Awesome stay and super helpful host

We had a nice time in Cassis. Our train to Cassis was canceled but the host, Alan, picked us up from Marseille. We were so grateful. He even took us shopping to the next bigger city where the shops were opened during the morning hours of sunday, to fill up our supplies. The apartment is situated on the terraces of cassis, overlooking the city. By foot the city center and the local beaches can be reached within 30 min.

We have been there earlier this summer. The apartment is well finished as it appears in the pictures. However, there are a couple of things that are not visible in the picture and make it a bit uncomfortable. First, the bedroom is ridiculously tiny; on three sides the bed touches the walls, you can's event insert your finger, on the fourth side there are 20 cm of space; you feel hard to breath there. Secondly, from the space outdoor is completely enclosed between 3 meter high walls; not only you don't see the sea, but you can't see anything else, except for a small square of sky. In summary, it's a nice place to sleep for a few nights but not good for holidays.

This small, inexpensive, apartment is intended to be a comfortable starting point if you want to go to the beach and explore Provence in general. It has many conveniences with everything you are likely to want in the kitchen including dishwasher, washing machine, television in the lounge, etc. It does not have a sea view. The bedroom is small, and that is why we have arranged the bed to touch two walls, so that there is enough room to walk around the other two sides. Of course, it doesn't touch the wall on 3 sides!!! Alternately, a couple can put their suitcases on the bed and sleep on the convertible sofa in the lounge.

Belle semaine de vacances

Location parfaite pour un couple. Avec des enfants c'est plus compliqué. Le canapé est très inconfortable (à changer absolument), la mezzanine est beaucoup trop basse (on tient à peine à 4 pattes sur la partie centrale) et l échelle raide. Le propriétaire est adorable et arrangeant. Location très propre et avec tout l équipement nécessaire. Pour revenir du centre ville en été, prévoyez une bonne forme physique pour remonter. Ou alors il y a les navettes payantes mais alors là aussi ça peut s avérer être une vraie mission. Mais ne comptez pas y aller en voiture, se garer est impossible et les parkings sont toujours pleins. Cassis est une jolie petite ville et les randonnées vers les calanques sont magnifiques

Appartement beau et confortable, pour 2.

Propriétaire accueillant et sympathique. L'appartement est beau, confortable et propre. La situation géographique par rapport au centre de Cassis est bonne si on ne veut pas être directement dans le centre, sur les hauteur avec parking facile. Deux points négatifs cependant : 1- la chambre est vraiment très petite, le lit y tient la quasi totalité de l'espace, impossible de se déplacer autour du lit, pas trés pratique. 2- les 2 couchages en mezzanine sont quasi inutilisables à mon sens tant celle-ci est basse, on s'y déplace à peine à 4 pattes et l'accès est compliqué. Bref, pour 2 c'est très bien, pour 4 c'est compliqué, même avec 2 enfants.

Perfect small apartment with great facilities

Alan’s apartment was a great stay during our climbing trip to the Calanques. The facilities are great and the the kitchen was well equipped for preparing dinner, lunch and breakfast after or before a day out in the Calanques national park.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la propriété de Alan. L'appartement est bien situé dans un endroit calme, proche des grandes villes et à 5min du marché de Cassis. La terrasse qui va avec est superbe et nous a bien servit. + merci beaucoup pour le cadeau d'arrivé, cest toujours plaisant ! Alan pense à tout, je recommande.
