Tikehau is a paradise atoll in the Tuamotu archipelago, a 55-minute flight from Papeete, the capital of French Polynesia. An atoll is a type of coral island low in the tropical oceans. The atolls consist of a coral reef or barrier and several islets called motu.

Tikehau offers its visitors a real natural swimming pool, superb white and pink sandy beaches as far as the eye can see, a crystal lagoon with a multitude of tropical fish species. Marine life is very rich and promises nature lovers beautiful shows.

The island is populated by around 500 people, the locals call it "the house of a peaceful world". The population lives mainly on fishing and copra. Tikehau is one of the most popular atolls in Polynesia for relaxation, change of scenery, diving, fishing, discovery of natural Jacuzzis called "Feo", walks on the motus, visiting the picturesque and colorful village of Tuherahera and the bird island where rare species nest.



You will stay in an individual Polynesian Bungalow, consisting of a bedroom for up to 3 people, a bathroom with hot water, and a private terrace with views of the beach and the lagoon. Breakfast and dinner is offered by your host. You will taste seafood, seasonal tropical fruits, and traditional Tahitian recipes, such as the essential raw fish in coconut milk.
