As you enter the unique home you will instantly feel like you are on vacation. The sunny and spacious French inspired kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal. It also features a coffee bar with a Keurig and Cuisinart coffee maker. Gaze out of the large windows while you cook, talk, and enjoy a glass of wine around the island.

Italian, Portuguese and English design elements, along with a touch of Charleston charm, create an eclectic, worldly style in the living room. Two sofas and a table with plenty of seating provide enough space for everyone to enjoy themselves, whether watching a movie on the 50" 4k UHD TV or playing board games, cards, or Chess.

The living room flows out to a private, screened-in porch with beautiful Spanish tiles and a large sectional sofa. Great place to stay

This location was central to everything we wanted to do while we were in Charleston! Very close to downtown as well as the other surrounding islands. The house was clean and as advertised. My wife and I were very comfortable for the week we stayed here.

This is an amazing, beautifully decorated home. It is very well equipped, in a cute neighborhood close to the highways. It was a bit chilly for our stay, so we were unable to sit on the screened in patio,but it was lovely. This home has all you need for your home away from home.

Great vacation rental

Birthday adventure

Wonderful location for easy access to both the beach and downtown Charleston. Beds and pillows were very comfortable and was able to fall asleep easily. My daughter loved the relaxing hot tub. we loved our stay.

Excellent location average house

I specifically booked this house for the hot tub and fireplace and found it immensely disappointing that we were unable to enjoy them. The hot tub did not have water in it and the fireplace had no instructions. We text the owner who did not get back to us until the following day and we’re told it is a wood-burning fireplace and if we did not know how to use it to leave it alone. They were unaware the hot tub was not working even though somebody was there to clean at 11. There is only one TV in the whole house and with other avenues of entertainment and relaxation not functional it became trying to occupy everybody on one TV.

Wonderful Location Leading to lasting memories!

The property was wonderful, clean, and had all the amenities you could ask for for our family. My wife, myself, and our toddler stayed and greatly enjoyed every aspect and truly had a fulfilling and relaxing vacation. The location and distance was great to everything with truly an easy drive to downtown Charleston, or just as close to Shem Creek and the beach. Thank you to the host for helping create a vacation that will have lasting memories.

Relaxing stay and good location

Everything was advertised. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and quiet neighborhood. Great location to explore North Charleston, Mt. Pleasant and Charleston. Communication with owners was outstanding. Had internet issues the first night but the owners got it repaired within 24 hours.

Perfect spot to host a girl's trip!

Just spent a refreshing week at the vacation villa. We were amazed by how clean, restful and beautifully designed this home was. The neighborhood was quite and we had everything we needed to enjoy a wonderful week in Charleston. It's location mere minutes from Shem Creek was a wonderful surprise as well!

Ladie's Annual Trip

We enjoyed our stay very much. The villa was just as advertised. We had plenty of room for 5 ladies, place was clean and beds were comfortable. Easy instructions to follow and host provided recommendations for nearby restaurants. We had a very short UBER ride to Shem's Creek for dinner and enjoyed a wonderful cocktail cruise. Spent two days in downtown Charleston which was just about a 10 minute drive. It was a wonderful trip, plenty to do in the area and nice accomodations.

Cousins Reunion!

This Mount Pleasant condo was a terrific spot for me and my five cousins to meet from around the country and enjoy several days exploring Charleston. The accommodations were lovely -- we all found the beds comfortable, and we enjoyed hanging out together in the cozy living room and well-furnished kitchen. Parking was abundant, and we enjoyed the hot tub one evening. The owner was quick to respond to a couple of small questions. Was a fantastic choice for our girls trip!

Overall great stay!

The place was very clean and nicely decorated. We were not able to really use the hot tub as we had looked forward to. Apparently, it was punctured not long before our stay, but we were not made aware until I reached out to English. We also had issues with hot water taking an excessive amount of time to come out of faucets, showers, but worked through that mostly. Location was great, and neighborhood was quiet for the most part. English has a lot of little extras, which is very nice!

Perfect location, lovely & cozy home.

Perfect spot to explore Charleston. 12 minutes to downtown, and centrally located to all the other popular places to visit. The home is in a condo complex next to a nice little neighborhood of family homes. VERY quiet, rarely saw any neighbors. Home is very clean and well cared for. Added touches unlike any other vrbo Ive stayed, actually had paper towels, some laundry and dish detergent, trash bags, etc and a carbon monoxide detector, indications guest safety and comfort is thought of - fridge, dishwasher, laundry facilities all in working order and very nice. Cable and excellent wifi. And the hot tub was very nice, very clean (im usually leery of hot tubs, but this one is clean and like everything else, very well cared for). The decorative patio lights popping on when the sun went down was a nice surprise, again this owner has so many personal, beautiful touches I was impressed. I highly recommend, we were very happy here.

***NOTE: The review below is from the friends I was supposed to be traveling with, who actually made it to Charleston for the stay. My mother-in-law had a critical medical emergency right before we were supposed to leave so we were unable to go. (The non-refundable status for a stay at this unit is absolutely firm, by the way - I advised the owner that only the other couple would be going but no partial refund was offered.) So the review below was written by the other couple who stayed there. To her credit, when I reported the status of the unit to English (owner), she was shocked and immediately offered to go ino the next morning to do a full clean. But our friends were not comfortable with the offer and declined. Here is their review:*** This property was dirty when we checked in. The kitchen stove, refrigerator, freezer, countertops, and etc were dirty. Food was in the refrigerator, freezer, and cabinets. Melted ice cream in the freezer. Both bathrooms upstairs had black mold in showers. Mirrors were dirty, rooms were dusty, porches were dirty. Staircase is narrow, steep, and steps are small. Railing is low and you must bend down when going downstairs. Would be difficult for older individuals or anyone with knee or back issues.

Disappointed

We were trying to celebrate my mother in laws 80th birthday . I had to contact the owner a few times for the entry code and then the wifi password. I had asked ahead of time how I would receive this info and was told that it would be communicated at our check in time but I had to follow up for the information. When you are the responsible person for coordinating a few people it would be nice to receive the info when promised. The refrigerator did not work which added a bunch of trips to the store for ice to keep things cold. The hot water was minimal, I took 1 hot shower the whole week. I contacted the owner about the fridge after being out sightseeing, it took a little while for a response but figured maybe they were working. The last communication was "trying to get a repair person" then no other communication. Not even a lie that they couldn't get someone until the next week, but of course there is a posted statement for no refunds. I then discovered after trying all day and several different cycles that the dryer was not working, didn't bother to let the owner know. The owner does go out of the way to have items in the house, soap, lotion, trash bags but we couldn't get past the major things that were not working. The area is lovely, the beds are comfortable and the house is right in the middle of everything but just sad so many things went wrong

I put everything I have into making this property a beautiful, special and comfortable place that exceeds all expectations.

This property is centrally located between historic downtown Charleston and the beach. It’s also very close to Shem Creek. It has a great floor plan with a living room that flows outside to the beautiful outdoor space.

What makes this property unique

I love the European village-like feel of the neighborhood, and the fact that you can walk to restaurants and shops. You definitely feel like you are on vacation while here. I also enjoy how private the back porch and patio are, and you just can't beat having your own, private hot tub and screened-in porch. It's a wonderful place to relax after a long day exploring Charleston.
