Just a few minutes from the Pope Palace and the historical center of Avignon, in the heart of unspoiled nature on a river island, Mas Château Blanc will introduce you to the authenticity of old Provençal stone buildings. The farmhouse has 5 spacious bedrooms, all air-conditioned, and 5 bathrooms with separate showers and toilets, accommodating up to 10 adults.
Fully equipped kitchen, outdoor barbecue, large adjoining dining room, and large living room.
The living and outdoor lounge areas are furnished in a refined atmosphere, blending modern comfort with old-world charm.
A large 5x11m saltwater swimming pool will allow you to enjoy the Provençal sunshine to your heart's content. For island excursions or to stock up on fresh fruit grown on the island, 4 bicycles, fitness equipment, and a ping-pong table are available. There is ample parking with the option to charge electric vehicles.

Amazing stay at a beautiful home!

We were a group of 10 (7 adults, 2 kids and 1 infant) and the villa was perfect for us. It’s located about 10-15 minutes from Avignon and is a cozy retreat away but close enough to town, groceries, restaurants and Roussillon. It was well appointed, everything worked as described and we are able to order Uber eats on the days that we just wanted to stay in. The host, Fabienne, was great and answered any questions that we had promptly and also gave us recommendations for some great restaurants on the island on the banks of the Rhône. We took a day trip to Chateauneuf du Pape, Gordes and Roussillon which were less than an hour away. I highly recommend the villa!

Charming property with great amenities and fantastic design. The location is perfect as both Avignon and Villeneuve are easy to get to but the Mas is separate and apart jn a beautiful farming / ecological area, so you can easily choose between country and city experiences. The whole property including the lovely pool area feels like an oasis. It is also very easy to take side trips to beautiful places in the surrounding areas such as Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Saint Remy and others. Fabienne and Philippe are lovely people, wonderful hosts and extremely responsive. The Mas was fully supplied with everything you could require if you decide to cook in. Fabienne's recommendations for nearby restaurants on the Island should be followed as they were amongst our best experiences.

Fabulous property - highly recommended

A large, well-decorated converted farmhouse tucked in the middle of Barthelasse. We didn't know what to expect of the location, but found the island peaceful, with quiet roads and endless fruit orchards but with quick access to Avignon (parking lot on Barthelasse and walk across the bridge) and Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. The house was very well maintained and clean, with generous outdoor space, a lovely pool with loungers and umbrellas, and 8-10 bicycles available for use. It was only recently refurbished and everything was very nicely designed and immaculate. It has been configured as a bed & breakfast, so every room is en suite (with excellent showers!). The owners live on-site in the 2nd half of what is an even larger building, which was convenient for gaining access and helping us with our luggage when we arrived as well as answering any questions we had during our stay. They have their own entrance, pool and garden, which are set behind a wall, so are neither seen nor heard unless you need them. The only shared area of the two properties is a large laundry with 2 washer and 2 dryers and entry drive / parking area. The house and location are highly recommended. The bicycles were an unexpected touch and the island makes for nice cycling. Having quick access to Avignon while being in a peaceful surrounding was a nice combination.

Gorgeous Property

This is a hidden gem! Located on an island on the Rhône just outside of Avignon, this is a spectacular villa. Beautifully decorated with five spacious bedrooms, modern plumbing fixtures, manicured grounds with great outside seating spaces, private pool area. Gated property that feels away in the country but only minutes away from Avignon center. Good dinning option nearby without having to go into the city. Bikes available for exploring the island or riding the bike paths into Avignon. Would highly recommend and hope to stay there again.
