COUNTRY HOUSE IN OLD LECCIO

The apartment was completely restored in the spring of 2015, and is housed in an eighteenth-century farmhouse. The house has an entrance on the ground floor, kitchen and living room, large bedroom, smaller bedroom and bathroom on the first floor, for a total of four beds in the two bedrooms. In addition, the living room of the house also has a sofa bed for one and a half, so two adults and two children can sleep there. In total, the house can accommodate six people, two on the sofa bed and the other four on the bedrooms. The house has heating and air conditioning systems in all rooms. In all the windows of the house there are mosquito nets. The house has a large garden and exclusive parking. The apartment is located in an ancient farmhouse complex surrounded by greenery and in the heart of Tuscany. The farmhouse, very bright and welcoming, has been restored and furnished with furniture from the early 1900s. The cottage is close to the most beautiful artistic cities in Tuscany. By staying in our house you will experience a unique experience, because everything contributes to giving you the suggestions of a bygone era, in which the peasant civilization, with its work and its daily life, gave a complete sense to everyday life. The kitchen of the house is equipped with a fan oven, four burners with gas cooking, fridge with freezer, and complete with all necessary utensils and dishes. The house is equipped with wi-fi internet in all rooms, TV and DVD player. The house is surrounded by greenery and is surrounded by fields still cultivated with traditional cultures typical of the Tuscan countryside, such as olive groves, vineyards and wheat, and is only 4 km from the center of Pistoia. The area where the cottage is located is at the foot of one of the most beautiful hills of Pistoia where there are two villas from the 1600s, the villa of Celle, today one of the most important private modern art museums in Europe, and the villa Imbarcati intended to private home. From our house you can enjoy a beautiful panorama of the whole hill and it is very easy to quickly reach the most beautiful cities and towns in Tuscany. Half an hour by car we have Florence, Fiesole and its hills, Chianti with its wines, Collodi with the Pinocchio park and Villa Garzoni, Carmignano with its works of art, its famous wines, the Montalbano hills where important international cycling races are held every year. With only 40 minutes on the highway we find Lucca and its walls, also Pisa, Siena, Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi, and Abetone with its famous ski slopes. Vinci is the hometown of Leonardo da Vinci about 18 km away. We are immersed in the most typical Tuscan countryside, in the midst of fields still cultivated with traditional crops, at the foot of a beautiful hill, and only 4 km from the center of Pistoia. About 2 km away from our house we find the PANORAMA shopping center, with the supermarket, the pharmacy, and various shops, clothing, optics, footwear etc. There is also a specialized medical center next to the PANORAMA shopping center. Just 1.5 km from our house there are two renowned restaurants "Da Luciano" and "Alessandro". From our house it is very easy to reach the highway entrance which is about 5 km away. The city of Pistoia is one of the most beautiful representations of Tuscan Romanesque art, with its beautiful historic center full of shops, restaurants and wine bars. Montecatini Terme is a very important tourist resort, thanks to its beautiful and renowned spas and the numerous cultural and entertainment events that take place there in the summer.
Grotta Giusti in Monsummano Terme is one of the most popular and exclusive spas in Italy. In the countryside and in the hills surrounding our house there are many paths marked by the CAI for those who love trekking and mountain biking. The sea and the beaches of Viareggio and Versilia are very close, they are only 40 minutes away by highway.
