Walnut Valley Cabin is a cozy vacation cabin that is surrounded by nature. The perfect getaway for couples, small families, and friends. Comfortably furnished and fully equipped with an outstanding list of amenities.The cabin is located 8 miles north of Logan, 9 miles south of Lancaster, and an hour southeast of Columbus. A few of the many amenities include: a hot tub on the rear covered deck, stocked, private fishing pond, WIFI, tennis court with a basketball hoop, pickle ball court, and fire pit.

Guests must shower off before entering the hot tub. The tub is very sensitive. Bring towels for the hot tub.

Everything was as advertised, clean, well stocked, great communication, and all the wild life you want to see, whether at the fire pit, the hot tub or enjoying a cup of coffee from the front porch. Had a very relaxing trip in the ideal setting.It was peaceful, secluded just enough but centrally located to everything that brings someone to the area.

This place is amazing! The host are spectacular people and so very helpful! Every amenity was made available to us. The cabin was the cleanest I’ve ever seen! Property was impeccable! We couldn't have had a been time! You will not regret staying here! Dave and Rhoda are amazing people and their property is the best we’ve ever stayed at! Added bonus—-they had fresh blueberry muffins waiting for us at check -in!

The cabin was spacious and spotless. It was close enough to everything but still felt secluded. Muffins on the table upon our arrival. The hot tub was great after a day of hiking. We will definitely book here again if back to the area.

My wife and I had a wonderful time during our three night stay. The cabin is immaculate and in a very quiet location. Everything functioned well (nice Keurig). We were within 30 minutes of the state park. My wife noted the extras that were provided and said they were a nice touch. We don’t often stay in the same place twice but this place would be on our short list.

PROS: The cabin was clean and well kept. We liked the spacious living room/kitchen and very comfy couch. Very large Jack & Jill bathroom. It was nice to have a large, clean hot tub that felt like you were sitting in the woods. It was a nice cabin for two people for a quiet weekend away from kids. Not a far distance from Logan or hiking trails.CONS: There were several lamps but the cabin was still not very well lit. There were thin curtains on the windows but the front door and kitchen windows were not covered at all. I didn't like that there were no deadbolts on either the front or back door. I didn't feel unsafe but I like the extra security. Wifi was provided but on a limited plan. We visited mid to end of the month and it was already nearly exhausted. BRING YOUR OWN PILLOWS: the pillows provided are very thick and do not compress. After just two nights, I strained the left side of my neck. It was still so painful two weeks later that I had to visit a chiropractor.

It's unfortunate that you didn't like some of the aspects of the cabin. However, all of the things you listed could've been fixed with communication. There are pictures of the cabin that you could've looked at before you booked and asked about the curtains. You could've asked about the deadbolt issue, and you could've asked if the pillows were soft, medium, or firm. Also, if you stay somewhere and there is an issue, please reach out to the host immediately. We would've been happy to get you some different pillows. I also could've done something about the wifi. We do thank you for being respectful of our place and being great guests.

This was the best place to stay! It felt secluded even though you were less than 20 minutes to most stores and attractions. The correspondence before booking was wonderful and they answered all my questions quickly. I immediately was charmed upon walking in to the cabin - there was a decorated and lit Christmas tree, other decorations, and the TV was set to Christmas music. This made my whole trip. In addition, they provided delicious cinnamon rolls and some k-cups for the Keurig. The sofa was comfortable, the beds were wonderful, and the hot tub was simply fantastic. I definitely will stay there again!

The cabin was very clean and well kept. The welcome binder with directions and ideas for local attractions was very helpful. The hosts are very easy to get in touch with and responsive. The hot tub was very clean and sanitized and set up on the back porch which feels very secluded for relaxing. Tons of extra things like a basketball and tennis courts and also a fire pit
