The property almost as advertised, which is a good thing! Location was great. We were near all the shopping areas. There's even a Kroger minutes away for those last second items. All of the rooms were nice and clean. House truly had a historic charm about it.
Aaron, the owner, was great to deal with. We had a slight issue as we had an older person with us and discovered too late that the rooms were all upstairs. We worked it out and even got a nice gift out of it!
My only thoughts are the chairs could use some repair/upgrade. A few of them had bad legs. Also, I think they were upgrading the bathroom with the laundry units as some of the fixtures were missing/partially installed. Other than that, it was a nice experience and we will definitely use them again in the future! If my in law comes, we'll rent his other unit which has the 1st floor room :D
My children and their children our first family vacation
This was an amazing first family vacation with our growing family the property was very clean and located as listed everything was very close in proximity we must visit again!
We had a group of 11 visiting Savannah for a Girl Scout adventure. It was a perfect location to walk about Savannah and close to food and grocery. House had everything we needed and lots of bathrooms and space! There was a problem with the cable when we were there but the homeowner was apologetic and said he'd make it right. We'd stay here again!!
The house is a very old house which seems to have settled in (almost feels like the house is falling apart). All bedrooms are spacious and they come with a daybed and a trundle. It has a small broom closet which when you open it, it has some of the wall with mold spots. The great thing is that the house is right next to a park and close enough to the Forsyth park that you’d be able to walk to it. The house however did have a ton of fleas. I had to purchase a flea spray from the Kroger nearby to make them stop jumping on us and biting us. I contacted the host and did not hear back from them until much later after we checked out. The host then mentioned they’d call a pest company but didn’t offer me compensation for the u comfortable stay. My family and kids all had flea bites. Do not recommend this location unless they did a throrogh cleaning.
Clean historical home with plenty of room. The house has four good size bedrooms with king size beds and twin beds in each room, which was great. Nice park across the street for the kids to play. Good location and walkable to downtown. No problem with parking on the street. We had a great trip.
The house was absolutely precious and had so much historical charm. Great location; we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to in the downtown area (fountain, rooftop restaurants etc).
The house is spacious with four good size bedrooms. It is easy to fit in our group 11 people. The location is convenient to downtown and not far away from beach. It is easy to park off street.
I loved this house, very charming to the times it was built. Everything was clean and the decor was very nice. I liked the extra supplies of laundry soap, shampoo and conditioner, kitchen cleaners. It was all very nice!
