This is a sweet little spot and home away from home! We appreciated the ease of check in and check out. You can tell that the hosts want you to have a comfortable stay. Everything was great! We won’t see our kids for Thanksgiving, so we were able to bring it to them and make a whole Turkey dinner and enjoy it at the Magnolia House! Will definitely stay again if we get the chance!

Great location, Comfortable Accommodations, Easy Stay

It was a happy accident that we ended up staying in Hillsboro at Magnolia Dreams. We actually meant to stay in Wichita in this property popped up and I didn't read super close lol. But it turned out great for a girls weekend, with short walk to a good Mexican, restaurant, close drive to Hutchinson and Wichita.

Flint Hills Christmas

This was an exceptional place for us to stay while visiting family for Christmas. Walking distance to Tabor College and downtown (annual craft fair). There was plenty of space for us, three rooms to sleep in and a good assortment of books and games. It’ll remind you of the warmth and simplicity of grandmas house. We hope to stay here again as the accommodations and location are perfect for Hillsboro, McPherson, and Marion.

Birthday party group

The location to downtown is perfect and the use of a garage is wonderful. The house comes equipped with most needed items. It was difficult to figure out how to get into the internet on the TV. A few things that could help the stay is more glasses and lower down on the shelves, ice trays and instructions on TV and internet use. Well worth the money though.

Stay May 16th - 19th left AM of 20th

Easy to get to, was a bit warm when we first got there. Rooms cooled down after we set up the air to a comfortable level. Downstairs Bed pretty hard and just a full size bed tight for two if used by two adult sized people. Upstairs bed is larger and more comfortable for two. Floors creak so if your a light sleeper it will wake you up. But an overall comfortable stay. Thanks for a nice stay.

Great stay in Hillsboro

This property is comfortable and spacious. We did not utilize the living space in the basement. There is one empty room in basement for a potential bed on the floor or air mattress. The patio garden out back was a lovely coffee spot in the morning. I don't recommend opening the door on the cabinet the tv is standing on. :) Great location for walking main street to shop and have dinner.

Magnolia Dreams was very comfortable and had everything we needed. There is a cute patio with table and chairs. I sat outside and drank my hot tea in the morning. Everything was very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the notebook with information about the couple that owned the house and how it came to be called Magnolia Dreams. I also enjoyed the host of the paintings in the house. I would recommend staying at Magnolia Dreams. The Magnolia tree in front is beautiful.

Perfect House - Right in Hillsboro!

Overall: This home is wonderful. It is very clean and comfortable. There is plenty of space for people to spread out. I would have loved this layout when my children were younger. The wifi is excellent and the kitchen well equipped. The towels, toilet paper, paper towels, etc., were of great quality and plentiful. It was extremely hot when we arrived and we were very thankful the air conditioning was on and set so that the house was cool. We were invited to a wedding in Hillsboro. One hotel in the town... I decided to check Vrbo...and of course found the perfect location! My sister, my brother and his wife, along with my husband and I, rented this little home which is one half of a duplex. Upon opening the front door of the home, we had quite a shock (spoiler alert): We'd entered the 1950s!Most of the home is outfitted as though it were still sometime in the '50s. The kitchen has been updated a bit with new appliances, but the gizmos and gadgets, the cookware, the dishes, the towels, the bedding, the wallpaper, the furniture, the art on the walls (much of it painted by family members,) the bathroom, just, well, just everything, was all a throwback to the 1950s. What a delight to stay in such a place.There is also a single stall garage. A filtered water pitcher in the refrigerator. Some basic cooking supplies in the cupboard. A game room in the basement with many games to choose from.

Great little property in a fantastic little town!

We came to drop our son off for the Masters program at Tabor College. The home made the experience even better. It is the perfect place to be close to everything. College to downtown. We walked everywhere. Our host was awesome and we will book again, if available for our next trip out.

Perfect for our needs

We needed a place for our whole family to stay while we were in Hillsboro for our daughter's graduation from Tabor and we had already stayed at Magnolia Dreams when we brought our daughter to Hillsboro 3 years earlier. The house had plenty of space for all 6 of us and was only a short walk from the Tabor campus. In addition, Robetta was gracious enough to let us host a small open house for our daughter's graduation. JoAnne was also very attentive to our needs when we had a light bulb burn out. We couldn't be more happy with our stay and with our hosts. Thank you Robetta and JoAnne!

Heritage home on b street

Came to visit my son for Senior Day, and to celebrate his achievements. This home was two blocks from his dorm This home reminds me of my grandparents home back in the day. Has all you need, however found out too late there was a French press in cupboard! While I am not a Keurig fan, there was one with k cups provided. Admittedly I'm a coffee snob so I was dismayed to learn too late about the French press. Enjoyed the quiet neighborhood.
