Stylish, Cosy, Family-Friendly Former Chapel in Heart of Staithes. Sleeps 8 (9)
Opened in 1858 this was the first Primitive Chapel in Staithes. The Old Chapel offers cosy, luxurious living for 8 (or 9 at a pinch) in 4 bedrooms. The old village is a very special experience as the village has a unique character, beloved of Captain Cook and Old Jack (of Old Jack's Boat fame). The Old Chapel is a well equipped gem and the perfect place to exhale for family, friends, kids & dogs. Rates shown are weekly but Weekend and Mid-Week breaks may be available outside of peak times - please enquire and watch the video.

About the host
Hosted by Amanda Gregory
My family bought and still own a cottage in Staithes in 1966 . I spent happy childhood holidays running around the village and love that my own children now do so themselves. Indeed so often do we come for summer hols that I decided to buy somewhere bigger to come more often with a selection friends and family.
Why they chose this property
The Old Chapel has a solid elegance and scale that appeals and is in the heart of this beautiful and timeless old village.WEEKEND BREAKS (Fri / Sat / Sun AND MID-WEEK (Mon / Tues / Wed / Thurs) BREAKS MAY BE AVAILABLE OUTSIDE OF PEAK TIMES - PLEASE DO ENQUIRE re: availability To see all rates including weekend and mid-week break please see www.staithesoldchapel.com and click the "Rates" tab. The OD site often gets mid-week pricing wrong and it is not always available, so do enquire first.
What makes this property unique
I simply loved the space and ability of a party of all ages to find a somewhere in the house to occupy and something to do without being in one another's laps!
