin You Never Want To Leave

We stayed here in April of 2020 and came back in September of 2024. The place was still in excellent shape and an outdoor fire pit and sitting area had been added. This place makes me not even want to leave to go to town for anything; I just want to curl up inside for days without ever stepping foot off the property. It’s so secluded and you never see a soul, and it has everything you need to have a good time. We used the movie room for football, movies, and games on the switch. We went from pool to hot tub over and over. We played pool upstairs, used the outdoor seating area for games and dinner, the rocking chairs for morning coffee, and the double set of appliances in the kitchen to cook and drink. Our party of 10 all had their own spaces as well. I love this place!

Amazing home!

It was a beautiful, clean cabin with a wonderful set up with seven bedrooms, all with their own bathroom! It was more secluded than many and the hot tub, pool and theater room(we used for football games) were amazing! The host was quick with any questions before and after arrival. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because there was not toilet paper in every bathroom and there were no salt, pepper and spices, dish soap, etc in the kitchen that I am used to at other "cabins". It is so nice when you get there and on top of the mountain that you really don't want to have to leave! So if you just make sure to pack those things you will not be disappointed! We had 7 couples there and all want to go back to the same cabin again!

The best cabin ever!!

We rent a cabin every year and this one was just straight AMAZING! Everything was clean, there were notes everywhere to give you directions on using things, two of all appliances in the kitchen… I could go on forever. There were two small issues that we ran into (the dryer stopped working). They had someone out there SO quickly for both things and got them resolved. Whenever we reached out to tell them there was an issue, they replied almost immediately! I cannot say enough good things about it. Due to all the things above AND the fact that they respond almost instantly if there is any issues, we will be staying there again, no doubt. Everyone loved it!

FAMILY OF 13 FROM PA

A++ on this perfect beautiful property!!!! On the side of a mountain with privacy but yet all the fun of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the Smokey Mountain Park only 10-15 minutes away down the mountain. The bedrooms and bathrooms were beautiful and perfect for my Family. The indoor swimming pool, sauna, theater room and pool table were all bonus for my 6 Grandchildren on our down times at the house and kept them entertained. The kitchen is beautiful and the seating in the kitchen again was perfect for our Family, as well as the outside table on the deck. The living room is huge and again perfect seating. We also enjoyed the outside fire ring and again a lot of seating to sit all together. My 7yr old Grand daughter was sad when we had to leave at the end of the week because she said that she LOVED living in this big house with her whole Family and cousins!!! Don't hesitate, rent this house for a perfect Family vacation stay!!!

Beautiful house and setting!

We were on a senior class trip (16 total) and we loved that this house was on spacious acreage and allowed so much distance between the neighbors. We also loved how remote it is (10 min drive from Pigeon Forge?), as we are from a rural area in N. Michigan. The kids (teens) would hike up the mountain top (right next to us) and just sit and look out. The amount of space inside was amazing; I had 13 teens who don't necessarily all get along, so everyone felt like they had their own space. The pool & hot tub were very clean but the pool table was a huge bummer. The table felt has a huge "v-shaped" rip and the whole table just needs to be replaced. The toilet handle broke on the first flush ( by the kitchen) and others felt like they were going to break at anytime, as well. I advised the manager and they responded quickly, thanking us for the info and I don't believe we have been charged for the broken handle. Wifi connectivity wasn't great but we had 13 teens trying to connect and being "unplugged" or having slow internet, wasn't a bad thing as we were only there in the evenings. TV is cable only, no netflix/firestick but overall, this house is amazing! We had a great stay!

Wonderful family vacation spot!

The cabin is absolutely beautiful and can accommodate a large group of people. Plenty of room to come together for meals yet can get away for quiet time if you wanted. The pool was awesome, plenty of pool towels. The biggest complaint was the fact that there are creatures (squirrels?) in the walls and ceiling who "played" at night & kept people awake in the front & middle bedrooms on 1rst floor. (They played every night) If planning on doing alot of cooking for a large group, take extra cook ware as there are not nearly enough skillets and cooking pans to do so Take all of your condiments and cooking needs, pick up extra trash bags for the kitchen trashcan - we had 3 for 5 days - not enough. We also needed to purchase extra dishwasher pods (had already brought laundry detergent). Be sure to make sure the thermostat is ON or you might be chilly. The fireplace is awesome and truly heats the entire downstairs. If you tend to be on the cool side in the winter, be sure to take extra blankets as those are few and far between. We did find 2 in the dryer along with the fitted sheets for the sleeper sofa after we had been there a day. Plenty of bath towels as long as you plan to do laundry. Some of the jets in the hot tub weren't working and the water was a bit cloudy when we first arrived, but this cleared; the pool was perfect. Be prepared for a steep, windy, narrow drive to get there, but it is well worth it. Beautiful cabin!

College family reunion in the Smokies!

This mountain lodge was incredible. We traveled with a group of five families for a college reunion. The view from the balcony at the back was incredible. We loved the pool and hot tub - exactly as described. The bedrooms with en suite bathrooms were super convenient for each family to ensure privacy. The additional kitchen appliances were a huge win to accommodate cooking large meals with everyone. The house location guaranteed privacy and we enjoyed that we had solitude away from busy Pigeon Forge. Communication was detailed and questions promptly answered. Guests should be aware that bath towels are thin but provided, plenty of pool towels are available as well, beds and pillows were soft. All kitchen and paper products must be brought or purchased.

Good cabin

We have stayed here two years in a row since we loved it so much the first year. There were quite a few things that needed attention (lots of wear and tear around the place as a whole), but I messaged the owners after we left before creating this review. They assured these matters were directed to the right people. We are hoping to stay again next year, but will definitely be dependent upon most of the items we sent them being fixed. They are very responsive to things if issues come up during the stay which we are always grateful for.

The home was beautiful needs many repairs

The home is absolutely beautiful but a lot in need of repair! The media room was great, but the furniture in there is very old and worn. The indoor pool was wonderful, but the waterfall didn’t work. A couple of TVs in the bedrooms got an error message when they tried to watch it. The area rug in the main living room was taped down except one corner had come up and presented a tripping hazard for our toddlers. The kitchen was wonderful but pots and pans need updated, both dishwashers smelled of mildew or mold and the filters looked dirty. We hand washed everything except the last day. There is no ice maker as is listed. The mattresses on the beds are old and uncomfortable and beds were squeaky. The internet was not strong enough to support even a couple of phones, so we virtually had no internet the whole time. The view from the house was amazing and we enjoyed the fire pit one night. We made wonderful memories despite the condition of the house. When you rent a home so grand, you expect the furnishings to match!!
